The purple flowers that in Spring bloom on the magnolia tree
A memory to live on when other memories fade
Only by Mother Nature such beauty can be made
And Nature's natural beauty is for all to be admired
And by Nature and her beauty poets and artists are inspired
To create their own beauty for others to enjoy
And the poet and the artist is in every girl and boy
But only Mother Nature could have in her the power
To create a thing of beauty such as a purple magnolia flower
In all my days and many walks such beauty i have seen
Like the bluebells by my old home blooming by the pebbly bohreen
But nothing quite so beautiful or so 'twould seem to me
As the purple flowers in Springtime on the green magnolia tree.

Existing before the creation of bees, Magnolia trees were pollinated by beetles. They developed sleek leaves and toughened blossoms due to the climate and creatures they existed in, which was mostly a rainforest. The bark and blossoms of the tree have been used as medicines. ⊰Gender:⊱ Female ⊰Powers:⊱ Support, Healing ⊰Appearance:⊱ Ayanna has purple eyes, the orbs calm and unassuming. She has dark brown hair, which she braids over her shoulder messily and haphazardly, as if she just rolled out of bed. It is about waist length, with split ends here and there.She has light brown skin, and her cheeks are dusted with freckles.
Her expression is usually one of passive acceptance, and she rarely cracks a smile or frowns. She stands with a straight back of natural elegance, and takes careful steps as she walks.
She wears a knitted purple shawl most of the time, usually feeling to chilled even in warm weather. She wears a green dress with brown detailing along the sleeves and collar , which usually goes down to her brown boots that are tied with string. In her hair is a purple magnolia blossom, which actually sprouts from her head. Her clothes are clean and carefully pressed, giving her a tidy look (despite her best efforts with her hair) ⊰Distinguishing Features:⊱ Her flower blossom.⊰Personality:⊱ Ayanna is a quiet person, preferring to allow others to speak than to speak herself. It is not that she doesn't have much to say, more of she doesn't believe her opinion will effect the given situation. She is observant, finding the ability to notice even the smallest details and infer a situation from them. She is a bit of a (forgive the pun) wall flower, and doesn't approach others that she doesn't know very well. Ayanna enjoys reading and writing, as well as talking with her beetles, who are her friends. People around her find her to be a bit odd, but she doesn't mind. She dislikes dirt greatly, and hates getting her clothes messed up. Her favorite place to be is up in the branches of a tree, reading quietly and looking at the crowds below.
Ayanna has a heart for adventure, but fears diverging her path from what she normally does. She is a person who fears change, bu dreams of adventure. She lives out her adventurous curiosities through reading books, which she does quite frequently. She also makes various stories, usually involving brave knights and distressed ladies, under the name 'Zerena Flur'. Of course, no one has read the stories she has written, but all the same she felt it important to have a pen name. She came up with a separate personality and interests of Zerena as well, ones that starkly contrast with her own.
She can speak with beetles, and sometimes gains information from them. As such, Ayanna has happenings on the various happenings around town even without speaking to people. These roots are from a neighboring magnolia tree, and as such she may only use this ability if a tree is within 20-50 feet of her(depending on the age of the tree).Connection to essence: Magnolia trees are set apart from other trees in how their root system is set up. While other trees' roots branch out, Magnolias have rope-like roots that for the most part does not branch out from itself. ⊰Cankerblossom⊱⊃SupportAyanna can cause her blossom to wither prematurely, and throw it at an opponent as a distraction. The stench from the flower will cause eyes to water and for one's nose to become runny. It takes 2 days for her blossom to start growing again, and a full week for her to reuse the ability.
Connection to Essence biggrin espite the beauty of magnolias, they have a foul stench when they are dropping their leaves and blossoms.⊰Ancient Remedy⊱⊃HealingAyanna's hair and skin has oils with medicinal proporties. It has the ability to disinfect wounds and in large quantities remove fungal infections.However, used in larger quantities causes her to dry out and dehydrate quickly. This ability can be used on dusts and humans, although it requires larger quantities to work on humans.
Connection to Essence: Magnol(a chemical found in magnolias) has been used in ancient chinese medicines for years. It acts as an anti-bacterial, an anti-fungal, and an anti-depressant.⊰Sharp Gust⊱⊃OffensiveAyanna summons a flurry of magnolia leaves, causing minor lacerations to the recipient and distracting them for a few moments. It works best when used during the fall.

 ⊰ Name:⊱Torin Connifs⊰ Age:⊱ 22⊰ Gender:⊱Male⊰ Description:⊱Torin likes his hair to be long and wavy, constantly boasting the chocolate tresses that tumble down his back. He has no tattoos of which to speak of, but always wears a pair of glasses he pushes up his forehead. He has a 5'o clock shadow due to the fact he tends to just roll out of bed and throw on clothes. Torin likes to wear his outfits to the bare threads, usually sporting a simple men's kimono and sandals. His eyes are a deep green, usually wide in wonder.
⊰ Personality:⊱ Torin is quirky to say in the least- for starters he tends to speak in the most roundabout way possible. When referring to someone he knows, he always refers to them as the "____ Person". For example: "Aaah, the Hawktopus Person! What happens to be upwards?"
He tends to come off as a bit of a jerk, but in reality he is not trying to mock anyone; he is genuinely curious about what others have to say. He is always looking for new people to talk to, and will sometimes run a conversation into the ground. Torin spends his time reading and interacting with people, usually chasing them off with his quirkiness. He is a well read man, and is quite intelligent in any way other than socially.
Torin has a debilitating fear of dogs. Just the sight of him makes him seize up in fear and suddenly want to run away. In the presence of a dog picture, he will promptly tear it to pieces and throw it in the fire. This has gotten him in trouble a few times⊰ Pros:⊱

⊰ History:⊱⊃Torin was raised in Aimes, where people came and went as they pleased. He never was able to make solid friends due to his oddity.⊃His father died around the time he was 7. He and his father never got along well, but after his death Torin was unsure if he should feel bad or happy his father was gone. The dude was kind of a jerk, always trying to get Torin to change how he acted and telling him what to do. Torin enjoys the way he is, and when his father was constantly telling him everything he was happened to be wrong, it made Torin understandably upset.⊃His mother had a fairly submissive personality, usually listening to anything and everything his father said as if it was an absolute truth. After he died, she started having anxiety attacks due to the fact she could no longer make decisions by herself. So Torin had to learn the necessities of living fairly quickly, shopping for food and cooking. When he was 18, he moved out of the house, and hasn't seen her since.⊃Torin worked as a paperboy for 2 years, before deciding that by doing so, he was slowly isolating himself. So when he was 20 he went and applied for a job at an Inn, where he still works today. He enjoys this job due to the fact that he can now spend his time talking to people, and if they want a room they can't run away! He does fairly well; The old women who come to the in love him.He has rented a room in the inn, and lives there as one of the night clerks. ⊰ How He Found The Dust:⊱Torin was walking by the magnolia tree beside the inn, in the rain. Of couse, disliking rain and all, he was anxious to get back to his room and dry his gorgeous hair(as he loves to call it.) When something caught his eye. There was a sort of trinket intertwined in the exposed roots of the old magnolia. Naturally his curiosity got the better of him, and he proceeded to try and dig it up. It seemed as if the roots were wrapped around it, preventing him from pulling it out. He gave up, and went home for the evening. When he came back to the spot a few days later, he noticed a dog digging up the bauble, instantly terrifying him. However, he felt a sense of entitlement, having seen it first, and proceeded to yell at the dog. Luckily the animal was scared off by his harsh words, and Torin went to see the bottle once more. It was undamaged, and easier to pull out. So Torin took it home with him.⊰ The Relationship:⊱Torin and Ayanna have an interesting relationship. He constantly embarrasses her with his abnormal speech and behavior, and she confuses him due to his immaturity. He was not ready to raise a child in the least, especially one as timid as Ayanna. The two of them are almost polar opposites, and as he tries to draw her from her shell, she tries to get him to act like less immature.
