SNOWBALL FIGHT! Mounds of snowballs await the more aggressive folk in a nice clearing nearby the FEAR clinic. They are so large and numerous, they nearly obscure the broken and bloody bodies that litter the ground. The OOC Rules for the snowball fight: - Everyone has 25hp! - Regular snowballs are 2d6-6! - Multiple people may target the same person because this is awful! - Specialty snowballs are unlimited! - If you hit 0hp or below, you're out for an OOC 24 hour period! - Post quote when rolling to target! Specialty Snowballs! - Missile-toe: roll 1d4! It does not cause damage, but the target will feel compelled to bestow that number of kisses to the person whose post is above their own. - The Holly Handgrenade: roll 2 d4! The first die is the damage to the targets, the second is the number of people above you that are targeted! (if 1, the person right before you, if 2 the last two people right before you, and so on) - Ice Spikes: roll 2 d8! The first die is the damage to the target, the second is the damage to yourself! - Cleverly disguised rock: Roll 1d4! If the amount is odd, you missed! If the amount is even, the target receives that damage + loses a turn due to concussion because apparently you're an a*****e. - Yellow Snow: Roll 1d6! This is the amount of hours you should spend questioning your life choices.

(( entering from food court ))
"What, like, what'll I owe ya?" he said with an amused snort. "Anythin' y'want," West continued without hesitation, regretting his confident retort almost immediately after it left his mouth. The possibility of Levi beating him was very high already, and now on top of that, he knew she would be doubly motivated to win with the promise of having him in her debt over the battle.
"But it won't happen anyway, so dun think too hard 'bout it." The tone of his reply was just cocky enough to be grating, almost as if he didn't notice her suspiciously gathering snow with her tail. He did.
The boil broke into a jog, taking in his new surroundings with a grin. Unlike their last battleground, here the snowballs were ready-made. They even came in different types, as far as he could tell. He itched to try them all, well, except maybe those yellow ones, but first he had to get away from the tatzel's tail. West hurried ahead, scooping up what was probably the tiniest snowball he had ever seen and flicking it back at the ghoul.

[entering from food court]
Oho so that's how it's gonna be? Sounds fine ta'me, boil! Her toes dug into the packed snow underfoot. Just remember yer word. If West said he'd be willing to bet anything on his win, Levi would hold him to it. There was no turning back from a promise made to a tatzel... or a demon, for that matter. The bet would have to work both ways, and Levi would allow it no other way; fair was fair. She just wouldn't say anything until the time came. No reason to get him all riled up more than she was; that wouldn't work in her favor.
The white-eared ghoul sprinted after him, only when she got to a mound of snow, ready to pack something together, she'd receive an early hit to the back of her head. In surprise at West's swiftness, Levi would take a moment to shake her head of the cold chill afflicting her. How'dja- oh. OH. I see whatcha'got thar. Someone apparently hadn't noticed that there were already snowballs premade for them there. Yew weasel of'a rascal. Thinkin'ta git tha'jump on me, eh?
Levi wasn't that dumb. Trying to attack West while he was in a fully prepared offensive position would mean she needed to think evasively and defensively first and foremost. This was why she leaped behind the mound, trying to keep out of his line of sight.

Soon after the tips of her ears disappeared behind the pile of snowballs, West circled back around, slowing his jog to something less noisy. He debated removing his boots completely to eliminate the telltale crunch, but the recent memories of freezing dampness stopped him. He didn't want to end up as soggy as he had the last time they had done this.
His tongue poked out from between his lips as he tried to creep up next to the pile without making a sound, and for the most part he succeeded. If he had been paying attention, he might have been proud of this burst of stealthiness, but the only thought on his mind right now was winning. A few more careful crouching steps put him close enough to grab a snowball, which he promptly tossed over the mound to the other side, hoping it would score a hit.

Making her own ball from whatever was on the ground, Levi took to her hands and knees, peeking around the side of the tiny white hill. At times like this, the ghoul was, for once, thankful for her white fur. It may not have been all that useful on a regular basis, but against the snowy terrain, she had a bit of an edge for camouflaging. That, and the peculiarly pleasant crunching of snow from footsteps could be heard getting closer and closer.
Her tail peeked out the opposite side of the mound, as if a lure, but it was already too late. Wrath demons were closer than they appeared and a cold plunk! of snow hit her in the back just as she tossed the snowball around the corner. SSSSSshhhhh Spine straightening out, Levi clenched her teeth in shock, but didn't move for several minutes until the shivers passed. It probably hadn't been the best idea to make a noise while attempting to be unseen as she'd been trained to do, but that was cold.
She curled up onto her knees and blanketed herself within the coils of her tail under what was hopefully the cover of a hit from her own snowball. Did I get him? Now on the side where her tail had been thought some shuffling, the ghoul peered around, looking for that familiar pink.

A (manly) gasp, a loud crunch, and a muttered "Jackdammit," sounded in rapid succession before the immediate vicinity went silent as West tried instead to brush off as much of Levi's snowball as possible. Though he had known exactly where she was the entire time and he had been sneaking, she had still managed to hit him as well. It sucked.
The comfort he took from her soft hiss was balm enough to get him moving again however, though he remained crouched and hidden as well as he could. West turned to face the snowball pile, choosing a jagged shiny one to throw next. If stealth wasn't going to work, he supposed he could try the element of surprise.
With a shout, the demon rose to his full height and darted around the mound, tossing the ball at the wrapped tatzel and hopping away from the scene of the crime, but not before he heard a faint pop and a couple of hunks of ice came shooting back at him. He folded in on himself to try to keep them from blinding him or something, but otherwise stood perfectly still a full three feet away from the ghoul who was likely to retaliate any second.

She fully expected a comeback, but not that quickly. In truth, it seemed the wrath demon she'd once trained in agility and evasion was now nearly at her own level. Nearly. Rather than depending on making the largest ball possible, he was going for whatever was quickest to get in hand and throwing more directly rather than just anywhere she could possibly be. West was tracking and taking precautions in visibility and silence. Or so the tatzel was keen on believing until the boil put himself plainly in view to pelt more balls at her.
Levi was about to follow up on the attack with some smart words in rebuttal, but that was when she took notice of the difference in ammo. This hadn't been a cold wet rush but a sharp weighted sting. It would take another look around to see the hardened (more like spiky) balls. So he was using these? Out of all the options, these seemed to be the most likely to created that sort of damage.
Keeping low, she rounded the corner of the mound, trying to follow her ears until she was able to do a quick peek around to spot the boil. Hardened ball in hand, Levi paused mid-throw. No, he'd expect this now that he knew where she was. It was time to leave this spot. Dashing through the snow, with the snowball in her tail's grasp, Levi looked for a ditch in the snowbank, rolling into it and then peering over the edge. Tail appearing like a periscope, Levi stayed low under the cover of the curb, catapulting the ball over with her tail. While pretty effective,it was not without its own backlash. Holding onto the icy ball for that long caused the fur of her tail to somewhat stick to the orb so that upon throw, it took some of her with it. SSSSSSsss~ She could only think about the pain of the tiny hairs being plucked out all at once. A cry out loud would give away her position. Though if he'd been paying attention, he'd have noticed what direction the assault came from...

Grabbing a couple more ice balls, West hurried after her, huffing a disbelieving puff of breath into the cold air when she was suddenly nowhere to be found. He stopped again, listening for any signs of the camouflaged tatzel and finding none. It was therefore a complete shock to the boil when the ice cluster struck him squarely in the back. Well, not a complete shock, seeing that he was in the middle of a snowball fight, but a surprise nonetheless. The boil spun in place, looking for any sign of Levi or another of her attacks. He inched in the direction from which the projectile had come, squinting in the hope that it would help him differentiate one white heap from another.
A flash of movement! West flung his snowballs in that direction, wincing again when he was struck in turn.

This was the most acute sense of precision Levi'd ever seen coming from the wrath demon. Where his punches usually aimed randomly to anywhere that would potentially hurt, he was required to focus on tracking right now. This was as close to working on his accuracy as he'd ever been when not armed with a weapon.
Okay, the snowballs were still weapon. Levi, reevaluating her outlook, concluded he might have just been blessed with Jack's luck sometimes, covering her mouth to keep from chuckling. That might've been what allowed for another icy bomb to come crashing her way. In an attempt to flee from the boil's possible radar, the tatzel rolled over the snow, not realizing that this mass too was riddles with the same hard and spikey balls that were being flung at her. Jack dangit!
She threw a few a little too carefree West's way while recovering and taking to cover behind another mound.

He shielded his face against her assault, blocking most of the ice with his forearm, but his eyes never left the spot where he thought she must be, and soon he was rewarded with the glimpse of a fluffy white tail snaking away. West practically launched himself after her, taking off at a run but slowing soon after when his foot slid through a patch of mushy snow and he nearly fell. He looked back with a growl, his frown shifting to a sort of mildly disgusted look of embarrassment when he saw the color of the snow that had almost caused him to fall. Yellow.
Dragging his affected foot behind him to clean it in the much whiter snow, West continued on until he was crouched on the other side of Levi's current hiding spot. Never had he been more grateful to have kept his shoes on.
"I gotcha now," he said, some of his former smarminess returning. "C'mon out so we can declare me th'winner."

Ears twitched at the sudden closeness of her target as a thunk sounded, followed by dragging along the ground. Yup, that could definitely be West. Listening to further evidence provided by his voice, the ghoul scoffed in dismissal instantaneously rejecting his proposal. In'a piggles eye, boil. Grabbing a rather fresh looking snowball hinted with what might have been white berries, Levi threw it overtop the mound at the direction of the voice just on the other side of where she was. Yew ain't got nothin'!
There was no way he'd hear her utter defeat. It was like asking her to bounce without use of her tail or something as far as she was concerned. Though a tinge of curiosity began to run through her while thinking about it. Didn't even tell me what'cha wanted. She was only asking out of interest and not because she accepted his less snow-riddled self as evidence of his winning. West hadn't won anything.

The smarm gave way to a smirk when she so readily denied him an easy win. He wasn't surprised. West never expected her to concede without a fight. It would ruin the fun. The boil thought he had more to say on the matter. He licked his lips and drew them into the proper shapes to speak, but all of his words were knocked out of his head by the berry-laden snowball that dropped out of the sky and landed squarely between his horns. It burst into a cloud of powdery fluff on impact and rained down around him, slowing the world to a crawl. When it sped up again soon after, he had only one thought on his mind. Actually, there were four thoughts, but his brain's insistence on the fact that they were separate was a little bizarre, so he didn't dwell on it.
He hadn't been entirely certain he was winning in the first place, and things were even less clear now, so when Levi asked him what he wanted, he was at a loss as to how to respond. He swallowed and rubbed the back of his hand over his eyes. Why wasn't she running or fighting anymore? Why wasn't he?
"I..." He cleared his throat, then very carefully slid to one side, inching around the pile of snow between them in a relatively silent crouch. By the time he got halfway to his goal and within sight of the ghoul he was almost crawling, and when he reached Levi's side he sat up straight and brushed cold fingers across her cheek, replacing them soon after with his lips. Those fingers curled around the back of her neck as he pressed faint kisses to her forehead, the opposite cheek, and finally her mouth before pulling away slightly. The world came back in a chilly rush, and West felt a twinge of fury at himself for initiating something like this where anyone might have seen. Anyone who happened to look behind this particular mound of snow. Okay, fine. They were probably safe.
"Didn't tell me what you wanted neither," he muttered, his hand finally leaving her skin as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.

She heard the shuffling through the snow at her side, suspecting at first that West was about to bombard her with a final blow. She was too wet and chilled to really think at top speed, but both hands did brandish snowballs as her knees hit the floor. She'd be ready for when he turned that corner.
But the boil appeared before her unarmed. As if holding stones, the tatzel's hands lowered, dropping the ammo almost instantaneously. He didn't want to attack? What did he want-
It was nothing if not unexpected.
She'd just been ready to take a vicious beat down by snowballs when instead he'd done that. It had been quite some time since they'd done that; kissing. At such a time, for the life of her, Levi couldn't understand why he'd chosen to display his affection, but he did. She shivered when his fingers brushed against her face, looking straight into him but the freezing touch wouldn't stay that way for long. The followup of his lips was like holding an ice cube over a brightly lit fire; it thawed her straight through.
The rush didn't stop there. The more West did it, the warmer she got. Levi, for a moment, was certain he'd just dried her off and there was steam rising from her body despite her still being cold and damp. When he pulled away, the veil of warmth partially went with him, and the ghoul involuntarily sought to retrieve what had been lost. Pressing her lips together, Levi hummed before speaking in a whisper of a voice, as if a decimal louder would result in her form crumbling into the snow beneath her like she'd just been petrified. Ya' know, ...can't really remember anymore.
Both hands reached out, cupping his lower jaw and bringing him back over to her. The tatzel ghoul's heart rate increased when she rested her forehead against West's, hearing her own rhythm and knowing what was coming next. The inevitable reaction to his actions was underway and he'd just have to accept it because, right now, the force was magnetic. He'd left all too soon and he thought he'd get away with such things without something coming back at him? Not a chance. Everything Levi was just demanded the retaliation. But I reckon this'll have ta'do. Reaching over his shoulders, the ghoul laid her arms over to the point where her fingers scrapped against the fabric of his coat. There was no escaping her now. In the midst of her hunt, the tatzelwurm had won (of course) and was about to retrieve her prize. C'mere. It was almost completely hushed, but still audible before she reconnected with the demon's lips. Placing her weight on him, Levi also urged him forward with the prodding of her claws at his back as her arms fell to wrap around his. When she disengaged the kiss, the tatzel didn't pull away, but once again settled her forehead to West's.
There. Yer paid up. She grinned widely, forcing herself to rip away when a cold gust brought the chill back into effect. A shudder passed through Levi visibly as she rubbed at her elbows to create warmth by friction. Gettin' kinda nippy.

He felt embarrassed and uncomfortable after letting her go, confused by his muddled brain's insistence on such a stupid series of actions, but it wasn't long before he began to wonder why he didn't do things like this all the time. Had he known this was the sort of response he would have received, he might have. West kissed her rather insistently in return, fighting for dominance even now, when he was getting something he wanted. His arms unraveled from their protective X and held her tightly to him, fingers digging into her back. When she pulled away, he didn't bother trying to stop the faint, disappointed growl that rumbled in his throat. He bit his lip when she broke contact completely, feeling nothing but cold and damp without her close.
"Should get outta this snow then," he said, creaking to his feet and smacking the white powder off of his knees. West brightened with a sudden thought, flicking open the trio of buttons that held his coat shut and spreading its sides. His grin was slightly forced at first, but it quickly warmed over the ridiculousness of what he was doing. "Or come in 'ere with me." He didn't care how cold she might make him or how many ice crystals were frozen to her tail or in her hair. Maybe it was the JOY in the air or maybe he simply didn't want to stop touching her, but right now he honestly didn't give a shriegle's a** who saw them acting this way. Today they were just a couple of anonymous citizens of Halloween walking around town. They were safe.
He cast a narrow-eyed glare at the smattering of snowball-wielding creatures who passed as if daring them to make fun. Okay, maybe he still cared a little bit.

Levi raised a brow for a moment but was clearly intrigued by West's offer. Wry grin still maintaining its place, the ghoul crunched into the snow one foot following the other without physical hesitation into the open coat. Once she turned her back to his arm, the ghoul began to wriggle a bit uncomfortably. One sec- 'ere. Lemme try this? Turning again to guide his arm out from one of the sleeves, Levi replaced it with one of her own. There! This'll work, I'think. Under the cover of the coat, Levi's un-sleeved arm snaked around behind West's back hugging him at her hip while tightly keeping shoulder-to-shoulder with him equally.
Fingers curling over the fur of the cuffs, Levi held the end of her sleeve up to her cheek, pressing the fond feel of fuzz to her. Nearly purring, her tail spiraled about behind her, seeking out its counterpart in a slender spade-ended demon tail which it soon located and coiled around immediately. Was'a good choice this coat. Lil'on tha'pricey side, but a'fine quality. Never in a million would she have been able to fathom spending such a sum in one place let alone one item of clothing. It suited him though; Levi couldn't seem to object to West sporting fur just as she couldn't object to his scent of rusty metals surrounding her while being wrapped in his garment. It was all just welcomed comforts to her in various ways.
Once the warmth began to come back to her face, Levi's hand slipped into the coat's pocket and she gestured one way for them to begin walking. I think'a change'a clothes might be a good idear. C'mon, let's go.
