Hey I have a question.
I am mainly looking for an answer from someone that's over 19 and older and has experience this.
So I just started my menstrual cycle yesterday I believe.
I usually wake up with a headache when I'm on my menstrual cycle and I am use to it, but today its different.
Instead of the usual headache I wake up with during my menstrual cycle.
I ended up feeling rather very nauseous and a horrible stomach ache.
I can't eat something for long without feeling nauseous.
Is it normal to feel nauseous during a menstrual cycle?
If so, what can I do to feel less nauseous?
If not, should I be worried? What should I do?

Seeing as this was posted a while ago, are you still having this issue?

Well I just got off my period just recently.
But I usually feel like this when I am on my period.
I am just unsure if its normal or not.

When women are in their period they have symptoms that can vary from individuals...

For example, I often have abdominal cramps... I don't have appetite but I still eat to have energy.
My friend would be nauseous and really tired...

So yeah, it is normal to have those kind of symptoms... Since they are so annoying I take pain killers and it decreases the pain gradually till I feel nothing and I will be ''normal'' (I can feel that I am hungry and I am not tired anymore).
I talked that with my mom ... You can also talk about this to your doctor or pharmacist so they can tell you which pain killer to take.

Each woman's pms symptoms can be different. I actually used to have that problem when I was younger. Now my pms is different almost every month, one month before my period started, my body was having false pregnancy symptoms.

Thank you so much for this. I would talk to my mom about this but she would probably wouldn't tell anything or would say I might be pregnant. I'll talk to my doctor tomorrow if I am able to see one.
I would take some pain killers but they don't really do much effect on me. :/

Before when I was younger I would feel extremely sleepy and tired but now that I am older it moved from that to very nauseous feeling and a horrible stomach ache.

I stop taking birth control. I guess you can say the birth controls and I don't really get along.
Sexually active? Yes, and we use protection.

Protection is good. Why don't you get along with birth control?

Yes that is normal, and the symptoms will change as the years go by.
As for painkillers have you tried different kinds? Some work better for others. My mom uses Ibuprofen for everything and it works fine for her but Pamprin does nothing, while Pamprin works great for my cramps, and Aleve for my headaches.
