Akubi had been here for a day or two but mostly slinking about within his natural form because it was simply warmer. Today was a different story. Akubi was in humanoid form wearing warmer gear to fend off some of the chill from the snow. He wasn't sure if he liked this weather or not.
There was a reason for his outing today mostly to hunt down a certain banshee. For the moment he slunk around the Amity gates hoping to catch her unawares for a nice pounce for a surprise greeting. Unfortunately he wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings because he was staring so intently at the coming and goings of the gate.
Ears tilted forward. Pupils dilated so he didn't miss a thing.
He was waiting. Yes he was.

Siobhan had fallen asleep in the bushes. Waking up, she pent the better part of the after noon untangling her tresses from the thorny vines. Her attention turned out to the gates, and spotted someone that made her jaw drop.
It was him!
Her friend from that one time! She'd spent some weeks at his Auntie's house with him! She loved this boil! He was so cool! So fun! So nice! He was here, finally! She'd received a letter some time ago, and was just so excited to finally see him there. She needed to run out to him, let him know she was there. Let everyone know that he was her friend.
The banshee pulled her tresses free and flew across the grounds at an alarming speed.
"eeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEE!!!!"
Screeching was her give away, but regardless the cat boy was not to flee her grasp. The banshee flung herself at Akubi, tackling him to the ground. "AKUBIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!"

It might have been her give away, but it also allowed her a chance to tackle him down into the snow rather than his plan to get her first. Ears once erect flattened against his skull to shield himself from the eardrum shattering sound and he could do nothing but fling arms up to catch her and hug her to him as they both went down in a spray of white and yelling both surprised and yelling. Their voices seemed to just meld together and it was hard to see who was making what sound.
"SIOOOOOOBHAAAAAAAAN!!!!" Akubi countered as he laughed.
He adored this ghoul there was no question about it. He had spent some time with her until she went away to the school but now he was here as well to support her and be her friend. Akubi was now stuck under her in a pile of snow.
Boil couldn't say that this was a disadvantage or not. "I've been looking all over for you!"

Siobhan giggled, wiggling and clinging as tight as she could manage. "Akubi! Why did you not try the Ghost dorms!? Silly boil!" She giggled some more, finally releasing him to proper herself up with her hands.
"I have missed you terribly! Did you find new and better friends than me? I was so worried you would forget me!"

"I keep getting lost and turned around-wise," he admitted sheepishly, "I don't know the ghost dorms from the undead dorms very well yet." With Siobhan he was a little more humble.
He shifted to sit up a little and shake some of the snow from his hair as he flicked gaze over toward her and snorted, "I would never forget you. Now look who is being the silly one! No one is better than my Siobhan. Yes."
Akubi shook his head, "Such a silly ghoul!"

Siobhan squealed, reaching her hands out to ruffle either side of his fluffy head of hair under his ears. "YAY! Only me!!!" She got to her feet, dusting the snow off of her thin dress and offering her hand.
"Come! Let me show you the things!"

Oh. Hey. That felt nice. Brief purring sound and leaning into the ruffling before eventually she moved away to get to her feet making him almost collapse back into the snow. Akubi just barely caught himself from doing so and he took a hold of her hand.
"All of the things?" He laughed as he got to his feet with her help. "Show me!"

"I will show you the things!" Siobhan shrieked, pulling him up as her free arm gestured widely to the grounds of Amity. "Shining, sparkling and fluffy!"
Pulling her friend along, she started towards her dorm, so Akubi would know where she lurked. Then he could visit her all the time! "Over there is the school! Over there is the gym by the school! It is where we FIGHT!"

He laughed in response, "Well, I'll let your heart decide."
Where they start.
The demon feline boil let the ghoul tug him along wherever she wished to start with. Akubi's eyes looked toward the buildings that she pointed out, "Fighting, huh? Do you win? Are you a fierce tiger when I don't see you?"

"Open your eyes to the wonders around you! Normally it is not so white and chilly, dear friend. We may never see this again!" She explained, gesturing everywhere. Ghouls and boils played in snow, walked to classes or stared out from warm windows in disgust.
"I do not know! Last I fought with someone we ended up having a tickle war. I forfeited in giggles!"

"I am glad it is not a normal thing. I am not sure I approve of this snow," he replied with a wider grin. Despite misery he was still pretty pleased with everything, plus? He generally loved misery - even his own.
Akubi stared at her for a long moment, "A tickle war? I don't understand that very well, Siobhan." There seemed something odd about a war of tickles. It was like a war with hugs it just didn't seem to mix for him.

"B-but Akubi! Look what you can DO with the snow!" Siobhan bent down, rolling some snow into a ball and whipping it across the yard, knocking a canon cat off of a ledge with a loud yelp.
"Awww.. no? It started as a brawl but somehow it just became play time."

He let out a laugh, "That is very amusing," the demon boil agreed as he watched the canon cat fall. Then he looked at Siobhan giving her a thumbs up, "Nice shot~." Akubi leaned and got some snow to try and make his own ball.
"Play? I see, I see. Like kittens when they practice to hunt on their own," he said with a small nod. "Fierce enough for me!"
It seemed that Akubi wasn't just going to let Siobhan not be fierce.

Siobhan pumped her fists up, flexing her measly muscles. "Right! I am very fierce! HIIIIYAH!" The banshee flung herself at a tree and kicked it.
Snow flopped from above and buried her.

He watched her with amusement at least until the snow fell on her.
Then the laughter started. Loud, hearty laughter.
Akubi dropped his snowball and clutched his stomach as he bent and laughed for several seconds before he finally rushed over to help dig her out, "Siobhan! That was marvelously fierce. I am impressed!" Akubi said in between fits of laughter.
"I was not aware that you were so strong! You made it snow right on top of you, heeeehehe." He chuckled as he moved to uncover her.
