 "Oh so you made it past the first exam. That's just fantastic. YOu boys and girls are quite clever. Which will do you alot of good here."
The Examiner saw what everybody had picked. IT was quite interesting to see that they were warriors.. not enough had picked the pen. He only scratched his head a bit as he tumbled through a list of names.
"You have all been separated into Squads of three and one squad of one. Out of fear that one might kill all of you we have seperated her.. Yes Squads of three, and one. However I have trained a set of dogs to help you.. So don't fret.. you will still have all the aid you need. We know that you arn't used to working in teams.. so hopefully this changes all of that. Except one group one of you will be with two people but thank god i was able to wrestle up some ninja dogs to help you."
The Examiner handed them a list.
"Here each one of you will be finding me these specific things."
Group A: A panda cub, A scroll, and finally the Kage's Ring.
Group B: A Spear, A knife, and finally a Phoenix Feather.
Group C: An Anbu Mask, An Hunter bo staff, and a Wolf's tooth.
Group D: Brass Knuckles, A wooden Sword, and finally The Kage's Amulet."
Group E: A Dragon's Knuckle, A Golden Flask, a Dragon's Tear, An Pixie's Wing,
He cleared his throat after reading the list.
"You will have to find each part of your list. There will be no miss matching of list. There will be no trading of list. YOU and your group must find each part of your list."
He sighed as he walked towards the Forest. He walked deeper and deeper in but his voice could still be heard.
"All of your team must survive. If one of you falls.. or dies... your team is eliminated. The Last team to find all of their items.. eliminated... If you switch list or do not find all the items on your list by time.. I come back Fail. "

How to Play Each item has a number by it. So For Example The First Item will be 57. The Group has to collectively roll a number that equals up to 57. Person A rolls 7 Person B rolls 25 Person C rolls 30 That is how items will be found. The group can use whatever dye they want, but it is only single rolls Except the group with the Two, they can roll two dice and choose the roll they want to keepThe Rules 1. Each Member of the Squad must roll a Dye. To find the item each member must roll. No ifs ands, or buts about it. 2. Once All three, (or) two members roll in the squad they can decide which roll they want to keep or they want to get rid of.. so if the target is a 45. Person A rolls- 25, Person B rolls 20, and Person C rolls 30. Person A and B can keep their rolls if they wish and person C can reroll to get a smaller number. 3. Rolling Takes both Actions. So once one rolls they can be put back on the offense until their whole team rolls. So if person A rolls they are stuck in Defense until their whole team rolls. 4. A member can dropout. 5. If A Squad member is killed.. the group is eliminated. 6. There can be no stealing of items. 7. Roleplay still applies. Just because there are dice involved does not mean you can slack on your rping. Special Rules for Singular E We have decided that you will go on this hunt alone. But due to your solo nature.. you will have to find an extra Two Items... You may Use two dice. The Rolls You need Group A: 74, 73, 25 Group B: 81, 57, 19 Group C: 82, 69, 21 Group D: 45, 33, 9. Group E: 69, 85,3, 90 Rolling Rules 1st. Your Roll can be either over or under by 15. However you have to say which one you want before the first roll. So Group A roll is 74. They can roll under 74 by 15. Which means all together they have to roll a 59. Or they can roll above which is 89. But you have to CALL It before hand. 2nd. Your roll can be either over or under by 5. Reread above but with 5. 3rd. The Roll must be dead on. Hard.. But that's the most rewarding. ** Group E Must Roll the Last Two rolls Spot on.**bonus Roll a One you will find your old Gear.If you figure out How the teams were formed...A Special Prize for you

She left the group of students and hoped her two team mates would follow her. She wasn't trying to claim herself as the team leader, but more trying to be hasty. This event was sort of a race, a treasure hunt, and a game of survival. And she wanted her group to finish on top; she would do everything in her power to help her group pass. She was excited; she could feel the excitement in the air.

She didn't really enjoy riddles, especially any that had to do with math. But she managed to get all of the answers correct, and her method of answering was approved. She liked the technicality of the word "can". She took a risk writing the answers out in the snow, but apparently it was and accepted method. She quickly reached down and picked her jacket up from the snow and put it back on instantly feeling the warmth. After she did the proctor began to explain the rules for round two. This was Kami's first exam, and she was filled with mixed emotions. She was extremely excited, and not exactly thrilled to admit extremely nervous. So a treasure hunt? If only she had her second wing she could take to the sky to find the items faster, or at least travel through the forest faster. She let out a soft sigh as that thought passed her mind, five years went by and she has had no luck on finding her missing half. She shook her head violently and noticeably trying to cause the thought to shake loose from her brain. There was more pressing matter at hand. All of the participants have been split up in to groups for the hunt.
Kami looked at her two teammates and smiled to them. "My name is Kami; it looks like we are paired up for this part of the exam." She wasn't sure how her group would handle being a team, but she was ready for this. She felt she had some intangibles to offer her group. She would follow their lead; she didn't have a choice but to trust them. But she felt like she could, they were a team. There would be no reason her teammates would try and trick her or fool her. They needed each other.
I'm clear as glass but I can't seem to ever clean, the finger prints you left on me.

The first exam was a total cinch. He had passed, and that's all he needed to be proud that he was able to get this far. Of course it was his first exam, but that didn't matter to him. He glanced up, and listened to the proctor. What was this exam about anyways? It seemed like they needed to find some items based on their team work, his weakest point. He wasn't good at working with others at all. If they just kept their distance and left him alone a majority of the time, he would be fine, and they might actually get along together. He didn't mind having other around, just as long as they didn't interfere with his business. Just standing outside listening to the proctor was slightly boring him. He had to find items, along with his team, and get them to the proctor in the amount of time given. The thing was, Aaron never played well wit others, even if he knew them. So instead, Aaron looked around, and began to locate his team mates. He say a pink haired woman, and slowly waked over to her. Giving her a small bow, his silver eyes held her leveled gaze. He didn't say anything for a moment, he just gave her his full attention. After she finished speaking, he nodded, and let her lead. There was no reason to knock her down a peg or two, there was no reason to crush her excited mood, there was no reason to go against her. For now, he just listened and cursed the proctor slightly in his head.

Why? Why must these exams make no sense? Why did people always force them to work together? Just from the look of her, they should be able to tell she wasn't a people's person. But whatever, she had to do it, and she would just have to deal with it. But, taking at a look at everyone else, she knew she was in for a world of frustration. Her weapons were gone, and her many weapons that were usual hidden in her sweater were gone, and now she felt weightless. Her green eyes surveyed the area, while her ear focused on what the proctor was saying. He was explaining everything, but she didn't care. All they had to do was find some things, that's it. But it seemed like that would be a bit harder than she thought, especially since she had to depend on people all the time. With any luck, she would get the first item. This seemed really odd, as the teams were very miss matched. It got even weirder as she was paired up with some happy-go-lucky girl. The cheery girl even introduced herself, and gave a smile that Nova didn't return. Her green eyes just continued to watch her team mate, and soon her other team mate walked up.
"Nova Suzaku" She said, a slight irritation to her voice.

Things were getting interesting. He was great when he came to team work, but he found it a bit hard to work with those who thought to highly of themselves, or had a problem working together, and therefore, Nova might be a bit of a problem. But Axis was determined to finish this exam, and claim his final rank. With a small sigh, he listened to the proctor babble and rant about his exam, it was easy enough. All they had to find was brass knuckles, a wooden sword, but the last item may not be so easy, the Kage's amulet. Nothing was ever that easy, and Axis knew this. With a sigh, he sulked over to his two team mates. He looked over, and saw a woman and a girl, no older than sixteen, maybe younger. She seemed to be full of herself, and maybe even self centered. With a small smile to them, he waved and stood next to the other woman of their group. He returned her smile, and nodded to her politely.
"Good, day, Ladies. My name is Axis Rasui, but you can call Axe is you want, makes no difference to me. Hope we can all get along and find these items quickly." He said with a friendly tone, just simply being friendly. His aqua eyes glowed with a sense of welcoming, he wanted them to feel comfortable around him, that way he could be the neutral ground in case some problems arrived.

It was one of the things Kami feared, being paired to ninja's who did not want to work as a group. Then again, she felt many of the nin would rather work solo then over a team. Perhaps Kami was different? Either way it didn't matter how much they would prefer working solo. It was a team event and they would have to put that aside for now. Kami stared at this girl and took a step backwards, trying to put a bit of distance between them. As she did she felt someone standing close to her. She quickly turned her head to notice the other member of her group standing right beside her. He had bright aqua eyes, unlike any she has seen before. She felt calm as she looked in to them, pretty much the exact opposite feeling that Nova's entire being gave her. She would stay close to Axe, he at least seemed more friendly.
"Well Nova, Axe... It's a pleasure to meet the both of you. We should probably get a move on soon." She paused as she eyed the other groups. Finding these items in the middle of the woods would be difficult, but not impossible. They would need to keep a watchful eye out for enemies along the way. She hoped one of them would take the lead seeing as she was not the leader type. She had a good feeling about this group, including Nova. They would all need eachother, so they could make this work. If they wanted to pass they would have to.

By the time Roro finishes his test he is informed that he would be advancing the the second phase of the exam. There were more parts? He really needed to get back to that mission he had been given... As he thinks more on the mission that he had been given by a small woman, he realizes what had happened. She had set him up. She put him in the proper place to where he would wind up being participant in this exams. "Well if that is the mission she really had set for me then I won't falter," he thinks to himself. He takes the rock and slivers of wood that he'd used to find a means to fill out his exam and shifts them into his side pocket on his pants. He then picks up The Poison Cure and clutches it in his grasp. Their next objective would be a more active one. He and two other members of a group would venture forth and seek out items. They would seemingly have the span of the entire forest in Hidden Leaf to search for them and would require teamwork in their collection. Roro had never really been in a formal team before, but if it was anything like traveling around with The Penguin and Lily, he figured he could get into the swing of things. Especially since The Penguin wasn't the best traveling companion with that cosplaying problem of his.
Roro's eyes find the sky as he finally drinks in his surroundings. They weren't in a building as he would assume many test might take place but outside. They seemed to be left between the fading sun and the rising moon, giving those around an opportunity to use either in whatever manner they needed. Ample light for searching for items or targets. Roro would have to be sure not to let the hunt get the better of his judgement. Still, he had a feeling that everyone would be focused on finding their items. Then they would deal with cutting the numbers down if they so wished to. So while he and his team would find themselves racing against the time set by the proctor, but also racing against the time in which the other participants could complete their hunt for items. Once given all the information he would be given, Roro ventures forth in order to locate the members of his team. Almost instantly he sees something that makes him furrow his eyebrows. He wouldn't mention it, but he would be thinking on it for the time being. Without introductions of a formal manner, the group forms and then sets out. If they weren't going to strike up conversations then Roro wouldn't initiate one. He was more the type to carry a conversation than initiate one. Using his long legs to advance him forward, the Daimyo would make an effort to come up in between Aaron and Micha.

Blue | Down 74 - Panda Cub. Hate Youyaku, not me. That's just how he is. -hides- | That man wasn't the same man as before was it? Youyaku couldn't tell since he was still out of it when he met the last person that instructed him about exams and parts and whatnot. How dare that human tell him to team up with people and to go running around through the forest. He had it up to here with all of this! Youyaku gets up from his seat and kicks over his desk. The first chance he got he would get out of the Hidden Leaf forest and out of those stupid exams. However... as the instructions were given he couldn't ignore the strong desire to dominate those in his group. A lot of the people present were simply humans thinking they were better than other weak, insignificant humans. And what did humans need? Someone to tell them how to run their life. Otherwise they would be lost, the poor sods. For their sake, he would take dominion over them. "The first group. You naked apes are no doubt the finest of a cluster of a few not so pathetic humans. Rejoice for you are in a group with a superior race. I will be leading this group and in that way you are guaranteed victory," Youyaku expresses to his team as he walks over to them and examines them with his eyes briefly.
"The first item on the list we will search for is the panda cub," he concludes as he begins jogging in place. He had to remember all the training he did in the Hidden Leaf forest for the past almost seven years now. He knew this forest. He knew all the places the item could be. He just needed to guide his team to the places he could think of. Obviously, as Youyaku begins running along the group in a direction opposite of anyone that was heading out, he was mindful that his group might turn on him for his words. But that he didn't mind as he had no care in the world about his group mates feelings.

 Sano stared blankly at the one man who spoke brashly and then laughed as he ran off. "I'm going for the Kage's Ring... you follow Aeolus, make sure he doesn't set lose the North, East, and West winds! After all our Odyssey is just beginning!" He would say with a grating chuckle to Beta. The two of them, Sano and Beta, knew each other vaguely from somewhere they wouldn't speak of, though the familiar buzz in their ears was a hint at their connection. And as his wide eyes stared at her forcing an uncomfortable atmosphere between the two of them, his unsettling grin and way of chuckling in a manner that was equally off-putting made the man quite difficult to be around. Sanosuke did a back flip and then ran off laughing maniacally to himself. "Two is one and one is two but three is me but I am you so do you do what I do when you do too is not two but true I do find it one though not three but four isn't five and six makes seven Eight! RIght?!" He sang as he ran about willy nilly not a care in the world looking for the ring of a kage. [he'll stumble upon the bear though.]

She wasn't quite sure what was going on, but something told her that the people she had been paired with was rather...strange. She already knew Sanosuke, and this new character was a very...lively one. He seems energetic, but looks could always be deceiving. Pretty soon, he just walked up to her and her insane...co-worker. Her golden locks fell down her back, and waved slightly around her hips. Her azure colored eyes continued to take in the scene before her, what was with this guy? Normally she would have stood and just watched, but it seemed they were pressed for time and had to somehow work together on this. With a small sigh, Beta looked around. Where was she to search first? Deciding to ignore Youyaku, and had no clue how to translate the gibberish spilling out of Sanosuke's mouth, she turned towards the south, and began to venture down that way, who know what she might find. Being new to the area, her beautiful eyes began to scan the forest, and picked out land marks. She needed to know the area if she was to do this the hard way as well as keep an eye on those two weirdos back there. Whether they followed her or not, it was entirely up to them.
