Bio: Being the child of divorced parents, custody of Selene went solely to his mother, who was an abusive woman. There wasn't a single moment where Selene could remember not being bandaged up. His father, who had been out of town mostly, was not aware of his son's abuse and so he made no immediate action to take full custody. The child suffered alone and adapted a need for the pain.
When his father finally became aware of his situation, he took legal action and was instantly given his son. He had Selene talked to counselors and take medications to help him tone down his explosive anger and his fits of self-endangerment.
He did well for years despite his long-term injuries from his mother and himself, until his father passed away. After that, since he was 18, he lived by himself and took over his father's bar. He stopped taking his prescriptions and self medicates himself with booze and pain. Some may find his way of living extreme, but he knows no better.
Character Flaws: He shows no emotions of than anger and joy of pain, which is another flaw of his. He often injures himself, feeling relief of mind when he feels pain. If doesn't calm himself with pain, he goes into fits of rage and destroys things around him. Sometimes, when he is too injured to find relief in pain, he'll either drink to numb it or press recovering injuries.

Although she may not show it, when a feather us plucked or falls, it causes her to be in agonizing pain.

Bio:Ever is not sure exactly where it is that she came from, she just knows that she has been alone for as long as she could remember. Several days after waking up in some town that she didn't recognize, a man who wore a strange white coat offered to give her a place to stay, giving her the impression that she was now safe. It wasn't long before he began to ask her for favors, ones that weresmall at first, but then grew the longer she stayed. It started out as a harmless piece of her hair, then blood samples and saliva samples until it finally came to her wings. At the time, she had not lost or pulled a single feather, so she had no idea about the awful pain that came with losing them until he plucked one.
When he oulled a feather and it tuned into water, the man was confused and a little angry that he could not successfully contain a specimen. He pulled another and recieved the same result, ignoring her cries of pain. The man took a vial before pulling a feather and collecting the water.
After sometime of testing it, the man discovered that the water had healing properties, and that it could heal any wound that a person had...could possibly even raise a person from the dead Wasting no time, he yanked out every feather from both wings after strapping her down, collecting the water in large buckets. Of course, with every person like him, that wasn't nearly enough, he wanted to cut off her entire wing to see if they too would turn into this miracle water.
He was cutting halfway through the first wing when somehow the saw he was using turned on him, cutting through his goggles and face.
Ever was weak from his abuse and could not do anything but sit there as she listened to the chainsaw slowly cut through his head. How she survived from the blood loss and escaped that place, she is not sure...for she blacked-out.
It wasn't until a year later, that she was able to fully recover and regain her feathers, but with Evangeline and Lucian's help, she was fina;;y abl to move on and take a chance by going to the school.
Flaws:Does not speak often, avoids interaction with humans
Powers: Shifts into a wolf, and has the smell and hearing of a wolf when in human.
Weakness/Setbacks: Even though he is a vampire, the only thing he received from that part of him is the drinking of blood, all other abilities came from his wolf side, which even then, was not very much.
His shifting drawback is that sometimes when he shifts, it sends pain throughout his entire body and he goes limp for several minutes, rendering him useless and vulnerable.
His hearing and smell are strong so certain smells and sounds either give him a major headache, a nosebleed or his ears ring and bleed.

Bio: Lucius is a childhood friend of Evangeline's who has had a passion for music for as long as he can remember. From when he was little, to now, he has mostly taken care of himself and was always independent. When Evangeline became the administrator of the Academy, she immediately gave her old friend a call and offered him a job to teach his love for music to others who share the same passion.
Character Flaws: He always bottles things up inside, never shares his problems with others. He looks much younger than he really is.

Personality:Vincent can seem eccentric and a little on the crazy side, but he has a big heart and is very smart. Unlike Caesar, he loves people and hates to be alone with his maddening thoughts.

Bio: It all started with a little boy name Damien. Him and Vincent didn't have any parents that cared about them. They were orphans that no one wanted and no one cared to help. But he's always blamed himself for that.
He rebelled all the time and often drug Damien down with him. He was such a sweet child who was brave and stood up to anyone giving him or Vincent trouble. They looked out for each other and became inseparable. They weren't related at all, but that little 10 year old was his brother and his best friend nonetheless.
But fate can always be a cruel thing. Medical practices weren't very common in his time so when Damien caught a disease that no one could figure out, there was nothing to be done about it. He was left to die. It wouldn't be until much later that he figured out he had cancer of the liver.
Losing Damien was tough on him and it drained all of the fight he may have had left in him. He got so depressed that they didn't even bother with him anymore and left him to his own devices. It was utter hell without him around. It was like the small glimmer of light he had suddenly went out and left him alone in the darkness with no way out.
Sometimes though, if you are lucky, you can find your way out of the dump. He turned my energy all onto medical practices. He wanted to succeed where others seemed to fail. He wanted so badly to help those who had been in the same state as his dear brother. He made friends along the way and formed new bonds, all with his brother and his wishes for him in mind. He thought that for once, he could be happy.
Somebody somewhere decided otherwise.
When he turned 28 years old, he was attacked and hit in the head with a heavy metal object. He doesn't even recall what it was that his attacker wanted from him, but they must have found it if they left him alive. At least that is what he thought.
When he woke up, he couldn't recognize anything and the blood dried in his hair and down the side of his face had a sweet and tantalizing scent to it. He did not understand, nor did he have an explanation for what he was becoming and why he had a burning blood lust that was agonizing unless he killed.
He hadn't expected another pain in the a** like the blow to his head had become. He kept blacking out at the most random of times and couldn't figure out why at first. Whenever he came to, he would be in the middle of nowhere, covered in dried blood and bits of human remains as if he tore through someone.
Apparently, he sustained brain damage before the change he went through and it wasn't able to repair all of the damage. He never thought that he would frighten himself so much. But you find it difficult not to cringe at your reflection when you have woken up bathing in the blood of innocent people you killed.
He understands that he is a danger to others, but he cannot stop his curiosity when it comes to the mind. There are so many people that have a war inside their brain and lose the fight everyday. He quickly became absorbed in the amazing world of psychology and the mental condition he was suffering. Now, he has the luxury of taking a disgusting medicine a good friend of his created to decrease the number of blackouts he has in a month. It works, but only for a little while. He is a ticking time bomb no matter what he does. But in the end, he am too selfish to lock himself away from others...too lonely to spend the rest of his long life alone and afraid. So he takes his drugs and hopes for the best.
Flaws:When left alone for extended periods of time, Vincent's mind races and he slowly loses his grip on reality. The longer he is alone, the more it progresses until he is completely mad and blacks out. During these blackouts, he destroys everything in sight.
Another flaw of his is that he isn't very good at giving personal space and tends to be extremely clumsy.
Setbacks/Weakness:She sometimes cannot control her abilities(If she is upset in any way when trying to use her powers, she loses control and can create a tornado of any size depending on how upset she is.) and can unintentionally create a tornado.

They had to put her in foster care but she didn't want to risk hurting someone so she ran of to take care of herself. That is when she met Evangeline who introduced her to the school.
Flaws:She doesn't often like to approach other people and will most likely stick to herself unless approached.

Character #6: Caesar, "The Devourer of Hearts"
Name: Caesar Nickname: The Devourer of Hearts Age: Exact age unknown but he is over 2000 Birthday: He doesn't remember since he never celebrates it. Species: Shadow Demon Gender: Male Sexuality: Bisexual Flaws/Disabilities: He hates socializing because he cannot stand being around humans for long, his body is covered in scars, and he eats human hearts. Secrets: none, he is bluntly honest with everyone, even when he is about to eat their heart. Powers: Using shadows, he can do four different things: *Teleportation - Caesar can teleport through shadows but cannot determine where he wants to teleport, he pretty much just has to deal with where he ends up. *Summoning- He can also summon things from the shadows, so far the only thing he can summon exactly is his scythe. *Regeneration- He can heal himself and others using the shadows. The only drawback for that is that he can only heal others depending how drastic their injuries are. *Manipulation- He can create things out of the shadows that can act of their own will to protect him and those he is trying to protect. Likes: hearts, darkness and peaches Dislikes: humans, the man who hurt him, sleeping, daylight Fears: Caesar fears that he may not be able to use the shadows any longer, he fears that he may be captured and tortured again like he was before
Personality: Caesar has a seething hatred for humans and cannot stand to be near them, When he is surrounded by others that aren't human, he can still be guarded, but he has less of an urge to kill. When he is around those that are younger and do not mind themselves well,it reminds him of himself when he was younger and only makes him sound even more old and tired as he speaks. His tolerance for being around people seems to only be one person at a time, more than that and he can become increasingly uncomfortable and a little snappy.
Bio: Caesar was not born, he was created from the shadows. When he figured out how to use them to teleport, he escaped his prison(hell) and found himself among the humans. At first he was fascinated by them and he found that a lot of them were kind and trustworthy until he met the dark side of the human race.
Caesar had been tired from teleporting one night and had stopped to rest on the side if a road in some town where he later was given shelter by a young man who somehow knew more about Caesar than he himself did. Although the man was strange, Caesar accepted the place to stay and went sleep. Hours later he awoke in a room completely covered in lights, no shadows to be seen. To add to his panic, he was chained to the floor and was unable to escape. He was drugged, beaten, cut...treated like a slave who disobeyed his master's orders continually for 5 years.
One night, the man thought he was completely knocked out from the drugs and unchained him to move him to one of the chambers he used for his daily torture but was surprised when a furious and now free Caesar tackled him and began to hit him repeatedly, beating him to death as a result. Still filled with rage and blood lust, Caesar shoved his hand into the dead man's chest and ripped out his heart before eating it, believing that humans did not need a heart if they could act so vial and heartless as the man did. It became a habit of his ever since after every kill. He still, to this day has no idea who the man was or how he knew of him.

Another one of her flaws is that she has become too attached with the building since it was once her family's mansion so she never really leaves it. Secrets: She once had a crush on Lucius Teacher/Student: She is the Head Mistress Powers: Typical vampire abilities plus her own abilities she was given at birth which is the ability to see what a person or animal is doing or thinking through their own eyes. Likes: Her precious home, her students, staff, ambrosia wine and blood. Dislikes: blood of an animal, how much her home has aged, being unable to do her job properly, and relying on others too much Fears: Her greatest fear is losing her students, friends, family and most of all, her home. Personality: She can be rather cold and strict at times, while being a little too close, but has a good heart and cares about her staff and student body. Bio: Growing up in the Night family, Evangeline became an instant heir to not only being the head of the family, but to owning the town and the school that was created inside of her home. Those of the family were skeptical because it was often that the men of the family took over, but her grandfather saw potential in her, and as the head of the family, gave her the school. When she has proven herself worthy, she may have the town.
Why didn't her father have control you ask? Her father and mother died when she was younger by a reason that is still unknown to her today and her grandfather was the one that was left to raise her.

Teacher/Student: Blacksmithing Teacher Powers:Basic Werewolf abilities Likes: cats, treats, swords, taking his clothes off, and samurai stuff Dislikes: sneezing, ringing sounds, newspapers, lightening and whistles Fears: Being misjudged and treated poorly because of how he is Personality: Kiichiro, despite his moments of seriousness, is a laid-back kind of guy that is kind-hearted and old fashioned. He can be a little dense at times, but he only ever does what his heart tells him, even when he should be thinking more with his head. Bio: He grew up in a small village in Japan that preferred to stick to traditional times than to move to modern. His mother and father raised him, his family of wolves being seen as the protectors of the village. When he became of age, his parents encouraged him to explore the world more so he could gain more wisdom of how mother earth works. Eventually, he met Evangeline along the way and agreed to come to the school to give teaching a try. He tries to do his best, but sometimes he feels homesick and wishes to see his parents again soon.
