This was exactly why Uuni wasn't inclined to go wandering around, exploring. While some mortals might be interested in venturing deep into caves without light and the fear that they may never find their way back out, it was not her fortay.
The goddess squinted, looking upwards. Far above her, hundreds of feet, was the circular opening she'd entered from. The cliff walls were sharp, with a spattering of plant life, but oh so far away. Teleporting wasn't working, and safe for the bit she'd used to ensure a soft landing, now flight wasn't either.
It seemed once your feet touched the hard, rocky limestone ground, you were not leaving this place. Uuni frowned. This was really annoying.
The rocks had been carved out, probably a painstaking process, into designs of which Uuni couldn't recall seeing for a long time. She was no expert on all the religions to have passed by the lions in the world, but she knew a good deal. Not these. Perhaps they were an old, long-dead god's.
In that case, she was really screwed.
Or so she thought, until a rustling sound interrupted her pessimistic train of thought. The goddess froze, eyes straining into the dark part of the cavern, far enough in that she'd be just asking to get lost.
"Who's back there?"

Mychasi had found a rather nice cave to take a quick nap in while the sun had started to come up a while ago. Now, though, it seemed he was awake and not alone. A voice had crept back towards him that had woken him from his slumber. He yawned and must have kicked a rock while he was sleeping. He opened his eyes and looked about the cave, it was quite interesting really. He could see things he hadn't noticed when he had first come into the cave.
Of course, he had yet to realize he couldn't do anything, such as leave this area for who knew how long. "Do you always wake up those in caves, or is this a new occurrence?" He asked rather irritated at the fact someone had woken him. His eyes had left the weird carvings to find himself looking at a lioness. After taking it in a bit, he noticed that she wasn't just any lioness, but perhaps another god.
If it wasn't for the fact her mane wasn't full, he might had thought she was a male. He stood and slowly made his way to the lioness for, perhaps, a better look. She was bigger than him, but that was nothing new. Most gods and goddesses were bigger than him. He could see her almost as clear as day, but the cave was surely darker than most caves, perhaps.
He wore a frown upon his face, but it wasn't an unkind frown, if one were to actually know him well that is. He stopped at a good place just in case she wanted to start something. His attention went back to the weird carvings. "Those weren't there when I came here... "He muttered. Not that he had fully been paying attention when he came in. All he looked for was to make sure no one else was occupying a cave. It seemed this lioness didn't quite have the same curtsy.

It was a terrible vulnerability, knowing you could do absolutely nothing. Uuni tried teleporting to no avail.
Her eyes began to focus, and eventually she could make out his dim outline. The wings, clearly, distinguished him as a god, if his size would not. "It's on my to-do list every day," was her sardonic reply.
The fact that he hadn't attacked meant that he was not likely to, though if he had been locked in this cave for a long time, perhaps his mind had gone as well.
"Is this yours?" She wanted to say, 'Is this dingy, wet, gross s**t of a living space your home', but it was best not to make any gods unnecessarily angry. If this was his little trap. . . well. Well, she was just taking it up the rump now, wasn't she?

He watched her for a moment, unsure of what to make of this all. She didn't seem to want to be here, but why was she still here? He raised a brow, wanting to ask, but unable to for the moment. Curiosity on why she wasn't leaving was the last thing he really wanted to deal with. He continued to frown
. "Mine? The cave?" He started. "No, I just happened to stumble upon it before the sun had come up." Assuming it was still up, he didn't know. Sometimes he lost track of time when in a cave. "Why?" It was a curious thing, perhaps she felt bad in coming here, or she planned to try to take it from him.
"I mean, you can have it. I'm done with it for now, I think." He was still oblivious to the fact that he couldn't leave. He was still trying to be nice to the other, keeping it sweet and to the point. The faster he could get out of this conversation, the better it was to be.

You could have held up a mirror and the two gods would have discovered their faces were nearly identical. Uuni tilted her head and looked sidelong at this God of the Cave.
"Huh," she grunted in his direction. Thank god. It was an ugly, stupid cave in any case. Mostly because she had landed in it and now could not get out of it.
"Have it?" It was hard to keep the laughter from her voice. Okay, so she wasn't trying to keep the laughter from her voice at all. "I don't want a cave. Let alone this cave."
No, she wanted the heck out of this cave. Its dingy, wet bottom had already worn away the welcome to her soft padded feet.
"There's another way out, then?" It was hard to keep the hope from filtering into her voice. "Other than up." Which was as likely as her growing wings and flying away. It was funny because she couldn't use any powers? Get it? Yeah, it wasn't very funny at all. The situation wasn't funny.
By all the unholy gods mortals ever birthed in their twisted brains, this wasn't permanent was it? Uuni let out a groan of dismay.

"Then leave, I'm not stopping you." He said, now getting a bit irritated at the Goddess. Was she assuming he was trying to stop her from leaving? Nore could he understand why she wasn't just leaving. Females, you could never try to understand them, at least from his experiences.
"What's wrong with the entrance?" He asked giving her a sideways glance before moving towards the front of the cave. What was she playing at? It was simple to leave. Some sort of doubt was slowly crossing over him. She was just being silly. He was slightly catching on to what she was saying.
He moved towards the entrance, but something seemed to be blocking him. What the deuce.... "Okay, every funny...." He said as he looked back to the other. "You can stop now, seriously..." This was all just a trick, he knew it. Why would she want to do this? Then again, she wasn't the first goddess who had tricked him in such things. Though, not exactly like this. "Is this some sort of joke?"
His frown got bigger. "There isn't a way out towards the back." That he knew of, anyways. He didn't go all the way back there.

"Hells if I know," Uuni answered from behind him. The massive energy she put behind the roll of her eyes must have been tangible.
Was it some sort of. . .
Well, it was funny now. Uuni laughed at him, long, and bitter. "We're stuck in a damn shithole of a cave." The goddess felt okay saying it now. The god has shown himself to be as threatening as a mortal, and as useful as one too at this very moment.
"Can't fly, can't teleport, can't use magic at all." They'd have to find their way out of the cave like any mortal. The goddess squinted and peered off into the darkness.
"What do mortals do to find their way when they can't see?" Then again, Uuni had never known a mortal lion stupid enough to venture that far into a cave. There might be another exit far back in the crevices, or there could be nothing but dead ends and death.

He could see just fine, he didn't know what she was talking about. "I can see just fine." Though he was beginning to realize that they were both stuck, and it was probably a trap set by another god. Just what he needed. He frowned deeply. He wasn't the quickest mind, but he wasn't stupid either.
"Well, then use your feet and try to walk out." He suggested rather harshly. "or continue back there where it's a dead end" Or mostly a dead end. "I didn't look too carefully, but I didn't see away out there." He said honestly. He didn't care if he looked like an idiot to her, she seemed just as powerless as him in this place.
"Be my guest, in checking."

"Walking." Uuni spoke the word with derision.
The goddess looked from one side of the dimly lit area to the other. Going to a dead end in a dark cave had 'bad idea' written all over it.
"Your great idea is standing there until we starve to death?"
Gods these days. So helpful. Rather than head towards the dead end, Uuni moved further into the light and came to a stop where it lit the drawings carved into the wall.
Unsheathing a claw, she made an effort to deface the surface. Her nail ground down against the rock, but the cliff seemed no more harmed than when she had started.

Starving to death was a much better idea than being here with her, he figured. She was more of a pain than any god he had ever ran into. That was just his luck. How much more worse could it get?
Mychasi watched her carefully and shook his head. "I'm pretty sure who ever put this on here made sure that no one could get out of it with something as simple as ruining the spell, or curse, or whatever it is." He said. He suppose it wouldn't hurt to try though, and he gave her props for that, but secretly. He didn't want to give her too much credit.

"I stand corrected." His grand idea was not just standing it was stand and talking.
Blah, blah, blah. Uuni's ears flicked back, she rolled her eyes.
"Oh now it's a spell?" she deadpanned, drawing out the words with the bored disinterest in him that they started this fiasco with. Wow! What a discovery.
"You said you can see?" Uuni glanced over at him, a drop of water falling from the cavern's surface and hitting her distinctly on the head. She tried not to scowl too much. "Your eyes aren't that big." The 'curse' as this murky-pelted annoyance was so saying must not have affected passive powers.
Another look is casted down the dark cavern, and she clicks her tongue into the roof of her mouth. "Looks like we're walking."
