Sha said there weren't enough marshmallows. Trae sighed, rolled his eyes and allowed himself to be dragged down to the pantry. He didn't understand why two bags of the fluffy white food (of the gods) wasn't enough for both of them. But apparently Sha had his reasons.
Sha knew two bags weren't going to be enough if he was going to invite Hinote up to his dorm room so she could meet Trae. He'd have to do it on the sly of course. Trae being the absolutely ridiculous hermit that he was. It was allso a good opportunity to show Trae where the food supplies were kept, y'know just in case zombies or something.
"I can't reach the Mango juice, Sha." Trae said with a sigh in his voice. He liked that stuff.
"Grab a crate to stand on, my good man. And grab a few extras, we'll keep them in my room. I've a crate under my bed." Sha said with a grin.
Trae didn't find that very appetizing. Sha didn't have his exacting standards when it came to cleanliness. Not that he was messy per se. But still. He climbed up a crate to reach the Mango drink.

"Awwe, man," Hinote said. "I love that stuff."
She had come down to the pantry to refill her stock of mango juice, and grab a box of graham crackers for s'mores. When she rounded the corner, she saw an unfamiliar pinkish boy with a handful of bottles standing on a crate. It looked like there weren't many left.
Than she spotted Sha with an armful of marshmallows, and grinned. "Hey, Sha. I would ask what brings you here, but I think it's pretty obvious. Are there any of the super big ones left?"

Trae jumped. He almost dropped the bottles he was holding but managed to catch his balance and the bottles at the same time. He had not been expecting a feminine voice all of a sudden.
Sha grinned delightedly when he saw her. "Hey Hinote! Nah, some b***h nabbed the last bag. I was going to invite you up to my dorm the next time I saw you, but here you are! I wanted you to meet my best friend. Hey Trae, get down some bottles for Hinote too and then get your butt down here to meet my second best friend!"
Trae sighed. "Well then take a few of these from me, I can't hold them all!"
Sha rolled his eyes jokingly at Hinote then obeyed, "Yes princess."
Trae scowled at him and swatted at him before getting the rest of the mango drink off the shelf and hopping down from the crate. "I'm not a princess, Sha. Hello Hinote. Have you been keeping Sha in line here?"

"Not really. I mean, he won't listen any way, so what's the point?" Hinote grinned back at Sha.
"I took the last bag of the big ones last week; I thought more would have come in by now. Or, I was hoping, anyway. I don't have many left."
Hinote grabbed several boxes of graham crackers, and looked around for the chocolate bars.
"Shall we grab all the stuff for s'mores and move this get together elsewhere? I feel like Trae and I should get to know each other if we are shouldering the burden of being your first and second best friends. We can coordinate who is going to be your sitter."

A slow charming smile spread across Trae's face. Oh he liked her! She had Sha's number and wasn't afraid to joke about it! A stray laugh popped out of him. "I like her Sha. Permission to keep her granted."
Sha snorted! And grinned back, helpless to the power of Trae's rare grins. "Well good. Cause, you know, I don't listen and was gonna keep her anyway. And yeah let's move this shindig." He started piling stuff into a crate, not denying at all that he needed a sitter.
"So how does every other day sound to you, Hinote?" Trae asked with a fake serious face.

"Don't go too fast there, Trae - I have to agree to our custody terms before we're sure Ekaksha gets to keep me."
She joined Sha in packing the crate full of all things necessary for a proper s'more party - along with some extra drinks and a bag of chips in case it got to sweet for them.
"I think Trae's alright," she said quietly with a quick wink at Sha.
"Every other day seems reasonable, but you should know that on alternate weekends, my mom takes me back to her house. You'll have to take him than, unless you want me to find another nanny for him."
Hinote held open the door and checked, out of habit, for grown ups. The coast was clear.
"Let's move."

"Oh, full name there, Sha. What now?" Trae giggled with glee as Sha frowned and pouted.
"Yeah, he's usually a pretty cool dude once he stops being antisocial." Sha whispered back. "Hey pretty boy, get over here and help me carry this crate."
Said pretty boy's giggle became a scowl. "Shut up." But he moved to help anyway. "Hmm I don't know, can anyone else reaally handle him?"
"I'm awesome. I can handle a weekend by myself, what do you think I did before you two got here? Huh?" Sha asked as he and Trae moved the crate out of the pantry and out towards Sha's dorm room.
"Pined. Obviously." Said Trae smartly, and Sha had nothing he could say to refute it.

"In all honesty, I am surprised he survived by himself. He has mastered the fine art of foraging, though, as we can tell by the bounty laid before us. So maybe he will be able to last a day or two on his own? Afterwards we'll just have to be sure he is properly bathed and fattened up before the next lone weekend."
Hinote followed quickly after the boys, her arms full of her own loot.
"Unless we can find someone else trustworthy enough to take him on, but who else is going to be able to keep up with him?"
Hinote shot Sha a wide grin, to make sure he knew she was kidding. Sha was capable of taking care of himself of course - but making sure he didn't get into trouble was another story.

Sha groaned theatrically, while shooting her a wink (that looked like a blink). "Maaan why did I think it was a good idea for you two to meet?"
"Because it's in keeping with your quest to gain me a million friends?" Trae suggested.
"I did know you two'd get along well. I mean water based, and sailor suits?" He said pointing at each of them. "Besides, all girls like pink things." Trae's put upon expression instantly made him feel better from their teamed up teasing.

Hinote refrained from commenting at all on Trae's pinkness - his expression told her that Sha was the only one that got to hit that button without some kind of severe comeuppance.
"I hate this stupid thing," Hinote complained, plucking at the clothing her mom had picked out for her, "And Trae's not wearing a sailor suit. Oh, you meant we would get along because I was in the suit. But I guess we both have the water thing going on? I mean, I have about a cubic meter of this hair and the wave marks and all. What do you have for an item, Trae?"

"Well I meant that Trae's water based. Though I guess you do have wave marks." Sha said, thinking about it.
"Er, my mom gave me a condylactis anemone, which is one of those tentacle undersea creatures... It comes in a few colors, but she gave me a pink one."
"To his everlasting irritation." Sha said with a grin.
"I'm really used to it now, but it can get annoying yeah." Trae said with a resigned expression.

"Well, I have a blue oil lamp thing. Like the kind a genie would come in. But I'm also a water nymph, so it's kind of an odd mix, and least I think so. It's not something people notice right off the bat though, like your coloring and Sha's eye."
When they reached the hall lined with doors to the boys rooms, Hinote gave a careful look around. The last thing she wanted was a bunch of people wondering what she was doing on this side of the dorms with two boys and a crate full of contraband. Her mother would just love that if it got back to her.
"Let's be quick!"

"The badassery of my eye cannot be denied. Everyone has to stare at it." Sha said and grunted as he sped up his steps. "You'd think she's ashamed to be seen with us, Trae."
"With you maybe. From what I've heard you've a reputation as a scoundrel." Trae said and hurried to keep up while helping him with the crate. "Though Hinote, that sounds dificult to be two opposite elements. And not everyone assumes I'm water because I'm pink, usually it's being mistaken for a girl."

Hinote hovered outside of Sha's door, still nervous about being seen.
"Any normal person would be, Sha," Hinote said. "Or at least with you. Your reputation proceeds you, as ever."
Ugh, stupid knee sock falling down again. Blast this thing.
"I can see how that gets annoying, although I don't think the reverse happens to girls very much. Maybe you're voice will get really deep when you hit puberty and than you'll scare everyone that thinks so and it will serve them right."

Sha immediately started laughing. Trae in a bright pink dress, his hair curled and then suddenly! MAN VOICE! The very idea of Trae with a deep manly voice just killed him.
Trae gave him a look that said, "I know what you're thinking, you giant toddler." He sighed. "I can always hope, but I'm not going to count on it. Come on in. Just let Sha die laughing out here, it's not like his reputation will suffer."
