Note: The following RP post is for Charger to meet Peren's family and the herd. Though it is focused on Lore, Peren and Charger I have nothing against other family/herd joining in. It'll take place mostly in thread but be logged in guild and will be an OFFICIAL IC RP. :3  Morning had come and she'd woken next to his warm form as the winter morning sun peeked in to greet them. Hunger was quick to make itself apparent, after the charged night before she'd not eaten then and was paying for it now. So after relishing in each others presence as they allowed themselves to adjust to the waking world they set off to grab a quick breakfast to fuel their trip. Luckily it wasn't a long distance it turned out, a few miles she'd wandered from her home grounds how it felt like it was so long ago, she had to keep reminding herself it really was only last night.
Turning to him she smiled "Are you sure you want to do this? I would hate to think you felt pressured..." her eyes held a serious gaze. She wanted him to join, to be with her more than anything and it had been his idea after all. However she didn't want him to be doing something just for her, he had to want it too... she had no idea what it was like to be outside a herd and to be in this situation, hell everything seemed to be new in the last 24 hours!

 He stretched a hoof and flicked his tail. She seemed nervous to him. He understood but he also thought she shouldn't be. He had no intentions of making this anymore difficult that is was already going to be. "Yes I want to do this. What do you expect me to do? Wait out here for you to visit me when you have time? Ya no." He came up to nuzzle her face. "Ready?"

 Peren was definitely nervous, how would Charger react to her family? How would her family react to Charger? It had no baring on how she felt about him she knew that now, no matter how today went down she assured herself she'd stay with him and learn more of what it is to feel. There was still the niggling feeling in her mind thinking of all the possibilities but she was glad he was to ready, assured that he would do this and all for her.
As they walked she leaned over and gave him a quick nuzzle in return to show she was happy they where doing this "Yes, now we just have to locate my father then." So she led them to the part of the herd her father would hopeful be awake, doing something important or herd related, she hoped they wouldn't interrupt him. But this was important to her and the relationship blooming with Charger and after not too long she spotted the elder shape of her father and trotted over to him.

 Lore: -Walking around the perimeter of the Herd lands, talking briskly while he circles. This was the day he was teaching Rhiannon how to become a warrior. She was staying close to his heels while he explained the importance of keeping a good eye and helping any who might pass through their lands. He wasn't expecting to be interrupted, but when he spotted his daughter he smiled at her warmly.- Ah, Peren!  Rhiannon: -Her eyes shot up when she saw her cousin. Pricking her ears forward, she tried to make herself non-conspicuous. She didn't know her cousin all that well, though she had heard stories.- Peren. -She added with a slight incline of her head.-

Quickening her pace she lead Charger straight to her father and leaned in to greet him warmly "Good day Father, I hope I am not interrupting." Takes a deep breath "I have someone I would like you to meet" Looking towards her newly found mate she smiled "Charger, this is my Father, Father this is Charger... my mate." Phew that came out fast, she had expected to get tongue tied under the nervous thoughts that spiralled around her head. Instead she soaked Chargers courage and determination making the introduction just appear from her mouth.

Charger quietly watched as Peren lead him around to find Lore. The big pelted elder wasn't perhaps what he was expecting, since Peren was not pelted but it was what he got. He watched the male and the mare quietly from behind Peren. He wasn't sure if they hadn't noticed him, if they were ignoring him or perhaps it wasn't uncommon for members to have visitors. When Peren finally said his name he stepped forward to stand beside her, nod and smile. "Hello."

Lore: -He was a bit taken back by the sudden statement, but nonetheless, he smiled at his daughter and then looked toward the male as he stood next to Peren.- Ah, I see! So this is where you have been lately? -He teased with a chuckle.- Well, its nice to meet you Charger! -He lowered his head in a bow toward the male.- I am Lore, The Leader of the Sun here in the Moonlight Herd. And this is Rhiannon, Peren's cousin. -He motioned toward the purple cat-like female beside him.- I trust you will treat Peren well?
Rhiannon: -Mate? She chewed her lip subconsciously. How could her uncle be so calm and collected about Peren suddenly bringing home a mate without even talking to him about it? She frowned slightly but quickly wiped the expression away. She was required to be poised in such a situation, even if she wasn't very good at it.- A pleasure. -She tried to sound dainty, even if that was a hard task for her.-

Now the nerves where setting in as she had to keep herself from blurting out everything for Charger, he had to be the one to ask to join the herd after all. Thats how it worked? Honestly she wasn't sure she was born here and never went through the process she just knew her Father was a leader and they needed to see him. Lately, she mentally chuckled no she'd been finding herself reclusive for she had only met him last night, oh what a night.
Turning her attention to her cousin she decided to try and let the boys get on with whatever formal or manly things needed to be done or said. "Good day Rhiannon, always a pleasure to meet another relative." Then she bowed as respect called, she hadn't met this one yet but didn't find herself surprised.

Charger tipped his head lightly to the side and watched. Rhiannon's expressions were lightly amusing (at the back of his head he was wondering how many alcors were in this herd) and he was heartened that Lore was so nice and welcoming. "I plan to. I'm rather captivated by your daughter."

Lore: Ah, good to hear! -He shot a smile from Charger to Peren and back again.- So, what are your intentions with my daughter? Do the two of you plan to stay here or travel abroad? -It was a valid question, he thought so anyway.-
Rhiannon: -Looking toward her cousin, she gave a slight nod.- He is cute, at least. -She smirked slightly in a playful tone at Peren.-

Peren catches her father smile and continues to listen in whist giving the rest of her attention to her cousin, she was trying to act like she wasn't listening but she was. She did trust Charger but she really wanted to know how it went and well she was known for being a little nosey sometimes. In a whisper she leaned forward and chuckled "Is he not just handsome?" Leaning back she coughed "So Rhiannon what had you and my father out today?"

Charger smiled at the older male, he liked him already. "She wants to stay here with her family. I think I've been alone too long. I would like to learn herd life, perhaps even become a part when I'm more used to others around. I'm a little done with travel." He turned to smile at Peren. "I would like to spend much more time with her."

Lore: -Chuckles- Ah, good answer! -Smirks playfully.- Well, if Peren trusts you then I do too. You're more than welcome to stay here as long as both of you would like. I'm sure neither of my sisters would object. You're family now, and all family are welcome. -Grins happily knowing his daughter would stay.-
Rhiannon: -Nods slightly- He is. -She agrees and lets out a sigh for a moment before glancing back.- Ah well, not much. I'm in an apprenticeship to become a warrior. Your father was teaching me the Herd Lands and what it means to defend. I wish to protect our Herd to the best of my ability. -Blows some hair out of her face.-

Feeling a blush come to her face she tries her darnedest to keep her attention on Rhiannon, he was handsome, and he was saying nice things about her and... he was all hers that made her heart race with glee. "Wow, a warrior? If that is what you wish I am sure you will excel in your learning and flourish to become a great and noble warrior indeed!" The idea sounded entirely exciting but not really her cup of tea, then she had a pang of guilt for not really doing much for the herd... well aside from babysitting Ama but that didn't really count.

Charge grins happily along with Lore. "Than you sir. To be truthful I was worried this would be harder. Joining a herd and all. I'm thankful for the warm welcome." He turns his head to look at the girls. "Should we tell them the good news?"
