 Dhiren had made everything perfect. He had gotten two rabbits and some pretty flowers and set up a nice romantic dinner for two, so to speak. He normally didn't go out of his way to do this, but today was a special day. More special than finding new things for him to study. He was all shaky and nervous. He didn't know what to say, or where to start. He had told Aradia to meet him here, and he hoped she would.
He'd never asked anything like this before, and he didn't know how to ask it... but he was going to. He was determined. His stomach turned and he felt sick, but he knew he'd be okay. He paced back and forth and looked at his little rock that he had set everything up. It was perfect, yet he still messed with the flowers here and there... He wanted to make sure it stayed perfect.
Why was he so nervous?

 Aradia had no clue what Dhiren had planned. after all as of late they just been hanging together with their two new friends. plus she been trying to play miss matchmaker for the giggles. she was at the moment on her way to meet Dhiren and unlike him, she wasn't nervous at all. in her mind they were just going to hang out and maybe explore some new areas they had found together. though when she finally did arrive, she did start to get a bit nervous since it seemed Dhiren had set up something for the two of them. so for the moment she was completely speechless when she arrived.

Dhiren, at first, didn't notice that Aradia had arrived. He had been too busy pacing back and forth, then stopping, then fixing a flower or two then going back to pacing. Finally after the second time he stopped he saw her. "Ara.....Aradia." he didn't know how nervous he was until she actually showed up... His body shook a bit more..
"Umm....." he didn't know what to say and he was starting to feel like such a food. "Are you... Hungry?" His tail lashed about a bit... It was like he had no control over his body today... Why of all days... why?

Aradia could tell that Dhiren was nervous for some reason by they way he was pacing and shook. " sure." she gave a smile to him even though now she was just as nervous as he was. she really had no clue what was going on or why he had set up a little dinner for them."so... what is all of this? i can tell you went to a lot of trouble to do all of this." after getting near the little rock that he had all set up with the dinner, she sat down and hoped he would be less nervous since his nervousness was making her that way. plus it didn't help any that she didn't know exactly why Dhiren had done all of this.

"Ah..." he paused for a moment. "Right....So today, Miss, we have a lovely hare, and a side dish of the finest flowers." Of course he wasn't suggesting they'd eat the flowers, he just was trying to make it a little easier on them.
"Oh this? It's nothing, and no trouble at all. " Honestly, it had been easier to set up then this meeting was going. He had planned it all, and everything went smoothly in his head, but his mind and reality were becoming to very different things... He was messing it up, and he couldn't stop it.
He hadn't sat down yet, even though she had. Maybe she wanted something else? Maybe she didn't he didn't know. He couldn't ask not yet... "Right... Then.... How was your day." Simple conversation... Yes... that would get things okay. He finally walked to his side of the rock where he had his hare waiting for him. He took a deep breath.
He didn't want to come out and just ask her what he wanted to ask her, he had to wait for the right moment. Though, he wasn't sure he'd know when the right moment was yet.

Aradia couldn't help but giggle a little since she was so amused with how gentlemen like he was being for her. for the usually hyper Dhiren she found, she was kind of enjoying him trying to be a cute gentlemen. " it is all wonderful Dhiren." she now had a big smile on her face as she now forgot how nervous she had been just moments before. at the moment she felt like he was treating her like a princess. " my day was just fine. did you have a good day?" little did she know that Dhiren was working up to asking her a big question.

He wasn't sure how to answer that yet. He didn't think the questions would be put on to him. He really wasn't ready for questions. He gave a nervous smile and kinda just stared at her for a moment. His mind racing and he wasn't sure what to do. He must surely look like a fool. No worries, he had this like his mind had once told him. "oh... well... yes.... about that..." He started with another nervous chuckle.
"umm..... It's... It's good... I think. " He was more obvious than anything ever could be. "I...... love you." He said trying to be fast about it so she didn't hear him. "It was fantastic" he went as if he hadn't said the other part. Yes... She'd never notice he said something... At least it seemed as if it was going well enough that she wouldn't have heard it...

Aradia's eyes went wide when she just barely caught on to him saying that he loves her. her heart was racing and her mind went blank with what to say in return. with her silence and the look on her face it would be clear to Dhiren that she had heard his every word.she was caught very off guard as she had not expected him to suddenly do that even though she should of with the whole set up he had taken the time to get set up just right. ".....did you just really say you love me? cause.......i have to admit something to you but only if that is really what i heard you say."

Crap, so he wasn't as sneaky as he had thought, but she had heard. He felt like throwing up, but there was nothing to throw up, he hadn't even taken a bite out of his hare sitting in front of him. Not that he had the apatite to do it anyways. His heart was pounding against his chest, and for a second he thought it was going to pop out of his chest and run away. He felt like running, yet something she said caught is attention.
He wanted to know what she said, but he was afraid to admit what he had said. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes and nodded. "That's what I said." He was good with bugs, rocks, and even plants, but he wasn't good with this. He had planned it out all perfectly, but it was going far off the course he had originally thought it would.
"I love you." It wasn't easy to say, but he said it again, this time not covering it up with other words. He was so confused, and slightly pained. What if she rejected him? But she was always there for him since the moment he had come into the pride, she had been there. He opened his eyes and looked at her, though it was the hardest thing he had to do yet. His heart was pounding, and he was sure the world could hear it. His temperature was up, embarrassed, and nervous as he was.

Aradia couldn't help but smile when he said i love you again. it made it so much easier on her to be able to say those words to him now that she knew that he had the same feelings. " i love you too." there wasn't really anything else she needed to say back to him since she was not rejecting him. in her mind she could not see why she would reject his love when she had grown to love so much about him. " i'm not sure what else to say." blushing like crazy she didn't know what to do now that they had confessed to one another that they loved each other.

It, however, still wasn't easy on him. He felt panic rising up his throat, all the waiting that he couldn't stand. Even if it wasn't very long. Every second seemed like hours, minutes like days, hours like months. It was crazy how time was just holding as still as possible, or was it? He almost forgot to breath. At her words, his heart nearly stopped, some rush of joy and nervousness washed through him like a mass incoming wave of water.
He almost didn't understand what she said, but when he did it hit him. "What? Really?" He said shocked. "I mean.... wow.... I... I... thought you were going to reject me." he wasn't like most lions. His joy was reaching up now, and all he could do was move about. He couldn't sit no longer. He hopped to his legs and yelled "HOMG SHE LOVES ME"
He just wanted to run to tell everyone, he almost forgot that he was suppose to be having a dinner with her. One that he spent hours trying to make perfect, but still. His excitement was almost too much, then he tried to calm himself. He made his way back to where he had his hair, and sat down, though his paws seemed to wiggle or perhaps even shake in spot.

Aradia giggled at his mass excitement over the fact that she returned his feelings. " your too adorable to reject Dhiren. at lest that is how i feel and that is all the matters." blushing, she couldn't help it since even though their feelings were all in the open, she still felt overly excited and nervous all at once when thinking that now they would be together as mates. " how about we enjoy this lovely meal you took so much time preparing and then we can tell everyone we know." she went over to be closer to him since she wanted to be closer to him while they ate.

Dhiren wasn't sure he could eat now. Not that his nerves would have let him before, but he sat down and poked at his rabbit a bit before looking at the lioness before him. She was more beautiful than any lioness he could have ever seen. Of course, perhaps he was just being bias and it was because she was his world. He smiled at her and looked back at his meal. Once they were done, they could enjoy a more romantic walk, perhaps. Or something that would allow him to move around. Maybe him running off to tell everyone that he could if they wanted to hear it or not. It was a new start, something spectacular. Nothing would be the same again.
He picked up his rabbit and bit down with a low crunch. He would force his food down, and hoped it would stay down all night. He could feel things moving around in his belly, as if he had swallowed a ton of butterflies. Not that he would ever want to. He had tried to eat one once, they weren't that good despite how they looked. He swallowed and looked at her. "Wait until I tell Kujaku". He was excited. He wanted to go and tell him now, but he didn't want to leave Aradia behind.
He waited for her approval before leaving, he just wanted to bounce around with joy. He didn't know if he could contain it much longer. He was almost bouncing where he was sitting and was trying very hard not to get up and go. He smiled at her and looked down at his half eaten rabbit and took another bite. It was quite delicious and he believed he made a excellent choice. Though, next time he'd have to take more time in trying to catch a gazelle perhaps. Or even a zebra.samus x So I lied, two more posts and this can be finished. =D

it wasn't hard for Aradia to see that Dhiren was more than wanting to run about and tell everyone they knew that they were together now. since she was already done with her meal finally, she then playfully went to tug at his mane. " how about we go tell him and Auri. also we better tell my mother too." it was clear she was starting to get excited about telling friends and family that she now had settled down with wonderful Dhiren. giggling a bit, she was ready to get moving and telling everyone.

He was bouncing more with excitement, and he wasn't sure if she meant to tell them together, but before she could say more, he was already running towards the area he had last seen Kujaku. He didn't mean to be rude about it, he just couldn't help it. He wanted the world to know, and now it was going to happen. He was too happy. "SHE SAID YES" he was screaming as he moved faster than any lion could ever hope to move... Well perhaps, not that fast, but he felt like he was moving pretty fast.
