And it's still just as not fun as it was then. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay itself is fine (though I seem to have a disconnect on how to play it well). There are just a few factors that are a turnoff to the super casual players like myself. Like, the skill gap between the casuals and the people who are good at the game. I find that it's just too large to attract any kind of person other than the kind that plays just to get good at it. Now that by itself would be a small hurdle to overcome were it not for the extremely unfriendly community (that I've run into, experiences may vary). In the past fifteen games I've played I can count the number of friendly/helpful players I've met on less than one hand. Bottom line (again in my experience) unless you're grouping with three or four friends, don't play this game.

You're right... The community is just s**t. Just played 4 games with flaming allies, the last just threw it for me... Always complaining 'bout me and the others, while we had positive scores and he was feeding with 36 farm... For a 40 minute game, that's not even one creep a second. :')
Bottom line, play premade! xD

1) Everyone has bad games, doesn't mean you're doing it on purpose.
2) At the end of the game his score was worse than mine by like 3x.

rolleyes Who were you playing as? (Random question :p) About point 1, you're so right about that... Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, some people just don't seem to get it, it's so frustrating. sad My last game we had an Ashe, that was complaining aaaaaaall the time, I sucked because I died once, our Irelia sucked because she was 'trolling' according to this Ashe. Chiruro Who were you playing as? (Random question :p) About point 1, you're so right about that... Yeah I couldn't get into the game. I understand there are good and bad players in that game, but I just don't understand HOW. It's one character, who gets only a few spells, like there's very little mechanics from my point of view involved in the game, and it seems to come more from developing good combos, and following predetermined builds someone else has decided is the RIGHT way to play.

Ionno I get that same experience from SC2 team games, only SC2 feels like it has all those same game functions plus way more. Also LoL kind of has like the worst community ever.

Although I have been playing quite a bit these past few days since I'm off school for the next week and bored. The people I've been running into have been pretty cool for the most part. (:
But I'm with you, of the two games I like SC2 much better.

I had the same opinion you had in the beginning. But after playing it more I do see there is alot of timing involved in every move you make. Overall sc2 does require more thinking, so if you're having a not so smart day you could always play LoL. : p
