 Soubi: - At home with a roaring fire surrounded by the books that he loved dearly, and the fresh smell of herbal tea brewing over the fireplace, a high squeaking noise arose to signal it was ready, with a quick pour into his mug that sat on his desk he sniffed at the aroma that whisked through the air, he had grown bored over the this time in winter, his local book store had no new arrivals and he had grown alittle weary. He looked at his computer, which he rarely used as it gathered dust over the months of neglect- " hmm i suppose it couldnt hurt to look, i might find some good books "
- Dusting it down, he powered it up, and though soubi was usually smart the ways of a computer still baffled him, the site he ended up on was not one he would have gone on by choice and some how he was in a chat room, not knowing how to get out he typed in to ask for some help -
" Excuse me but i am alittle lost could some one here, perhaps offer me alittle technical assistance ? i have no idea how to close down this site i am currently on. Who use's this ? "
- as he waited for a reply he tried to work out what situation he had gotten himself into - " Well ... it couldnt hurt i say. Next time i wont take my advice. "

 He kept an eye on the tiny bowl in it's snug little blanket from over the top of his laptop. Usually he didn't spend much time in chat rooms, them mostly being filled with people trolling and trying to start arguments with who ever was gullible enough to rise to the bait. As he scrolled over looking for some one else, however, he found some one asking for help. "Did you try the back button on the browser?" It was a simple question. and the starts to possibly trouble shooting.

Soubi awaited a reply and suddenly one appeared, " back button..." mumbleing to himself he then route back a reply - ' thanks for the help however, i do not know what this back button looks like. browser? is that the internet. ' - soubi hated technology with a passion and it wasnt the fact he was stupid, it was the fact he was alone and isnt the one that uses this computer, if he was perhaps shown how to do thing in the first place he wouldnt sound so stupid to others, ' i am sorry i must seem rather stupid, to be honest i hate computers and never use them. All i wanted to do, was find a book to read or something, i am sure i will figure it out, so i thank you for you help.' - writing back once more to the stranger who offered him advice-

He litterally blinked at the screen. This guy's gotta be kidding me right?? he thought to himself before finishing reading the rest of the reply. Ah.. so not usually one for the computers.. ok.. let's see if we can help him out here.. Carefully he thought of how to word this. "Alright. at the top of this screen should be a bar with a link link should look like. www.chatconnect.com or something like that... behind that link should be an icon that looks like an arrow that points like.... <---- that. That's the back button. Click on that and it should take you out of this place Or you could simply type in a new link.. like perhaps www.googlie.com so you can search for what ever it is you're looking for. Good luck."

totally not expecting another reply, his computer Bleeped, 'another message, from that other person' - he bagan to read aloud "link at the top of my screen, ahh yes big white bar thingy " - he the double checks the message - " back button looks line .. and arrow, Oh well of course it does soubi, you complete idiot. well dont i seem like the total fool now. Googlie ? hmm " - Looking at his screen he attempts to put in the googlie link to see if he can get away from the site but not before mentions a word of thanks to this anonymous helper - " thank you for the assistance, i have located the back Button, but it appears that it is grey and wont let me click it. So i will try the googlie link thing and hope for the best, thank you once again " - and with that soubi attempted to put in the link and continue to search for his books, he awaited for the screen to re-load, sipping his tea on the proceess. he waited patiently for at least 10 minutes and had finished his cup of herbal tea " oh my god .. what is taking so long " soubi did the only the he knew how to do, he pressed the back button, and again appeared in the chat room, not knowing if the stranger would still be on at this time. - " hello if there is any one again who would be so kind as to give me some technical advice. I tried going on a link that leads to googlie, it didnt work and i waited 10 minutes for this thing to load. is there a direct way to get my book. i just want to read. Is this computer perhaps broken ? " - The way in which he typed seem alittle stressy and with a hint of annoyance, for computers 'supposedly' meant to be simple as his son 'Hagan' says, soubi seemed to be making a very 'Simple' Job seem like the Impossible -

Again he saw the plea for help and wondered just what the hold up was. Thinking he might know the issue, he took a bit to type up a full step by step trouble shoot for the guy. He wasn't a computed wiz having spent most of his life in the north before his life had shattered and sent him searching solitude in the south. Computers were something he only know how to do certain things on and by no means was he on the same level of a computer tech.
Sending the poor soul a private message, she gave a greeting and followed it which a block of text. The step by step trouble shooting he'd remembered not too long ago having to find himself. "No worries man.. I was in the same boat a month ago.. I finally broke down and got 'internet for dummies'.. and I'm still sure this thing can confuse me." He added at the end.

- not seeing a main reply on the local so called chat room, he began to get alittle down. he was never going to learn how to use this thing on his own. suddenly alittle screen popped up with a small message in it, reading it , he realized he wasnt the only one in the world that had this kind of trouble, he looked at the username who sent it and it was the same one who had tried to help him from before- " what is this little screen that this message is on now ? how did you make that happen ? i am sorry for being so much trouble for you." - looking at the message a book was mentioned 'internet for dummies ' - " Ah i have seen that book at my local store, i never thought to read it, i never use these things. It is far to cold out to travel there now, and it is probably Shut now. " -knowing is was coming up to the afternoon and the book store in the winter always closed at 2pm he would never have made it there in time to purchase it. Next time he is there he will have to remember to pick it up.-

"It's no real trouble." He reassured the other. Strangely he wasn't in as foul a mood as he might have thought. One evening after meeting that rather encourageable polar bear noodle he'd drunk himself stupid and the next thing he knew, he had a bowl that depended on him to be there. "Hopefully this trouble shooting guide helps though." Leaning back, he eyed the bowl as hit chimed and gave a small wiggle.

"a guide most helpful " - Soubi clicked on the guide and read it from start to finish, it didnt take him long he was a quick reader, and as he studied the carefully written words that were meant for those who found it hard to use computers, he bagan to understood just how easy it was, and how silly he had been, he put his paw to his face and rubbed it downwards in a tired emotionless way. about 15 minutes later after completing the book , i private message the strange - " thank you for the guild it was most helpful, i am still getting to grips with afew things but i have grasp the basic's thanks to you. I wouldnt be on this site it my son hadn't of left the internet up and closed it down like he should have. thanks again "
- a slight smile broke out on soubi's face, it was rare for him to smile ever unless he was around hagan. he shook his head and passed it off and finally being able to use the computer, however he wait for a reply from this person, but he didnt know why .. -

"You're welcome. Some times the internet and technology that comes with it can be a mind boggling thing. I'm sure my daughters will get it better than I have it once they're old enough." Her replied before once again studying the small bowl. Rubbing his forehead with his paw, he gave an irritated huff at the fact that he's been so stupefied by the amount of sake he'd drowned himself in that day that he'd managed to seduce.. or be seduced by the last female he'd ever even think of trying something on. Still there was the proof.. the living reminder that one must be careful what happens when drowning one's sorrows. He left the computer running, heading into the kitchen and opening a bottle with amber liquid. He hadn't taken so much as a drink since he'd realized what had happened. Yet here he stood bottle in his paw and as he thought to drink from it.. he moved and poured it's contents down the drain, not expecting anyone to reply.

-ears perked at the reply he recieved , why was he getting alittle happy over some text on a screen , maybe it was because it was his first actual coversation with an adult that he has had in weeks, he smiled as he read the mention of children, 'daughters' so he has two at least, assuming the other is even male it could be a female but it was unlikely, after all women dont call people mate. or so he would like to think. he found himself wanting to know slightly more about this stranger who has helped him out quite abit today, ' i wonder if i should message them back.. ask ... hmmm' again thinking aloud to himself as he quite often does. - " You have daughters? how old? may i ask. My son He is adopted, i found him abandoned as a kit and took him in as my own, he is already and adult getting into all sorts of trouble. God know what he is up to know, Worry is all i do these days. " - he thought maybe if he talked about his own child, then the other would maybe want to know more about him, Striking conversation is hard over the internet, He couldnt tell if the other wanted to talk or be left alone, for all he knew, he could just be annoying him.

As the Computer gave the tell tale 'ding' of an incoming message, he turned to see two things. The first Mari's bowl wiggle and wobble followed by a clattering of the magical bowl's chopsticks, and then the second, a new message clear as day on the screen. Shaking his head at the bowl, he made his way back to the computer, dropping the now very empty bottle in the trash. Sitting back down, he read the reply and arched a brow debating answering or not. Deciding to do so, he set to typing once more. "I have two. One who stays with her mother.... and the other stays with me both are still but in their bowl stage. You could say I'm a single Father." He replied, leaving it to sound as if it were perfectly natural for him to be so estranged from the other parent.

- learning of two children and him being a single parent soubi could very much relate, tho his son was a kit when he was found, he still raised him and it was hard, he had no time to himself and no partner to help him raise hagan, he learnt in time but still if he had the help or some advice he would have been alittle better off - " Two must be strange knowing you have another daughter far away, It isnt going to be easy being a single parent, but after they reach a certain age it gets easier i can assure you. I am sure you will be a fine father for your daughter ! being single isnt easy, but she will make all the noise for you, and if you prefer the quiet then if she gets to noisy, try what i do. make an extremely loud noise, then when you have there attention, pat there head and say that's enough now. that is about all i can offer, it worked on hagan, but he is rather simple minded, i mean that in the nicest way of course " - In hopes he wasnt talking to much he couldnt help wonder if the mother of his daughters, was a former partner or just a one off, things happen. he wasnt one to go out much, he gave alot up for his son, but that doesnt mean he regrets it, but maybe knowing some one else is alone out there with a child on there own Makes him feel more at ease that there is some one to relate to and he found someone to talk to about it, hopefully they could continue to chat alittle more-

"It's a little strange... Their mother is the strangest of all though.." Fluffy addicted bird brain, he added in his own head as he replied. "Their mother and I... we don't see eye to eye so it is best this way and if Mari wants to know her mother I will not stand in her way Like wise my other daughter knowing me." He'd been an expecting father once before.. long ago but those were memories better left in the dark depths of his tortured heart. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind though." He added so as not to seem too rude. Orabella's encounter with him had softened him slightly and even now he found father hood starting to soften him even more. The more he wanted to do nothing more than wrap himself up in his own self pity the more that tiny bowl seemed to dig herself further into his heart, thawing at it gingerly.

- while he waited an answer uncertain if he may have overstepped the mark, he began to tidy the house alittle, washing his cup up and make sure the fire was well stocked. then he herd the 'blep' ont he computer that signaled mail, he sort of rushed to the screen, stopped and paused for a moment... realizing how much he was acting like a child, he took a deep breath and pawed his face. reading he found that this male wasnt in a committed relationship, slightly feeling sorrow for him, soubi knew being the only person there for your child was not only lonly for the parent but lonely for the child. "Oh i see, as long as your there for your daughters, that is all you could ask for, in being a good parent. " - typing back, he didnt have much to say on the subject the children would have two parents it is just they are apart. not knowing what else to say on the matter at least he read his daugther name 'Mari' Is a pretty name thinking to himself- "Maybe one day when mari grows up she will come into contact with my son " - Though he knew it might not happen after all it is a big world out there. he knew about his children and he knew technically relationship status, what he didnt know was his name .. dare he ask ?
" I am sorry to ask and feel free to not tell me or just say no but could i ask your name ? Mine if you want to know, is Soubi. "
- not knowing what to expect as a reply, he began to regret sending the message, he couldnt take it back now , even is he pawed at the screen. Pushed his head against the computer he Mumbles 'soubi why did you ask '
