LOGGED RP - AFTER HIS ENCOUNTER WITH GINTARE

- Biisa was having a swell time running into lions of late. After meeting up with that dark female, Tare, he'd run into another attractive lioness. It must have had something to do with the surge of confidence he'd been feeling recently. Sure he was ultimately alone until he could find his mother, but that didn't really bother him as much as it had in the past. In fact, he'd become an adult out here in the rogue lands and had managed to survive, so it was not problem, right? His mane had grown in... he'd gained confidence... it was all good.
After meeting the pretty Votla he'd managed to find himself on the edge of the pridelands, which was another pride his mother spoke fondly of. He could tell because that large rock was in the distance! Pride Rock, a very obvious name. But he liked the simple name, it was charming. He heard there were many lions who lived in the lands, so it meant ample opportunity for more social interaction, which he was craving to no end.
He moved through the tall grass easily, though making sure he wasn't hidden or appearing suspicious. He didn't want to make any lion or lioness feel alert, after all.

- Perhaps one of the most unaware lions he could have run into was lounging not far off. He was feeling slightly mopey; Imre had insisted on some time alone. He hadn't been able to find any of the lovely females they'd been hanging around frequently, either. Slowly Atilla hoped that would change, hoped that the females might hang about more often. There was nothing he could really do about Imre, of course. Sometimes the dark male just enjoyed his solitude.
Not Atilla though, he was a social creature through and through and always began feeling antsy and needy when he was left to his own devices. Even with Mordecai, his hare familiar, forced to keep him company he felt lonely. He would have been asleep, too, while the brown male passed if it hadn't been for Mordecai. The rabbit had shoved at him several times with his hind feet, since Atilla was currently snuggling the unamused rabbit. Get off you big oaf! were the exact words Mord was shouting at Atilla, loud enough to draw attention to the odd pair.
- And so Biisa had heard the odd pair. His bright pink eyes immediately focussed in on a dusty pelted male who he at first thought was... trying to kill a hare in some strange manner. But as he kept watching he saw that that wasn't the case. Rather... it seemed more to Biisa like Mr. Coffee was hugging the thing! Didn't lions eat rabbits? What was this guy doing hugging one? Biisa needed to know!
So he started to walk towards the two, thinking over what to even ask. "Er, 'ey there." He called over, not far from them at all.
Atilla groaned when Biisa called out, suddenly dropping the rabbit and raising a paw to his eyes. "Mord! Tha' was no nice o' yeh! Yeh got me in the eye you cranky li'le moppet!" He was half laughing as he said the words, having already dropped the rabbit. Mordecai had ducked behind Asi when he heard the words of another approaching, pealing out from behind. Atilla playfully shoved the rabbit over with one of his large paws before directing his gaze back to whoever it was to greet them.
He grinned widely at the darker male, instantly liking him because of the little burst of blonde in the male's mane. Anything on a lion that reminded him of Imre was instant points in his books! "Aye, goo'morn." He said back, noticing that the male had stopped a bit away from him. He also noticed that the darker male had a funny look on his face, almost like he was confused. Why was he staring at Mordecai like that? Atilla raised a paw to scratch at the back of his head.
"Som'in the matter?" He asked cautiously.
He blinked in surprise as the coffee male started speaking to him, his accent even thicker and harder to understand. Biisa hadn't met many with such a weird way of talking; not even his mother had the same habit of speaking like he did. He became slightly embarrassed when the stranger asked him if something was the matter and cleared his throat.
"No it's jus' that..." He trailed off and finally raised a paw to point at the hare. "I don't believe I've e'er seen a lion 'ugging a rabbit before." There was no reason to skirt around the issue, was there?
Atilla blinked and then glanced down to Mordecai. "Y'mean this guy?" Well, he obviously meant Mord but... "Really?" He'd seen quite a few pridelanders around who had formed a special bond with prey beasts. So he couldn't hunt hares anymore... that wasn't such a big compromise, was it? "Er well... tha's cause Mord 'ere an' me be frien's." He nodded slowly, not noticing the hare rolling his eyes and shaking his head. "In any case I be Atilla, 'oo're you?"
How could you be friends with a rabbit? What a weird lion! Were all lions part of the priderock pride this odd? "Er... well okay, iffin yeh say so." He mumbled, still not convinced. He wondered if he could get some more information out of this Atilla character about being friends with your food. Was he one of those weird lions who didn't eat meat? Biisa had never met one... but he had heard stories of the weird creatures. It just seemed wrong to him, was all. "Yeh can call me Biisa. Oi listen, d'yeh know if I'm goin' the right way for the swamps?" If he couldn't get more information out of Mr. Coffee he could at least get pointed in the right direction, couldn't he?
"It be a pleasure teh meet ya, Biisa! This 'ere is Mordecai by the by. I like teh call'im Mord though, so yeh can if yeh wanna as well." Atilla grinned at the other, ears perked and alert as he asked about the swamps. Atilla hadn't ever been to the swamplands that he could remember. "Er... maybe.." He didn't like saying no to people though so he just sort of gestured in a random direction. "Be abou' tha... area..." He cleared his throat. Well actually, wouldn't be worse to get the other lion lost?
His ears lowered slightly. "Er ackshly I do no' know where the swamps be." But he wanted to be helpful! "Bu' I do think tha' o'er lions in these parts woul' know tha' sort of information." His smile was back on his maw.
He didn't want to call the rabbit anything but food but he thought that probably wasn't the best way to keep the coffee colored lion being friendly. "Er... sure." He said slowly, still unsure of the pair.
When Atilla gestured seemingly in a random direction a skeptical look appeared on Biisa's face. Was that really where the swamps were? But then the lion admitted to not know. "Oh." He sounded a little disappointed, to be honest. But if another lion knew where it was... "Yeh, ar'igh, well then I think I'm jus' gunna go lookin an' see iffin someone else knows." He bowed his head a little as the other shrugged and said goodbye. He moved off on his search for information.
