The sun was just starting to set over the distant waterline, casting a reddish orange glow over the ever lapping waves surrounding Sidekick Academy. You were off minding your own business, doing whatever you normally do during your spare time in the evenings; be that studying, grabbing a bite to eat, hanging out with some friends or running around campus. However, your leisure time was abruptly interrupted as the Academy's warning sirens began blaring to a near deafening level! You had never actually heard the security system go off, although you were well versed in what to do in case of an emergency. While most students immediately retreated to their dorm rooms or began to file into the auditorium like you were always instructed to in case of this sort of situation, you and a few other like-minded individuals headed off in the exact opposite direction. After all, what were heroes, (or heroes in training...) for? Determined to find out what was going on for yourselves without waiting around with everyone else like sheep, you unite and your small group stops momentarily to consider the best course of action. Where do you and your companions decide to head off to next?
1) Everything looks completely chaotic- it doesn't seem likely to you that anyone knows what's going on. You figure it would be a waste of time to depend on anything other than your own pair of eyes, opting to search around campus for the source of the disturbance yourself. If you could find somewhere high and get to a better vantage point, maybe you could scope out whatever was going on.
2) It made the most sense to head on over to Sidekick Academy's headquarters and try to see if there was any official explanation there. After all, if anyone knew what was going on, it would be the Founders and the full fledged heroes, right? If you worked quickly, perhaps you could arrive there before any other students, getting a one up on them and potentially impressing your mentors...!
3) You spot one of the Academy's teachers, Doppelgang, speaking to a group of students in a frenzy. Waving his arms around wildly as he spoke, it seemed like the kids surrounding him were focused intensely on his words. You suggest heading over to see if the shape shifter had any useful information, seeing as he's the only adult anyone can seem to find at the moment.
Feel free to rp your characters meeting and grouping up however you see fit, but don't forget to make your decision before the next bit is posted! The next set of options will be posted on the 14th, roughly around this time. Have your votes in by then~ Remember to make your character's choice clear and in bold, using the number listed above somewhere in your post! If you do not, your vote won't be counted.

Argo was chowing down on 12 foot long hoagie (don't ask) with hot chocolate and a chocolate bar in his pocket for a snack. He was almost finished with his hoagie when there was an up roar up ahead. Students of SA gathered around and Argo was wondering what was happening. They were filing into the auditorium and Argo scoffed. No way was he going in there. People are panicking and if people get scared enough to turn into a stampede, people were going to get hurt.
Argo turned into the other direction, knowing he wasn't going to get answers that way. Argo decided to go to SA HQ. There is where he knew he'll get answers. They have monitors, stats, plus the founding Heros found it. Argo started wallking, smiling as he went, and soon saw Tabby, Napoleon, and Danica.
He yelled out to them. "Hey guys!" He yelled in a whisper, so he's to not attract attention. "Where are you heading?"
((Alrighty guys. I started off. How do you want to do posting? I like posting order. And if you guys agree, should we post in the order like it is on the first post...? OR we do the order of posting as we go? Like Me, then whoevers next, etc. Also I reply faster by quoting. Sorry for the whole lot of questions.))

Nap was eying the chocolate bar in his hands suspiciously. He knew he shouldn't eat it. He knew that it, like many of the things humans generally ate, would turn his insides into a painful twisted mess in a matter of minutes. Still, the temptation to just take a taste was there.
The blaring alarms startled a shriek out of the currently tanned young man. He bolted in the direction of the nearest cover and skidded to a halt as he almost ran into a couple other students. He recognized Tabby and Danica but before he could say or ask them anything Argo was upon them.
"I... I don't know." Nap's initial panic subsided a bit at the sight of another Nova student. Hadn't they been taught what to do? As ridiculous as Nap thought the lessons were a few things had at least stuck in his head over the last year. "Should we see what's going on?" He asked more directly of Argo, though he cast his blue gaze to include Dani and Tabby.
((It's his initial choice but he can be swayed to whatever the group wants to do. I prefer posting orders in first come first served but if things bend a little bit it's not going to bother me at all.)) You're all welcome to quote me as well.))

By the time you managed to reach Sidekick Academy's headquarters, there was already quite a crowd of students gathered around the entrance. The buzz of their confused, frightened and otherwise excited conversation was almost loud enough to drown out the alarm still wailing throughout the school grounds. Before long a very familiar face popped out from behind the sliding door, red billowing cape trailing behind his impressive figure. The Captain, main man of the Founders and every little boy's favourite hero, stepped outside and lifted a large hand to calm the crowd of students he stood before. It didn't do much help, considering the siren continued to screech in the background, but the children obeyed nonetheless. "You really all should have gone back to your dorm rooms or the auditorium," he began, rubbing the back of his head lightly. In the windows behind him, you could see many of the Academy's staff members scampering around, a few in an obviously heated debate. "I know you all just want to help, but we can't risk putting any students in danger, y'know? So I'm just going to have to repeat that you get yourselves somewhere safe." He paused for a moment, struggling with the several dozens of wide, expectant eyes locked on him. "Don't worry, this is all just one big misunderstanding- remember the crash last year with the alien students from Nova Academy? It seems like our messages finally reached their home planets, but a tad fractured... It'll be dealt with in no time!" Flashing one of his famous toothy grins and a thumbs up, the Captain bid a brief farewell, once more instructing everyone to get indoors before slipping back into Sidekick Academy's HQ.
1) You were not going to just pack up and quit so easily, even if one of the Founders had told you to. You really, really wanted to help. You were ready! You could do this! It was your time to shine, to prove yourself- you were a hero, after all! The crowd before SA's headquarters slowly dispersed, leaving only you and your comrades. You tell your friends that you want to march right on over to the sliding glass door, then proceed to knock and bang on it until someone answers and lets you help out. Might not have been the most graceful of tactics, but you were positive there was something you could do to help out.
2) A misunderstanding, huh? Well, you were confident enough that you could handle that much. You suggest to your friends that you disobey your superiors and sneak off campus, instead opting to locate the aliens and explain the situation in person. Who else better than a bright eyed young student that attended school with their alien offspring? It didn't seem like the adults were doing anything proactive anyway, so you might as well take matters into your own hands!
3) The man has spoken! Capt told you to get indoors, so you were going to get indoors- you couldn't ignore a direct order from the bossman. You suggest that your group heads over to the auditorium- it was on the opposite side of campus, and you weren't exactly feeling up to walking it alone. The school grounds were eerily empty, as most students were already safely tucked away indoors. Hopefully soon you would be too...

Argo looked around and saw the teachers panic. "A misunderstanding?" Argo turned towards Tabby, Danica (wide birth, don't need to mix his molecules up), and Napoleon but mostly stared at Napoleon. "What if they come here to harm our new friends, Napoleon? The teachers don't know what they are capable of if things go south from here and our one teacher probably can't handle it all by themself. We have to go and try to help." Argo was excited to see these Aliens but he didn't want them nor his new SA friends to get hurt. He wants to at least be there to support the teachers and when worst comes to worst, he will have to try to fight them and knock them out. He then looked at everyone and made sure they got a vote. "What do you guys think?" ((Quoting so you guys know that the option is up and you can choose, making sure everyone gets a chance))

It didn't seem like the adults were doing anything proactive anyway, so you might as well take matters into your own hands! Napoleon had lit up at Captain's words. Aliens! From their home planets! Or at least from Nova Academy! "We need to find them." Nap agreed. The bit about a misunderstanding slipped right by him as his excitement grew. There could only be one reason to come to Earth. They were here to retrieve the Nova students and get them back where they belonged! He had come from a planet where strangers with different physical attributes were frequent...but never had he seen one species that mutated so vastly among it's own number. It was straight up weird. The difference in society had left him feeling horribly lonely, despite the efforts of a few he could potentially call friends. He'd gotten used to humans for the most part... at least, he didn't fear them for the same reasons anymore. This is what he'd been waiting for though! For their ship to be repaired, or a rescue party to arrive.

Perhaps it was because you and your comrades didn't make too much of an effort to conceal yourselves if at all, but it wasn't long before you were having a stare down with a strange-looking alien some distance away. It appeared to be female, and she was purple from head to toe. She blinked her lone indigo eye slowly as if studying you just as hard as you were her, but remained silent. Although some sort of gun was strapped to her waist, she made no move for it. What do you do?
1) You ask your friends if trying to greet the alien from where you stood was a smart idea. You weren't sure if she could understand your languages, but body language was all you needed! You wanted to extend some sort of friendly gesture like waving, to show the alien that you meant no harm.
2) You were heroes. You got this! You confidentially tell your friends that your small group could easily overpower the alien, and that on the count of three they should all charge. She probably had lots of answers that the Academy needed answers to.
3) You think that she didn't look very threatening at all. You vote that your team slowly approaches her, and perhaps offer up a friendly handshake or something!
4) IF SOMEONE HAS A CHOCOLATE BAR, you hold it out meekly as a peace offering to the alien. You're not sure if they know what the sweet snack is, but you're certain it looks harmless enough!
Don't forget to make your decision before the next bit is posted! The next set of options will be posted on the 20th, roughly around 3am. Argo looked at the female and stared in shock. All the alien's he ever knew were his friends that had crash landed here. On instinct alone, Argo pulled out his chocolate bar...and whined. He knew that it should be made as a peace offering but at the same time....his snack. Argo shook his head and looked at his team. "What do you guys think?"

"What? Give it to her?" Nap offered his own chocolate bar to Argo. "If you think it'd work... I can't eat it." The way she just stood there and stared unnerved Napoleon. His excitement at seeing other aliens had dimmed at her less than warm welcome.

((NP. Let me add a little bit of RP in here.)) Argo tucked his bar in and pat Napoleon on the back and whispered. "Hey. It's alright man. She's just standing there and staring. It's weird, I know. But she looks like she could be friendly." Argo nudged him a little forward. "Go on man. I'm here at the ready if anything happens. I got your back"

"Me?!" Nap's voice broke. Well if she was an alien she should be friendly to them. Not that she'd realize he was an alien with his hologram on. Unnoticable beneath the projected tan skin and blond hair of a human boy, Nap's own pink body looked like polished marble as his natural defense mechanism kicked in.
He took the chocolate bar in one hand and approached the purple woman slowly. He couldn't think of anything to say so he just held his breath as he presented the 'gift' to her.

The female continues to stare at you, lone pupil flickering down briefly at the offering of chocolate in your hands. To your utter surprise, she opens her mouth to speak. "You two..." Trailing off, she struggled visibly with her English and pointed at the males. "Nova...?" The purple alien looked unsure, but took a few hesitant steps towards your group. Soon it becomes painfully clear that her English skills are less than stellar, and you can't communicate very well- including explaining what had happened with the stranded Nova Academy ship. With your limited range of communication, what message does your group try to get across to the passive alien?
1) You tell the alien you'll take her back to Sidekick Academy, where you're certain someone more suitable can help her out. You're sure they probably had some fancy translators or something.
2) You suggest telling the alien to lead you to someone who could understand English- there must have been others in her 'rescue' team, right? Maybe you could help explain the confusion!
Don't forget to make your decision before the next bit is posted! The next set of options will be posted on the 25th, roughly around 4am. Sidekick Academy probably has something good with some sort of translator. Argo tried his best to reach out to the women and tried to make her understand that everyone is friendly. Argo pointed at himself then to her. "Friends. " Then Argo pointed to the Academy and to himself. "Friends." He then pointed to her to him and then the Academy. "Friends." He then pointed to Sidekick Academy. "Help. Translate."
