Ryo-Ohki bounced down the path happily. The carrot she carried with her was dangling from her mouth dancing to its own rhythm. The damped smell of the earth was pleasant after the cold rain that had just drenched the land. Dreaming of a feast of orange gems she barely noticed that there was a light mist on the ground. With a quick hop to the left she avoided a puddle. It wasnt that she was worried about getting dirty or anything even remotely close to that, rather she just liked to hop around the puddles. It was a personal challenge the Ryo-Ohki had posed to herself earlier in the morning. Her short tail twitched shaking off several large drops. Her ears could hear the small music of the drops falling from the leaves in the trees on either side of the path. Enjoying the private symphony she hummed along with it feeling free and happy.
Perhaps shed come to a human village soon. If that happened she would probably find more carrots. Then shed eat a bunch of them; maybe a whole basket full. The idea made her stomach growl even though she had already grazed this morning. Glancing at the sky she wasnt sure if it was going to start raining again, but if it did she hoped it would be warmer than the last one.
