Hey guys, Captain Liv here~
Since a lot of us are busy nowadays, I thought I'd put up a thread where members can leave notes for everyone, and give updates on how they've been and what they've been up to. Kind of like how I'd leave updates way back when I was in the Police Academy, I thought I'd make another thread similar to that. That one was just for me of course, but this one can be for everyone.
If you've been away for a while, or you're not able to be around regularly, etc., you can leave update messages here for all the other members to see. I think this'll be nice for everyone to know what everyone else is up to, how they're doing, and the like.
This thread won't really be a conversation thread, but of course people can discuss a little together what they've been up to and stuff. I just don't want it to turn into like a second Common Room, so keep random chat to a minimum.

Okay, first update from me:
I got a new job at Petsmart! Whoo~ I really like it so far. I'm being cross-trained as a Cashier and a Petcare Associate. I'm hoping that I'll get more shifts as a Pet Care associate, and I think that's where I'm wanted more because of my experience, but we'll see what happens.
This weekend I've been working/training as a cashier. It's not too bad, once I get to know all the more complicated transactions like returns and exchanges. But I get to start training with Petcare on Monday, so yay~
Also, Tim will be here from the 13th-6th.

I thought people were gonna use this thread, but I guess not.
Anyway, Tim got a job down here. He goes back to PA on Sunday, Jan. 6th, and then he'll be back to start his job at the end of January or the beginning of February. Not really sure what that'll mean for me spending time in guild, but I'm going to say it's more likely that I won't be around.

I'm about to start my sophomore year of college, trying to figure out what my major will be, biology or environmental biology. Just got done with an eye-opening internship at a field research station.

I've finally graduated from college, and will be moving to work in EA's Mobile division, for a year or so! c:
Seeing as how college required to me to stay in after school every day and come in on weekends- though it wasn't too bad with super awesome classmates- Gaia's been touched like maybe 4 times in the past 3 years. Shifting interests and priorities... I miss the guild though, so I'm hoping to be able to pop on a little more often now.

Uhmmm I met Liv, Jez and Lavi in real life this year, which is pretty cool! Kiah is still too Minnesotan for me to meet in real life! I'm also about to move to the UK to start my Masters degree.

Life takes you on some pretty strange twists and turns Some of them good and some of them bad, Some turns you come right out of and others you stay in for what feels like forever. My twists and turns have turned me into a man that feels like you guys would be so ashamed of the choices I've made and the paths I've chosen, but...I don't even know who all is going to see this and I don't mind if you've all forgotten me, sometimes it's for the better. But for anyone that does see this: I would love to catch up.

I don't know if anyone will see this or anyone that remembers me will see it. I finally went back to school and finished university. Got a job with the government that pays well. No, more shitty call center jobs for me.

Aww I love seeing everyone's updates over the years! Thank you for the support; I hope you're all still doing well, and that things have picked up for you, Domo!
And I'm super happy to you hear you finally got a decent job you like, balmik! heart
I don't have any big updates myself; I've switched specific jobs since, but I'm still working in games and having a pretty good time. I've started posting art online (albeit infrequently) the last few years and that's my biggest social media presence, but my online handle is "cuttlebirb" on tumblr, bsky and twitter if anyone's interested. (I post primarily cutesy fanart, so if you look me up and spot some sparkly pink anime girl art-- that's the right account! haha!)

Well it was wild coming here and seeing some updates from 2023...unexpected.
I'm married and have a 6-month old son. Wild times!
Jiyori is probably the only one who knows this already since we're friends on Facebook.
The nostalgia is real looking through all this....
