The bruise Hypnos had received from Zippeite had healed fast, which was a fact that a young girl could appreciate. Time and time again she had been told that her face as very important and that she should protect it but she had gotten it injured so carelessly. She'd be more careful this time but it wasn't going to prevent her from powering up and looking for chaos energy signals.
To be honest she was looking for youma more than she was a person so when she turned a corner and ran into a person with an energy signal she let out a little gasp, her hands covering her face. She wasn't sure if she could do this! Last time she had met someone who felt similiar to this woman she'd gotten smacked in the face without any prompt. She wanted to know answers to her questions though, and she recalled Sassolite commanding them a year ago. If anyone knew about them, surely it was them?
"Um... excuse me?" She called very carefully.

Well what did we have here? It felt like an Order power signiture, that's why Xenotime had stuck around, waiting for it to come to her, but she was not expecting what she saw coming around the corner. "You're a kid." Confusion, and a touch of frustration. What the ********? As of yet, the lieutenant hadn't encountered, nor heard of the child soldiers on the White Moon, so the look she gave the little girl now standing before her, face covered, was nothing shy of baffled. She even glanced up and over the little girls shoulder, as if she expected to find the true source of the aura she was sensing behind her. Of course nothing was there, and the lieutenant turned her eyes back down to the little girl in front of her. "Wait.. You're a senshi?" Leather covered fists rose up to brace against her hips. "You're what, ten? What the hell are you doing being a part of this war?" Seriously Serenity? You're recruiting kids? What the hell, dude?

Hypnos shouldn't have been surprised that Xenotime looked confused but her response threw her for a loop. This was something she'd heard before from other Negaverse soldiers but she'd never given it all that much thought. She didn't view it as a war but that was because she didn't see a lot of the truly gruesome aspects of it. She'd witnessed a lot of battles and a lot of death but a lot of it was from Elysion when everyone had been forced into an area together.
"I am 12, I am not a kid," she said with a pout. Okay, maybe she wasn't twelve but she would be in a couple months!
"I am helping," she said frankly, looking back and forth uneasily. "I am trying to... at least. I am trying to find a youma, can you help me?" It sounded like she was looking for a fight when she asked a question like that, which was a bad thing to imply when you were standing near a Negaverse lieutenant.

Xenotime rolled her eyes. "You are a kid," She insisted, impatience clear in her voice. "Maybe not a normal kid." She gestured towards the girl's fuku, lip giving a slight curl. "But you're still a kid." It was an odd position the lieutenant found herself in. Here, right in front of her, was a member of the White moon, her enemy. Quite possibly one that would prove easy to do away with, yet thus far, Xenotime hadn't lifted a finger towards her. Generally speaking, she wasn't of the mind set to talk first, fight later, but she just wasn't entirely sure what to do. The soldier in her spoke of an easy win, but the teen side was recalling another kid whom she had recently met and defended from a band of bullies. Moral issues didn't usually trouble Xenotime, but tonight was the exception. "Helping.." She repeated, staring down at the kid. "By finding a-" she blinked, brows dipping. "Why are you looking for a youma?" Her hands replaced themselves at her hips, weight shifting to one side. "And for that matter, who are you?" Appeal Sorry for the delay! I've been working a bunch and really sick. x.x

"I am most definitely not a child!" She uttered more shyly under her breath. She'd already protested but she really didn't like being called a child even if she technically was still a child. The conversation had moved forward from it at this point, leaving Hypnos to kick her bunny slippers into the ground in a measly attempt to show her objection.
"I... I am looking for a youma so I can help it!" She said firmly. It was actually true in a way. Everyone wanted to kill the youma but if she could get a hold of them, study them and find the best solution then they wouldn't need to be hunted and killed anymore! And then maybe they wouldn't prowl around Destiny City eating people too.
"My name is Hypnos, and I am the Senshi of Sleep!"

Having already rolled her eyes at Hypnos' insistence of not being a child, Xenotime merely shrugged and let the whole thing go. They could have argued the point til dawn, but that would have been extremely pointless. "Help it." It wasn't exactly a question. "Why do you want to help monsters?" Youmas were a tool of the negaverse, and make no mistake, they were monsters. As a Senshi, shouldn't this girl's main priority be to eliminate the youma? Apparently not. It did raise an interesting question though. "How exactly are you going to help a monster whom's primary motive would be to rend you apart, bit by adorable bit?" Yes, Hypnos was adorable, there really wasn't any getting around that. It didn't make a whole lot of difference in the grande scheme of things, she was still an enemy. Child or not. The thought stole a little of the happiness from Xeno's smile, and she had to wonder again why this senshi was standing before her untouched. She'd never hesitated before.

Hypnos listened carefully, taking a deep breath before finally she spoke.
"Whose to say that they should just be monsters? From their prospective, perhaps we are the monsters. The term monster is simply a way to describe something we do not understand, or frightens us. Just because we don't understand it, it doesn't make it beyond saving!" Big words for a small body, but Hypnos took pride in the words she spoke. If there was one thing she was capable of it was that. "No everyone believes what I believe but I don't believe anything is solved with violence. The youma are wild, they don't belong here. Their presence here only causes trouble to the people of the city. Senshi kill them to protect people but that is a temporary solution that ends pain with pain."
The topic had been a bit stressful for Hypnos, her lips pouting with a quiver as she tried not to cry. She had said this so many times but no one sided with her. It was hard to fight a war that no one else believed mattered.
"I have magic that can render them easier to handle, and a net to carefully escort them into a crate." She said meekly, she hadn't had too much practice with it to be honest. She liked to think she'd be doing something good and that it would be similiar to how one would assist a lion, tiger or bear. She knew it was dangerous work but she believed the outcome would be worth it.

"That's what they are, what they're summoned to be." She scoffed, arms folding tightly. "They aren't like normal creatures, there's nothing else in their heads." The sooner Hypnos got that through her cute little head, the better. "They aren't living, they don't feel pain." But again, why did Xenotime care? She had to get out of here. "This is all moot, cause I don't have a youma, nor do I know how to find them." She began to step back, turning as if she meant to walk away. "You're going to get yourself hurt, or killed, if you keep up this noble idea of your's." She made a rough sound, not quite a laugh. "Not that I should care." One last hard look was directed at the girl before she turned in earnest and began walking away. "If you get yourself killed it'll be less work for me down the road." She lifted a hand and waved it over her shoulder. "Goodbye Hypnos." She would have loved to tell the kid to hang up her fuku and get out of this war, but Hypnos was stubborn. She wouldn't listen.

Hypnos didn't like what she heard, and she didn't agree with it at all. Disappointment on her face, she stood in silence as Xenotime as continued with words that she didn't agree with. They had to be living! She didn't understand the concept of them being anything but that at all. Sure, she understood they weren't normal creatures like lions, tigers and bears but it didn't mean they should be treated like monsters!
"I can't die," she replied stubbornly. It wasn't cocky like she thought she was all powerful but instead that she couldn't allow herself to. She had too much to do and dying would simply ruin it all. Plus, how scary was dying? Quite! She tried not to think too much about the lieutenant's words before she found herself crying over the thought of death.
"Goodbye," she said softly. She had said they didn't know where any youma were, and Hypnos believed her. She had no doubts in the words people told her and that meant she had to go find youma again. It shouldn't be too hard right? She just had to listen to the sound of someone screaming. Until then Hypnos would look on her own and she'd start right now, walking away from Xenotime until she could no longer see her.
