Kisi was feeling a little blue. Though she had made a friend in Kaimu, the male had eventually needed to head off on his own to find his father in the pride lands. She had intended on going with him, but obligations had kept her from following through. She couldn't look after her wounded owl friend and go on an adventure at the same time, after all. So their plans had fallen through and they had to part ways, which she found particularly distressing.
She wasn't very good at making friends, so it was sad she had to lose the one she had managed to make.
Sighing heavily, she sat in the middle of a large clearing in the rogue lands, the weather having taken a sullen turn for the rainy. It seemed to be raining just to match her mood, making the whole area gloomy. She didn't care- she was sulking. If she wanted to sit in the rain and pout, she was going to.

 The rainy day was just a tad depressing for another individual as well. Blue fur was sopping wet and its normal thick fluffiness was lost, the flowers around his neck drooping. It was about time he got new ones, but it was doubtful he'd find any in this sort of weather. It wasn't horrible, but not really comfortable.
Forging forward, his eyes on where his paws were going, Ryuuko never noticed the stranger until he was quit close. Coming to a stop, he blinked at her in surprise and confusion, noting that she was just as wet as he was, but unlike him she was not making for shelter.
"Um.... Excuse me? Are you okay?" The blue male said, his voice young, but weary at the same time, kind and warm despite the weather. If she was hurt, well, it was a good thing he had come along. He might speak modestly of his skills, but he still thought of himself as one of the better creatures to have around when healing was needed.

Kisi’s ear flicked water everywhere as they raised up from off her head, her bright purple eyes looking directly at the male who had somehow appeared in front of her. She hadn’t been paying attention- and he could have attacked her if he had been less of a lion. It seemed like he wasn’t interested in attacking her, which she was thankful for. How stupid she had been to let herself space out! Wait, when had it started raining? “Oh… I… sorry… I was just thinking, and I guess I got a little caught up in it… um… are you looking to get out of the rain?” She asked softly, still feeling a little embarrassed with herself, “I have a cave not too far from here… it should be big enough for the both of us.” She was still a little out of it, though she tried to offer him a warm smile.

Ryuu perked up at the mention of getting out of the rain, then drooped again as he gave her a sheepish look.
"Its kind of you to offer, but you really don't need to... You hardly know me, and I've been through worse, I suppose. I just... wanted to make sure you weren't hurt." He said softly, a smile offered to her through the rain. "If you need help getting there, I would certainly be willing to escort you, but you don't need to put yourself out for me."
It had surprised him how quickly and easily she had offered him kindness, a lion she had never met and knew nothing about. Not everyone in the world was as near to harmless as he was. Ryuu found himself hoping she'd never meet anyone who would take advantage of that. The world needed more kindness in it.
He wondered, for a moment, what she had been thinking so hard about. She was a rather lovely lioness and she was probably even lovelier when she smiled.

Kisi smiled at his thoughtfulness- she liked that he was more concerned about herself than getting dry. But that didn't mean she was going to sit back and let him win. Oh, no, she was a bit stubborn when she wanted to be. Maybe not one of her more attractive traits, but no one was perfect, right? And her intentions were good. "I appreciate that. Not very many would ask someone if they were doing okay. At least... not around here. That's what it feels like. But, really, I'm not worried. My cave isn't far and I could do with heading back now, anyway. It's no problem for me if you would like to crash there for a little while." She smiled and motioned for him to follow her, pretty much disallowing a no for an answer. It was the lease she could do- he seemed to be a very nice, handsome lion. Well, not that being handsome had much to do with anything. Still.
