⋆ History :: Eva's father abandoned her mother when Eva was just born, leaving her with three children. Eva, having no other male influence in her life, clinged on very tightly to her brother. She looked up to her sister like a worshipper to a goddess, she cared for her mother and tried to do everything as right as she could. Eva loved her family so much it hurt, even though she was a long stretch from being a teen. Her life basically revolved around being the best she could be, for the sake of her family.
Eva was just a little girl when she was introduced to the horrors of the Games. She hid from it, was scared of it. Luckily, being from District 5, she didn't have to see much of it. But she dreads each reaping because her siblings (both of who she loves so dearly) may be reaped. She never understands the gore and complexity completely, but she knows she hates the Games with every fibre of her body.
⋆ Other :: Eva tries so hard to be older than she is in reality. She would give the world to be 19 and out of the Games, and able to help her family. Sometimes, she even pretends she is the same age as her siblings, years older than she is.
