"HEY, HEY YOU, I bet I can collect TOOOONS more FEAR than you! HOW ABOUT A FRIENDLY COMPETITION, HUH? HUH? (☉‿☉)"
Yeah right. Tseng knew that he could gather way more fear than his not-so-great-rival, Zhiqiang. He would show that grasshopper! He would gather all the fear for their grand cause and leave the other conquest soldier in the dust. And so the horsemen set out into the human world on his own, ready to get the job done.
Holding onto the container filled with the precious virus, he began to focus. After all, it could use a nice little boost. The container glowed as he pumped his fear into it, managing to refine and strengthen it quite a bit.
"Hah! That is how to do it right. Zhi probably would end up draining the fear somehow I bet!" he boasted... nevermind the fact that there was no one around him.
Beaming in a rather cheerful way.. especially considering what he was up to exactly, he moved on to get ready for the next step.

((GORE WARNING))
Holding onto the container, Tseng looked around, deciding to give the virus a test before unleashing it onto the masses. He just needed one human. Ah! Over there. It was so tempting to simply put an arrow through their heart. So very tempting. But! He wanted to test out just how well this virus worked. Making his way towards the human, he looked her over. She was a relatively young one it seemed, but not a child.
She would do.
"PLAGUE BEARER!" he shouted out as he infected her with a dramatic stance. He then hopped back and watched to see what would happen exactly.
The young woman, who had been texting on her phone soon paused and scratched her arm. A rash had begun to develop there.
"Ah s**t. Did something bite me?" she complained as she scratched her arm. It didn't really help her a whole lot, and she was finding other parts of her beginning to itch as well. It was really starting to become unbearable.
"What the heeeeeeelll..."
It was getting worse by the second. The rashes began to form into large boils, and the itching had shifted to something more painful. The woman didn't understand what was going on. Had she eaten something wrong? Was this some sort of allergic reaction? It didn't make sense! She never broke out this badly to anything before. A few of the boils ended up bursting, leaking out pus in the process.
It wasn't just the boils too. She was finding it harder to move as her body began to swell and bloat. Her muscles ached. Quickly, she tried to call an ambulance, but ended up dropping her phone in the process. The woman fell over at this point, breaking out into a cold sweat. Dark visions danced before her eyes as she feebly tried to find where she had dropped her phone. She needed help. Fast. And to her misfortune, there wasn't anyone near her who could make the call in her stead. She tried to cry for help, but her jaws weren't working for her.
The vision of watching herself decay into nothingness flashed before her a number of times. She wanted to scream as she watched what appeared to be a crow eating out her eyes. Maggots squirming about her body to try and gobble up the rotten flesh. Despite being supposedly dead in this vision, she still felt as though she was really being eaten from the inside. As if those little worms were really chewing away at her body.
It all went away for a moment. The visions vanished. The pain was gone. Everything seemed to be fine. Breathing heavily, she sat up and looked around, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. Unfortunately for her, it was just the calm before the storm. And soon enough, everything came back to her, slamming into her like a truck. She could swear she was screaming, but not a single sound escaped her lips. She writhed on the ground in complete agony, and would remain this way until she decayed from the inside out.
Tseng watched all of this with a sort of morbid fascination. Surely the virus wasn't supposed to work this quickly normally. Perhaps him being here had accelerated the process. It was too bad Yuzhi wasn't here. She probably would have been interested in this sight.
In any case, the human was going to be dead soon, and so it was time to stop dawdling and get on with some real fear harvesting. He grinned at the very thought.
He was going to gather all the fear. ALL THE FEAR.

"I UNLEASH THEE! THE SCOURGE OF THE CITY!" Tseng shouted as he unleashed the virus to the public now. Soon after he did this, the wind began to pick up, and rain started to fall. The virus caught the drift and went over to a group of children nearby.
Yes! This was already going rather well. And it looked like one of them was already sick!
"Off to a grand start already! I will bring all the glory!" he shouted while throwing his arms into the air. He needed to find more victims to spread this plague to.

For once, the sudden alert on his cell phone was welcome. For one thing, he yearned to breathe the air of the real world once more. It had been far too long, cabin fever slowly eating him alive. Secondly, this concerned something he'd been aching to rectify bit by bit. The Horsemen problem. There'd been nothing but eternal conflict among the hunters. Finally, he was out fighting what he'd signed up to fight.
The hunter took a short moment to stop and take in a deep breath of the raunchy New York air. He coughed, gagging, and deciding he'd best move on. Sure enough, the portal had dropped him off not too far from a dying woman. He'd mistaken her for perhaps a drugged up loser. But of course, Tenya's warnings in her mind said otherwise. Something was here.
Otto jogged forward, following whatever signs emerged.
The voice, then the rain. Otto's strikingly blue eyes widened at the sigh of a horseman raining something down on children. They narrowed soon enough, summoning his 6 foot boomerang. Not a word was uttered, no warning, just a swift arm back as he hurled the oversized weapon at Tseng.

Tseng thought things were going smoothly. Grinning, he was getting ready to try and gather up some more fear. However, the corner of his eyes soon caught something large flying at him. Before he really knew it, he took a hit from a rather big boomerang. The force was enough to take him off his feet. With a grunt, he hit the ground and skidded some distance away.
When he got up, he was able to see just who his assailant was.
"Puny hunter! Go play elsewhere! I have important things to take care of!" he shouted before bolting off, determined to get his job done. Any other time he would have tried to fight back. But right now the clan needed fear more than anything else.
There was a group of humans he passed by. They would have been easy to infect.. if his particular virus wasn't an airborne one. He needed to go elsewhere to spread the disease. With a hop, a skip, and a flipping leap, he continued to bound away through the city.

This Horsemen was odd. Otto almost felt like he was fighting a nerd like Deryk or Bix. He gritted his teeth, shouldered Tenya and ran after him. He couldn't let that beast harm anyone else. For once, Otto felt like he was doing something important. Something he knew in the end meant something. Screw the drama on the island, he was finally doing something that meant saving people. Even if they never knew it, that was okay. It was best, even.
Otto ran, letting the inertia propel Tenya forward as she was once again thrown at Tseng.

Tseng let out a grunt as he was hit with the boomerang again. This hunter was not relenting at all. The horsemen stuck his tongue out at the boy in return.
"Shoo I tell thee! Go find some bug to squash!" he shouted while he continued to run along. Ducking into an alleyway, he found trash strewn about. Ah! This should work nicely. As... disgusting as it was. Seriously, couldn't the humans keep things a little more clean around here? He shook his head slowly.
Opening the container a bit, he went to let the virus settle with the maggots. They would grow to flies and spread the disease with the wind.
"PESTILENCE!" he shouted, then zoomed onward.

Dammit! Nothing was deterring this guy! Otto was not going to relent. He needed to ground that creature before he did something that Otto wouldn't be able to reverse. s**t, he was pouring it on something. Trash? What was.. huh?
Forget it. Take that guy down first. If he didn't the Horsemen would run rampant and further endanger lives.
Otto stopped outside the alley, hurling Tenya through the narrow passage. No dodging this bullet.

"Need some help?" Harrison grunted, fresh from the lighthouse.
He didn't know who this guy was, only that it was an emergency, and a one-on-one with Death wasn't ideal.
He thought he'd need to arrive with a stretcher, but Otto looked okay.
He hit first. Two cutlasses, dripping with junkyard wires and one decorated with a pirateskull, slashed down into the guy Otto was throwing a boomerang at. That seemed a safe enough assumption. Then he asked questions.
"...What's going on? Who is this guy?"

Melvin wasn't far behind, moving behind the other hunters as he heard the sounds of confusion. It was a odd experience to go through the portal and wind up in the middle of a massive city, surrounded by the sounds of traffic, shouting, and HUMANS. Loads and loads of them that Melvin felt he had been lost - well, on a island - for a very long time. He noticed how starved for it he was, but he couldn't be distracted. This was a emergency mission for a reason.
Following behind Harrison, he noticed them firing at someone who was tossing about something strange and a mass of people dropping around them. Confused, he aimed and fired, barely just grazing the thing. "What the heck is wrong with all these people?" It was terrifying to hear and see them laying about.

Emergency mission. Well it wasn't like they were actually doing anything on the island lately anyway, he'd been up and ready as soon as Harrison had been.
Stab first, ask questions later seemed like a good plan of action, even if he only just managed to get Tracey summoned and swung.

Hunters were coming out of every orifice of the city! This was getting far too much. Even for a great horsemen like himself. Enough ants and even an elephant could be taken down.
He had his fear. Now it was time to go.
"PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS! BUT THERE IS GLORY TO BE HAD!" he shouted before bowing down as if having finished a performance and vanishing back to the lair.

Otto had help all of the sudden. He'd not been expecting it, and their numbers alone was enough to scare off the Horsemen for good.
Otto heaved a sigh, dismissing Tenya and crossing his arms.
"He was spreadin' somethin' around. A woman is dead or dyin', and some kids got sick too. I saw him dump some strange stuff in the trash too."

"We'll report it to HQ," Harrison said, flicking B0nez and letting gravity take the drips of fear off.
He sniffed and spat for good measure.
"...And stop by the infirmary. Make sure we didn't pick anything up. Women and kids, s**t."

Rep was still glaring at where the horseman had been. There was nothing in the world he hated more than the bastards. Cowards and murderers. He didn't care for the dead woman, as far as he was concerned it was probably the best state for her to be in. But he'd been denied what he wanted, what he always wanted, by being denied a fight. Especially a fight with the odds stacked grossly in his favour. Those were his favourite.
He felt like a dog denied its treat.
