Hollow Woods Cemetery is over 200 acres large deep within the forest lies the town of Grim Gates. Twelve buildings surrounded by a wrought iron fence appears to be abandon however it is populated by a few individuals. The last building making the number in total 13 is a large Victorian building with a marquee saying "Phantom Threatre" The Phantom Theatre is home to Seth Blackrose the most wealthiest resident in Hollow Woods. He runs a live theatre during the day but when the moon rises and mist engulfs the cemetery Seth hosts a fantastical Burlesque Lounge. The Threatre does not have your typical actors and actresses it hosts monsters of all sorts form humans with supernatural powers to werewolves vampires and even a ghost or two. The non human's the ghost specifically live in the theatre the humans come and go a few do stay however. Seth holds an annual gala with performances for his most esteemed clients and secretly judges his employees for the best candidate for his love.
Rules
1: Minor cussing is allowed
2: Romance between other chars is fine however Seth is gay so he only judges males but he does hire girls
3: Each char has supernatural powers.
4: If your chars a ghost ignore their past leading up to their deaths unless it happened quite recently.
5: No killing each other vampires and werewolves can hate each other however.
6: Keep romance to PG-13 no sex or time skips just keep it to making out.
7: Necromancer's can't control player ghosts

Human: Humans can have magical powers and they are. Necromancy: They can summon and control the undead. Medium: They can see and talk to ghosts. Witches: They have Halloween themed magic.
Werewolves: They can shapeshift into a wolf and a werewolf form. The moon does not affect them(they do like to howl however)
Vampires: Vampires have your typical weaknesses and can shapeshift into a bat a swarm of bats or a wolf.
Ghosts: Ghost are dead very dead they are see trough and can walk trough solid objects and can even become solid for a while.

Seth sat upon a spooky gargoyle themed chair in the balcony as creatures started to arrive for auditions. It was around 2 in the afternoon the sun was not out thank god thanks to the grey sky Seth upon his chair as he wiped dust off it. Seth looked at his little skull themed clipboard as he determined who was first on his list of "people". He rang a bell as the curtains opened and a small skeleton in a rather expensive suit stood at the edge of stairs leading to the stage. As loudly and clearly as he needed Seth called in his first audition. "Praveena St Claire? Please join me in the auditorium so we can asses your talents." That was good enough to get her attention. Seth did not hate girls but they were not cute enough for his standards still he might change his mind, it wasn't as if he was ever dated a boy he just liked them.

Praveena heard her name being called, and stepped into the auditorium. Her deep blue eyes looked around at the wonderful architecture of the building as she walked towards the stage. She then stepped into the stage and looked up at Seth; even though he was on the balcony, she could see him clearly. Her soft voice was carried to Seth as she said, "What would you like me to do, Mr. Blackrose?" She knew he would assess her talents, but there were many ways for her to show him her talents.

"Well you pick I'm running two things in this building legally I might add the first is a burlesque lounge and the second is a theatre. The lounge is for adults and the theatre is for all ages. Seth was not picky he didn't like to harass his employees or possible ones so he makes sure they do whatever they find appropriate for both endeavors. He did however have employees that are only suited for one or the other but a flexible employee is always welcomed. Which he had so very little of.

Praveena gave a slight nod; she was interested in both. First, she showed her abilities through the use of theatre. She knew theatre could range from plays, to reciting dramatic poetry, to opera and music; it all depended on what the owner favored. She had memorized her favorite poem; The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe; and decided to use this. She would recite her favorite stanza of the poem, which fit in perfect with her talents. The entire room darkened, except for the area around Praveena's skin, making it look as though moonlight was reflecting off of her skin. Her blue eyes looked up at Seth as she softly said, "Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before..." Her voice seemed to flow with the poem, and the glowing area around her skin subtly changed colors to reflect the dramatic words: wondering, fearing, doubting, and dreaming. The color then returned to normal as she continued, her voice seemed to fill the darkness as though it were a soft whisper, yet loud enough for everyone to hear; "...but the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token, and the only word there spoken was the whispered word, 'Lenore!'..." Her voice as she said 'Lenore' carried through the darkness as a soft, yet powerful and dramatic whisper before she carried on; "...and an echo murmured back the word, 'Lenore!'..." The darkness itself seemed to whisper back to Seth, as though it were alive. Then, Praveena recited the last line of the stanze, her voice soft; "Merely this...and nothing more..." As she finished speaking, her voice carried through the darkness as a whisper, before it faded and the room was silent. Then, the darkness dissappeared, and the room returned to normal. Praveena could do this with music, plays, and poems.

Bravo my dear what can you do for more lively entertainment? I admit my burlesque is modest but still the beauty of the performers and seductive moves for the sultry stuff is wonderful. I do have a few amusing acts. Seth looked at his clipboard him another appointment with another vampire. Yikes he hoped they didn't bite... Seth laughed a small laugh to himself at the joke. The woman was impressive with her reciting Seth wondered if he could have his fave story of Poe as a play, he's sure that this vampire be a great asset to The Black Cat the best of Poe's works that Seth could think of.
1: Whats a stanza? And two I only know what a burlesque is form the movie with Cher.

Praveena was silent for a moment as she thought of a burlesque which could also be seductive. She then thought of one, and the room once again went dark. Then Praveena appeared in the balcony opposite of the one where Seth was sitting. Her skin was once again glowing, but this time, it was as though her skin was made of moonlight itself. Her blue eyes glowed like sapphires; looking royal blue in the darkness which accented her facial features. She appeared in a dark blue victorian-style dress, which fit her figure perfectly until it reached her hips, where it started to flow like a waterfall. She looked like a gothic version of Juliet. She sat down on the edge of the balcony, her blue eyes scanning the ceiling of the room as if they were looking for something. When she didn't find what she was looking for, she slowly lay down on the balcony's railing; as if growing tired because of her 'strenuous' efforts to find something. Her balance was keeping her from falling. She reached out to the darkness, as if trying to reach something hidden to her. When she spoke, her voice was sad, with a hint of longing. "Romeo...Romeo...where art thou...Romeo...?" Her sapphire blue eyes seemed to look everywhere but at the ground, where Romeo would be. This burlesque was a parody of Juliet as she was searching for her Romeo on the balcony; looking everywhere but the place where he was sure to be. She then sighed softly, as the darkness slowly enveloped her. Then, the room reverted to normal, and Praveena was standing on the stage, back in her previous outfit.((A stanza to a poem, is as a paragraph to a novel. It separates thoughts in a poem, and usually there is a space between each stanza. Also, in terms of theatre, a burlesque is, in a way, a parody of a famous work of literature (most often plays). Though, in America, burlesque is known as more of a seductive parody.))

Seth quite liked this girl she be a wonderful asset to his show. "Bravo my dear your a shoo in for my theatre. Do you by any chance know any of my fave Poe works? For example I absolutely adore Black Cat its such a wonderful story of a cat avenging its death by driving a wicked man insane. As Seth said this he seemed to not attempt to hide his delight at speaking about the story. This girl is perfect now he could talk to her and set up a show as soon as can be after all what use is a star if you don't use it? Seth walked down the spiral staircase to the stage and greeted curtisly to the woman.
OOC: Sorry my posts are not very long they just look longer when typing them up. And I'm a rather direct person I do tend to detail to great amounts special effects however and scenery.

Praveena smiled softly as she watched him walk down the spiral staircase, and curtsied as he walked over to her. "Thank you, sir. And I know many of Poe's works; I agree, Black Cat is in fact quite a wonderful story." She truly believed that Edgar Allen Poe was a master of macabre in his stories.((Your posts are perfectly fine, there is no need to apologize.))

"Excellent my dear we shall have to a burlesque number based on it. Now I am well aware Poe did not write it but do you by any chance know my favorite poem Come Little Children?" Seth hardly ever let anyone noticed he had a warm side to him, but its so very lonely with all these ghosts running around who knew very little of themselves. Seth took the woman to a non public wing of the Theatre and into a study. The study had a black wooden desk and a skull with pencils and office thingies in the eye sockets Seth sat down on a purple velvet chair with a skull on the top of the chair. The room had bookshelves all across both walls with various things besides books with them. A wolf skull sat in the exact center of a mantle on a fireplace as a warm fire cackled. "Tea my dear?" Seth may not be much into girls but he never dared to be rude to a woman unless they were rude to him first he was spooky but a gentlemen to the last word.

Praveena followed Seth into his study, admiring the bookshelves and the decor. she was very curious to see which books he had in his bookshelves, but she stayed where she was. She was raised to be respectful, and woud not sit until she was asked to. However, when she was offered tea, she said, "Yes, please. And I am quite fond of that poem; it is a wonderful poem." Come little children I'll take thee away, into a land of enchantment...

"Oh! Where are my manners? Would you care to sit?" Seth gestured to one of two seats in front of the desk he sat behind. He poured her tea and poured himself just the water as he began to stir some hot cocoa in his cup, which was shaped like a skull with a monocle the cup was not cute no was it scary. "So do tell me which Poe story would you like to do? I'm open to anything with the actors I got currently I make money but I'd like to enjoy one of my shows with genuine satisfaction." Seth looked out the window it was still day ugh... he hated the day he preferred moonlit nights surrounded by bats that was not going to happen certainly not the moon part as their was none. he sighed in his head grey cloudy days were a bittersweet blessing in his opinion.

Praveena sat down in one of the chairs and quietly said, "Thank you." when he gave her the tea. She then listened to him speak, and said, "I like all of Poe's stories, sir...but not all of them have female characters. Perhaps Eleanora, The Oval Painting, or Ligeia." She then noticed him look out the window, with a distate for the time of day. She agreed with him; she preferred clear, starry nights with a full moon. Though, she would take a grey cloudy day over a bright, sunny day.

Why don't we do a burlesque act of The Fall of The House of Usher? With a twist instead of a boy being mad it can be a girl." Seth wasn't sure how she'd feel about that as after all the namesake char is killed at the end. Seth got up to close the blinds making the room a bit darker as he went over to a 3 foot tall gargoyle holding a torch and lit it illuminating the room in an eerie glow. "That's better isn't it?" Seth sat back down and looked at another gargoyle holding a roman numbered clock and confirmed it was 3pm.

Praveena looked at him as the room darkened slightly. She then listened to Seth's idea and said, "Yes, and that is a wonderful idea." She was fully aware of the ending, but it was a wonderful story, and she would love to act in a burlesque of it.
