Everyone uses laptops. It's weird. When I'm at my parents house, with all of us here in the living room, we see like 5 laptops being used. We're all like, too many laptops.
Of course my mom is using her stupid smartphone now as well, like she plays a game on it in everything.

I have like 8 laptops, though I'm gonna be hopefully gettin' a new desktop from my brother for christmas so I can finally play computer games again.

Aoi the Crossdresser Semok I have like 8 laptops, though I'm gonna be hopefully gettin' a new desktop from my brother for christmas so I can finally play computer games again. Eww desktops suck. You can't bring then everywhere. sad That's why I've stuck with laptops for so long. Unfortunately, the kind of speed I need to play the games I like is just too expensive in laptop-form.

There's just some games that I like that are only on the pc.

You can't bring then everywhere. sad You do know that a desktop is more powerful than a laptop for the same price. it's at the cost of the portability. But people who do video game recordings, podcasts, or the like do it on a desktop because of the stronger processor. The portability of the laptop is nice, but it's portability makes it an overall weaker machine. I play my video games on the desktop, since there are a lot more things you can do with a computer game than a console game. though we do have an X-box 360, PS2, and a Wii. I know, we've got two out of date systems, but mostly we use our desktops for gaming. the consoles are more for when we're hosting gaming sessions with friends.

I have a laptop, though if my housing situation was more stable then moving every few months I would probably get a desktop for all my programming and such, though a laptop is fairly convenient.
Though I have two laptops, one is my main computer and the other is for taking notes.

My parents are not technology people, when I told my mum that at my friends house there are 5 people using the internet she was so shocked she replied, "What?! That means 5 computers in the house!" whee

Lotsa laptop users.
And yeah desktops are more useful for gaming.
Like I can't even play DOOM or something on my laptop cuz it will turn off in like 20 minutes cuz it's too hot. Stupid. My computer randomly turns off when it's too hot or when I am doing something like playing computer games or on like google maps street view.
My old crap laptop from 2005 never randomly turned off on me.
