Biisa stretched out and looked around the area he'd managed to find himself in. "Cer'ainly don't look like swamps." He said to himself, frowning just a bit. He was supposed to meet his mother there, or something like that. But how could he meet up with his mother if he couldn't even find the swamps? He gave his tail a little flick and sighed, shaking his head. "Well, whatever." Things would all work out in the end, probably.
He started to move through the tall grasses, eyes half lidded against the dying sunlight of the day. Shortly night would be upon the savannah and life would become more interesting. For many it would mean the struggle of life and death as they avoided predators. "Ones like me." He chuckled at that, always did enjoy a good joke with himself.
He shook his mane out of his eyes, thinking about what sort of thing he'd like to do for the evening.

Gintare would have been pretty horrified to find herself trudging through swampland. She had done it before and vowed never again. The people there were suspicious and unfriendly and absurdly prejudiced and even though she had her own pet peeves, she didn't think a person was fundamentally flawed because of something their parents or their parents' parents had done. That was horribly unfair, and if it were true than her cubs were in whole heaps of hot water.
She was settling in for the night when she head the sound of rustling grass and was instantly on her feet. She could fight if she had to, but she preferred not to have to. It was one of the many reasons she had learned to be charming at an early age. She put on a pleasant, playful smile and waited to be invaded.

When he came through the little area of tall grass he was a bit surprised at finding a female just ahead, standing there with a coy smile on her maw. He was reminded, for a brief moment, of his mother. But the female didn't smell familiar, and she lacked the lighter markings and mane. Still, the reminder of his mother was comforting and already he liked the character ahead of him, though this was a very basic and superficial admiration. "Well 'ello there?" He said slowly and with a hint of question in his voice. He'd stopped when he spotted her, and now they stood facing each other.
He'd learned in the past that he sometimes wasn't the best judge of character, due to instantly deciding that lions with dark pelts or looked similar to his mother were very good and lions who had strange pelt colors or were just light in general were lions to be weary of. "Did I disturb ya or sum'in?" He sure hoped not, company sounded well right now.

"No, not unforgivably. I was just getting ready to go to sleep. Care to join?"
The words were out of Gintare's mouth before she could think too hard about them, but once she spoke them she gave a mental shrug and didn't regret them. He wasn't a bad-looking lion and if he agreed the evening could be fun. Might be nice to know his name though.
"What's your name, stranger?"

"Well!"
Well.
She was a forward little minx, wasn't she? His smile faltered only for a moment, where he debated if she was joking or not, and then just grew. He decided that if she was having him on it would be funny enough, he was the sort of lion that could laugh at his own expense.... and if she was serious... well she either meant someone to cuddle up with in the cold night or someone to cuddle up with in the cold night. Either was a rather appealing idea for him, he wouldn't deny himself the truth.
Before he could giver her a serious answer she asked for his name... names were well and good in this sort of situation, he guessed. "Me? I'm Biisaiyowaq. Ya can call me Biisa though iffin ya like that." He took a few steps forward, not shy about looking her over. "And oo might ya be, lovie?"
He stopped again, still not fully closing the gap between them, his mind reminding him that this still could be some sort of trap. Or a joke... but it was a vague and foggy warning, one he was already not considering very much.

Gintare blinked at the name. Biisa...something. Dear gods. She would never be able to pronounce that whole thing. She was so relieved he had a nickname she could use.
"Biisa's good," she said with a grin. "I'm Gintare. Tare if you prefer."
She settled into a more comfortable seated position now that she had assured herself that she wasn't in any sort of danger. She could sit and flirt all evening. Flirting was one of her favorite pastimes, even if it didn't lead to anything. Which reminded her...
"You don't have to feel obligated or anything. I just kind of spoke without thinking."

He returned her smile and nodded. "Tare, eh? Gotta nice ring ta it." He watched as she sat and finally closed the distance between them, sitting just across from her. His tail gave a little flick, becoming relaxed as well.
"Obliga'ed?" He sounded a little surprised, his eyes widened and he let out a hearty laugh. "If yer takin' back yer offer, that's a shame! I was rather smitten with the idea..." He purred out, a cocky grin sprawled on his maw. He shrugged a little. "But It's alrigh' if you don't wanna. We could jus' talk a bit too." Though he would definitely prefer her first offer.

Tare smirked. Of course he was smitten with the idea. She was wonderful company. Not that he really had any way of knowing that, but it was the truth. She would have had no difficulty getting sworn affidavits from past lovers to attest to that fact, assuming she could find the people. She did tend to move around a lot after all. People and places got boring with prolonged exposure.
"Well, if you're all right with it, so am I. After all, I'm not one of those horrible people who makes an offer and then rescinds it. Not usually, anyway. Unless the other person is boring or awful. So far you're neither. Don't mess it up."
She shrugged and began licking a forepaw. Cleanliness was important.

He pulled a face and chuckled a bit, then stuck his tongue out. "Blarg, lions like that'er the worst." There were probably few things more annoying than someone that dangled an offer in front of your nose and then snatched it away in the next few moments. He was glad this Tare lioness wasn't one of them. He'd also decided firmly that she wasn't joking with him.
He laughed more when she warned him not to mess it up, "Aye, of that I have no intentions of doin'." Even though 'not messing it up' was going to be largely up to Tare. He figured that sleeping could come a little later, since names were already exchanged he figured a little more information wouldn't hurt. Of course, he didn't want her life story... but she also didn't seem the type of lioness that would offer such information so freely.
"Yeh a pride cat or a wanderer?" Princess_Feylin would you like to wrap this up within the next few posts or?

"I absolutely agree. Totally awful people, those," Tare replied, wrinkling her nose as she finished grooming her right forepaw.
She put the newly clean paw down and fixed him with a stern look before beginning work on the other one. "Good. I hate to be disappointed."
She could tolerate this information exchange if she had to. It was something she'd grown accustomed to. She liked to know a bit about the lions she got involved with, too. Not heaps and heaps of details, but enough that she could guarantee she wasn't going to acquire a stalker or something like that. She also liked to know where she could find him if need be.
"Wanderer, most definitely. And yourself?"Lethrossen Next few posts is fine with me. I've got about six posts to do in a SRP before she'll have all her required RPs.

He nodded almost knowingly when she stated she was a wanderer, he'd been leaning toward that anyhow. "Fer now I'm a wanderer." That was kind of vague, wasn't it? But he didn't think it would be too... sexy to say, 'hey I'm just looking for my mom. Going to go live with her.... oh no, nothings wrong with her and she doesn't need my help, I just feel a little lonely'. His tail flicked and he smiled. "But evenchully I'll end up in the swamps, I hope." There, that seemed like a full answer to him.
He thought a moment, wondering if there was anything else he cared to know about her. His paws were beginning to get itchy though, he was growing eager. "So doll, yeh feelin' a bit sleepy?" He wiggled his eyebrows just once, a sly grin on his maw. Princess_Feylin I need four more rps with him (-shot-) but I am working on them right now!

"Enjoy that," she said flatly. She hadn't much cared for those lions when she met them during her travels, but it wasn't as if she was planning to set up a life with Biisa in the swamps, so she supposed it didn't matter much.
Hearing about the Swamps had, indeed, made Tare a great deal less interested in this conversation than she had been. She knew where to find this lion though, and that was useful information. About as much as she needed to know.
"Not exactly sleepy," she answered with an expression that almost looked demure. "But I think it's time to go to bed. I have to be moving on tomorrow."

Well that hadn't really sounded like she'd wanted him to enjoy it at all... but he wasn't going to question it at the moment. Some lions simply hated prides or didn't want to settle or whatever, and he was cool with that. Live and let live, he'd like to think.
"Sounds like a plan." He replied, smirking as he followed her to where she'd been resting before.
