Topic of the week for November 26th.
If you could add one race to the NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule, what would it be? Bring back Rockingham? Maybe another road course? Dirt? Anything goes, but remember, ONE race.

Add Montreal and Rockingham, knock Charlotte and Pocono down to one race each.

Add Austin's COTA to the chase(granted we will have to make some changes to the layout due to some of the tight corners in the F1 layout that the stock cars can not run)...and drop a race from either Texas or Pocono... Maybe Kansas

I'd like to see another road course. They've had better action than the short tracks the last few years.

nascar900 If i could, maybe Laguna Seca. Or bring back Rockingham. Possibly Montreal and drop Kansas or Pocono Ive always been curious as to why Laguna Seca was never a possibility...not even for testing... Nascar has never considered the track for any race...nor has the track themselves attempted to reach out to nascar. confused I quite like the track (granted we dont need another Cali track added to the list so it may involve dropping Sonoma) and various old school throw back races they have had there over the years.

But Laguna has other races, like Rolex racing and other small race series and maybe hasn't had time to branch out to NASCAR

I think it's because of that turn 6 or 7 I believe? If I remember right while playing Gran Tourismo, that turn with the hard downhill left followed by a sharp right hand at the bottom a split second later would probably rape half the cars in the field in the tailpipe. *coughhackstephenwallacecough*
