The Knight of Earth was in a somber mood this evening, which was early and still settling into night. There was moisture lingering in the air, heavy clouds above threatening to burst but none making the move. Maybe they were just biding their time.

Rain had a taste for dramatics.

For himself, Camelot was not feeling particularly inclined toward anything at all. His emotional roller coaster had settled a bit, after rolling high through joy and crashing down into guilt and failure.

He was leaning on the roof of the library, the safety rail that ran all the way around it providing a good enough place for him to brood. He was not sure what he was thinking about, really, just staring into the growing dark and waiting for his patrol to begin.

Maybe he would feel better, actually protecting people.

Duty would not allow Nysa to hide from the looming clouds and pending rain. He usually would have stayed home, keeping warm with a cup of tea. Rain water would be murder on his hair and make his uniform stick to him, but that wasn't nearly as important as trying to find one person.

It was a most difficult task, considering he did not even know where she would have been. It was quite unlikely she would be out with the rain on the way. However, with even just the slightest chance of being able to find her, Nysa was willing to put his own comfort aside and patrol.

There weren't nearly as many energies to read, which meant that most were probably sticking to comfort before duty. There was a familiar aura seeming to emanate from near the city library. Even such could have been seen as potentially useful to the Squire.

Rather than ignore it, the teal-haired Squire set for the library. A strong, familiar silhouette came into view as he made the bound for the rooftop, and soon enough the younger lad began to approach. "Evening, Sir Camelot." His footsteps were light and careful, as if he was asking for permission to approach with his greeting.

Camelot was not expecting company, but he was not bad off for it. It would probably put him in a better mood, and distract him from his jumbled thoughts. Anything to get him out of the mess that was hsi head would be more than welcomed at the moment.

Since he couldn't just call it a night and go play fetch with Dogby.

He looked to see Nysa approaching, having felt him but knowing it was nothing to be concerned about because it was a fellow knight, and smiled. He nodded his head in greeting.

"Good evening, Nysa. Out on patrol?" He remembered the fuss Sutai was making concerning Nysa, and imagined it would be a good time to ask about it all. There was a strange little game going on between the two, at least, and Camelot couldn't help but be curious and a little protective.

With the returned greeting, the lad's steps seemed to grow a bit less cautious, though he still seemed to have a graceful air to him as he moved about. Camelot was polite in his inquiry of Nysa's evening activities, which gave the lad no reason to hesitate in response.

"Indeed. Though, I am looking for someone in particular. I was wondering if you might be able to assist me."

He stepped closer before sharing what it was he was seeking out. "Have you seen or heard word of a Sailor Neptune in the city?"

Sailor Neptune?

"Er, no, I've never heard of anyone with that name."

Which was true. He was not exactly up to date on senshi lore, and was a knight of Earth. He had little reason to be aware of things like that. He barely had his own history sorted, and needed a few more memories from Camelot to really understand the very basics of who he had once been.

He frowned apologetically, unable to be any more help than that, though he was a little curious why Nysa thought he might be able to find a Sailor Neptune in Destiny City. Maybe it was another one of his impossible quests, like he had given Sutai, and like knights of legend often fell victim to. Even Camelot had his own to worry about.

"Is there news of a Sailor Neptune around here?"

It was vaguely disappointing to hear from a well seasoned knight such as Camelot that he had not ever heard of Sailor Neptune. It wasn't disheartening, since the lad still have every intention to keep seeking the woman out.

"Alas, I cannot say that there has been any news of a Sailor Neptune, Sir Camelot. I still appreciate your information." He humbly nodded his head in the man's direction.

His eyes glanced to the city surrounding them from the library rooftop. "So how has your patrol been so far this evening? Has it been uneventful?"

Camelot was not sure what he had done to warrant that look of disappointment, but it bothered him in the same way it bothered him when Dogby whined and he didn't know what was upsetting her. He got that dragging feeling in the back of his mind, like a weight was suddenly set there, telling him with its thick heaviness that he needed to figure it out and set things right.

But how could he do that?

He knew very little of senshi lore, save what he had gleaned through his personal experiences in their realms. He tried to keep it all sorted in his head but he privately admitted that his knowledge was lacking of late, because his focus was so often on what he already knew, and passing that on, rather than learning more about the senshi.

He would have to make up for it. Maybe that was one of his new years resolutions.

"It has been.. well... I haven't started just yet. But I'm sure it will be just like the others. Unless you needed my help in something... I mean... other than your search? I'm afraid I can't do much else but look around for you, and I'll ask who I know if they have any information. But ah."

He had not started his patrol yet? It was an interesting thing to know, since that meant the start of his patrol was at this location. He shifted slightly before gradually taking a thoughtful stance.

Were there things he needed assistance with? If anything, the evidence was piling up that led to a simple yes, he needed some help.

"Since you have offered, I do believe I need some guidance, if you would be willing. You are a seasoned veteran, so I would hope you would have some tricks up your sleeves."

The lad opened both of his arms and somewhat gestured to himself. "I have found myself reasonably unfit when it comes to dealing with those who follow chaos. My offense is terrible and my defense is only slightly better. I have some experience with combat, but not the variety where fist-to-fist seems to be the only manner in which I can fight." Though he managed to keep a somewhat regal feel to himself, there was something about the way that his eyebrows seemed to knit together which revealed his discomfort with talking about himself in such a negative light.

"Would you be able to assist me, Sir Camelot?"

The Knight of Earth nodded his head, looking amused but not sharing his thoughts. He patted his shield and looked thoughtful for a moment.

"Well, I guess the best way to start is to see what you can do, then start from there. Just attack me and give me your best."

He could take it, without using his shield and breaking anyone's fist. At least, he hoped he could take it. The last thing he wanted was to be punched in the face and knocked out cold. He was supposed to be helping, not proving that he was far weaker than he thought he was.

Still, times had changed enough that he actually had confidence in his own abilities now, and was more than willing to help others find theirs.

It took quite a request to catch Nysa off guard. It was almost as if the Earth Knight had just asked Nysa to jump into a kiddy pool with a half dozen piranhas. So a pair of teal eyes were soon enough looking at the elder man much like a deer would look at a pair of oncoming headlights.

Though the instructions were simple enough, the lad couldn't help but ask "Come again?"

Camelot blinked and tilted his head.

"What's the matter? You did say you wanted to learn how to attack, didn't you? The best way to see how strong you are is to take your best swing. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine, don't worry. Just come at me and give me your best attack."

He understood the hesitance, and nodded his head encouragingly as he braced himself.

"Don't think too hard about it."

He was thinking about it too hard, despite the advice against such.

It took him a good thirty seconds to finally move in, and once he was close enough to strike, Nysa hesitated quite noticeably. However, he balled up his fist (and properly, seeing as he learned this lesson quite well after that botched up Order meeting), and soon enough struck with one single quick punch aimed to the chest.
