Hurrying to the opposite side of the farm from the farmhouse itself, Althea stopped not too far away from the large grain silo. At this point the large doe was getting out of breath. Running wasn't her gift, and she did her best to keep her chest heaving a hidden thing. After catching her breath, Althea sought out Crocus and nodded to her in greeting.
"This is where I leave you. No need to tell you what to do, I should think."
She smirked conspiringly to the other owsla before taking on a more sober tone.
"If I don't make it back, lead everyone to the Down. Take charge. Get as many out as you can."
Not a pleasant thought, but a necessary one. Making her rounds through the remaining rabbits again, she prodded those she'd be leaving with Crocus, wishing them luck as she touched noses.
Once they'd been figured out she looked over those that remained. Hers, now. Back to the barn, the same place she'd faced a cat so long ago. Not that she was about to share horror stories in this eleventh hour.
"Ready you lot? Let's get going then."
Urging them onward, she headed across the farm field proper, towards the large structure in the middle of everything; the barn.

Crocus pulled an ear in respect towards Althea as the Owsla-Marli left with her group. She didn't want to disappoint the other doe, and she really didn't want to lose any rabbits.
"Go slowly. Remember the dangers of snares and poison. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Keep your ears and eyes alert and open; if I was a pfeffa, this would be where I'd sleep. You can go alone or in pairs. Alone, you might cover more ground, but in pairs, you might have less trouble. Do whatever you feel comfortable with for now." As the group moved a bit to disperse, the doe tugged at her runner's fur.
"Before you go, Dogsbane. A word with you. You're our runner. I'd like you to help me watch the others. At the first sign of trouble, run to them. And if things..." She hesitated, taking a breath. "If things go bad, get out of here. The others will follow you." She knew she could trust Dogsbane to do this. Any runner would. Clearing her throat, she addressed the group again.
"And if you hear the alarm? Look to Dogsbane. He'll lead you to safety. Now, let's go find some flay!"

Camellia nosed Althea back and watched her run off. She has never felt this nervous before. Keeping watch of Crocus and listening to everything that was being said, she quietly hopped after her. Heart pounding, she shakes her tail trying to keep herself focused. "I-I could go on my own but would like to go with someone else in case of running into a pfeffa" she said staying near the doe. Staying close to the team, she patiently waited to see who her partner will be. "Dogsbane..." she whispered as she makes a mental image of him in her mind.

Darkbrier still remained silent, though she gave Althea a nod and a, hopefully, reassuring smile as she left the group. Then she looked to Crocus to see what their orders would be. She would do what she could to help support the officers; they certainly had enough stress to deal with already.

Dogsbane took a few deep breaths. As eager as he was to run he kept himself quiet and close to Crocus, as to not make the other's nervous or even tharn! He didn't know what he would do, should someone stop moving from fear. He'd probably never get over the guilt.
He nodded as Althea saw them off and listened closely to Crocus. He kept his legs coiled as she told him what she wanted him to do. "I won't let you down, Crocus. You can count on me." He hopped off a tiny bit, watching both the entrance and the way they had come, nose twitching constantly.

"I know you won't, Dogsbane. You're reliable and an asset to the warren. 'S why Gingko..." She wanted to say likes, but she didn't think that Gingko liked anybody. "Why he puts up with you better than pretty much anybody else." She winked at him, then sent him off into the darkness and turned to the other rabbit by her side. "Well, let me see. Camellia, is it? I'm sure that others are going to want to partner up. Stick by me for a second." She raised her voice a bit and stamped a hind foot. "Anybody else wanting a partner, come over her for a moment, please!"

Linnet felt the energy of the rabbits surge around her as they raced from one side of the farm to the other. It felt so sudden that they were already where they needed to be, and already Althea and her group were gearing up to leave. She perked her ears as Althea came around to her, wishing her luck and then brushed her nose “I wish you luck as well.” Linnet’s voice was quiet and pretty, but an undertone of nervousness ran below it. The rabbits started splitting up then, leaving the group by themselves.
Linnet’s eyes soared upwards to the top of the silo, she had never been close to the farm and hadn’t realized how large it really is. She pulled her eyes back down when she heard Crocus begin to talk, more words to keep locked in her mind. Linnet took a deep breath, trying to get a bit more settled, but she couldn’t tell if it had worked.
The doe quietly hopped after Crocus after she asked the rabbits who wanted partners to gather, in this situation it would be ideal to have a partner.

Hopping around the doe, her red eyes widened as she replied "Yes Crocus. That's me. I would want to go in pairs."

Dogsbane felt his stomach flutter at the mention of Ginkgo. He really did care about the grumpy old sod...he knew he would be proud of him for this. He felt a smile tugging at his lips as he went back to observing.

Edit:
An old tabby cat stretched in his makeshift nest. A bundle of hay besides the silo shifted slightly as he moved, readjusting before settling into the warmth again. It was far too cold to be moving about, the chill aching his ancient joints.

The doe smiled widely at the two does who had gathered near her. "Well, now see, this looks about perfect. Camellia, this I believe is Linnet. You're both looking for partners; why not go together?" The two does looked nervous and she hoped that her friendly demeanor would calm them a little bit. "And remember, if something does happen, just look for me or Dogsbane. We'll come running in a hearbeat."

Dogsbane found it almost amusing that the Owsla had spoken of cats in the silo. As Crocus had been designating the teams, he had been watching the entrance and the inside of the silo for some time. There had been movement and he perked, ears listening. Something was there...something bigger than a mouse but not as big as a dog. He guessed it may have been a Pfeffa but he wasn't sure. No need to cause a huge ruckus, since it didn't seem like it was doing anything yet. He didn't get the sense of tension one might get when they were being watched.
Slowly, he backed up from the silo and once out of sight, he almost bolted to Crocus. "Don't let them in yet." He said, then leaned towards her and whispered into her ear. "I think there's a cat in the hay. It may be asleep or it may just be a large rat, but it's there." He'd draw it off if he had to...stupid animal.

Camellia hopped over to Linnet and sniffed around her face to remember her scent. This will be useful to know where she is once the sun sets. "Hi partner. Please watch over me as I will watch over you" she said with a small nervous smile. Looking over to Darkbrier, she was not sure if that rabbit wanted to go alone or not.

Crocus's heart sank a bit with Dogsbane's news. She'd known from the beginning that danger would surround this raid, but actually facing it... She couldn't let her team get hurt. "Good to know. Let's just move carefully and quietly for now. It's in the hay? I'll keep an eye on the pile. If it moves towards us, I'll jump on it. But if we're quiet, maybe it'll just stay asleep. Let's hope for the luck of El-ahrairah in this." She shifted so that she was blocking the door, staring in. "Just a few moments, team. We really can't be too careful here. I think... yes. I'm going to check around again and then we'll move in, one by one. But not directly- we should circle around the back. I don't trust that straw pile." She turned again to Dogsbane. "Think you could lead us in? I'll take the rear. If the cat's out here, I'll be able to get on it."

Linnet saw the other doe hopping around Crocus before she had come closer. She recognised her from the warren of course, but she didn’t think they had ever talked.
Camellia approached and sniffed Linnet, she did the same. “Hello” Linnet’s voice was soft and polite. She nodded after the doe was done talking “Of course.” She smiled, she felt her heart slow down a bit, Crocus’ plan was working
“So, which way should we go then-” She held up when she heard Dogsbane A pfeffa already?
