Hug-bell was perched on the jungle gym at one of the playgrounds. She'd been working on something. Ribbons from her feathered butt bow were dangling like her legs were.

Barnaby was sat upon her head and she was working on something in a notebook. Honestly, the Eternal chibi senshi probably shouldn't've been out alone, but in spite of that she was still sitting there.

Actually, she was making notes of who she hadn't seen in a while. One of which included a captain named Scheelite, Wolframite was on that list too but one she was less interested in encountering.

There was a sigh as she worked, "I really don't know how we're going to do it Barnaby. No one really agrees on what we're here for." The child paused, "They don't even listen to our opinion."

She had an ipod with her, with a small speaker. The sound wasn't turned up too high but it was playing songs from movies like Tangled and the Frog Princess.

The town itself had seen very little of the brightly clothed Negaverse Captain. It seemed like Scheelite had nearly disappeared off the radar. A casualty of the war perhaps? Or...something more?

Today it seemed as though the mystery would finally be solved.

He wasn't so sure what drew him back to the playgrounds. It wasn't like a general of the Negaverse had much work to be done there, but still...he felt as though he should pay it a visit. There was one little friend he often saw around there that he hadn't seen in quite some time. Maybe, just maybe, he'd be able to pay her a visit?

Though...should he? A General and a Chibi Senshi were not supposed to be friends...yet they were! Or, at least, he still hoped they were. Honestly there were a lot of things a Negaverse General was not supposed to be, and he fit all of them. Why not be friends, maybe there was something to learn there.

These sorts of thoughts distracted him, until boots fell upon the familiar ground of the playground, and soft music could be heard. Hey...he knew this tune!
"And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted..."
Scheelite hummed along with the song a moment, before smiling wide as he finally noticed who was accompanying the song. Though she looked....different?

No matter! He did too after all.
"Hug-bell!"
Scheelite waved both arms above his head in a rather enthusiastic manner, not really caring to correct his actions to a more...adult-like move. Nahhh.

Hug-bell had actually been singing to the same verse when her butter yellow eyes lifted from what she was working on when she felt the familiar pang of Chaos. She tried not to look worried, but that worry soon faded. "SCHEELITE!!"

The chibi-senshi gracefully removed herself from the jungle gym and ran over to the now-general. Hugging him, "I'm so glad you're okay!" Honestly, she'd worried over him since her near-death encounter with Wolframite. ...And it's warm and real and bright And the world has somehow shifted...

She stepped back looking at his uniform. "Ohhh it looks like you got promoted." She sounded curious, maybe a tiny bit worried. Perhaps she should've thought more than just to run up and hug him. The child looked around. Barnaby had fallen to the ground, well she'd get him in a second.

"How've you been?"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 23, 2012 6:55 pm

"Hey! It's good to see you're doing good too!"
He might be a General, but he was still acting like friendly old Scheelite. In fact, right after the hug he moved over to retrieve Barnaby from the ground. Once the bear was properly dusted off, he held it out for the Chibi Senshi to retrieve.

"Yeah, had a promotion, been doing a bit of work outside of this place. Been a while since I've been back really...how about you? Seems you've had an uh...do they call it promotions for you too?"
Schee's face screwed up in thought. Promotion didn't seem like the right word....

Oh well, whatever.

Hugbell smiled as it seemed her was still good old Scheelite. "Yup, I've been trying to organize a group for the chibis and do some stuff outside of sch----...." she paused and gave a little cough. She sighed, she couldn't possibly talk about school with Scheelite. It wasn't that she was worried about the general, she was worried about everyone else on the negaverse side.

The child seemed to think, "Congrats on your promotion." Though in her mind somewhere it seemed to say, congrats on losing yourself a little more. She adjusted her hood.

"I think... it's more like an upgrade or.... uh.... Power up? It's not quite a pikachu evolution deal, but more like Mario with the mushrooms. He's stronger so he can do more things." She tried to explain her upgrade.

She looked at him, "Schee...." There was a small pause as she thought about what she was about to ask, "Can I ask you a question?"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 23, 2012 7:11 pm

Thankfully these were terms Scheelite actually understood! While he was certain Senshi didn't actually rely on mushrooms with faces on them to power up, it did paint a rather amusing image in his mind. Maybe if they powered up enough some invincibility music would play...

Actually no...no that'd be -bad-. Invincible Senshi weren't something the Negaverse wanted around.

"Thanks!"
Both for the congrats and the explanation. Scheelite's smile was rather wide at this point.

"Yeah sure, what's up Hug-Bell?"
The blonde hooked his thumbs on his belt and rocked back and forth on his heels. Hyper as always, it seemed.

Hugbell smiled and chuckled lightly at the hyper general having taken Barnaby back from Schee she actually dismissed the bear to subspace for now. Schee was almost child like, he could pretty much fit into her school with the activeness.

The child noticed the bouncy animals near them and pointed towards those. "Oh hey, want to sit down on one of those?" She was stalling a second on the main question she wanted to ask him.

"Schee, why did you join the negaverse?" She asked curiously, wondering if he'd joined willingly or if someone had just dragged him into it. Though she was unsure if she'd like the answer she was given. Though this question was the less heavy of the two on her mind.

Though Schee always seemed to be the best Negaverse officer she'd met in the time she'd been patrolling. The only officer she could trust not to try and kill her.

Hell -yes- he wanted to go sit on one of those! It was a bit awkward since they were made for those -much- shorter than him...but whatever! Scheelite made due.

And then -that- question came, and Scheelite's everlasting grin finally seemed to fade. That...was something he prefered not to think about. It ended up leading to more questions and then he started to doubt.

The Negaverse was his family, he didn't really enjoy doubting their cause. So why -did- he join?

"It...was a long time ago Hug-Bell. Long before I ever met you, there weren't really all that many agents back then, or...you guys either. There's -so many- of us around now."

His smile drooped all the way into a frown as he continued to think about it.

"I was sort of...pulled in...by our old General King. He's not around any more, hasn't been in a loooong time. And...I dunno, it just sorta stuck."

Maybe that was the nicest way to say he had been forced in.

The child watched as the happiness seemed to drain from Scheelite's face when she asked the question. Her eyes looked curiously at the negaverse agent. Most of them would've become violent by this stage, even ruthless. Few wanted anything to do with the chibis besides kill them.

Her head tilted to the side Hug-bell listened attentively as Scheelite spoke, so he had been just dragged into the war? Well, she sort of had to, it wasn't that different. Only she was perhaps born a senshi where he was just.... made a solider.

"Do you miss him?" Came the question from the child before she had a chance to really think of what she was asking. "The old king that is...."

She paused, looking a bit puzzled at what else to say, "I didn't mean to make you sad." She added, which seemed to be what had happened. The springy toy she was sitting on was bobbing back and forth. "You know what cheers me up when I'm feeling sad?" She had an idea on something that might cheer up Scheelite, deciding for now that it might be best to avoid asking him about if he didn't like being in the negaverse anymore. At least from the reaction to her earlier question, it was probably best to leave that conversation for a bit anyways.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 24, 2012 3:00 pm

....Well that was a new question, no one had ever asked him if he missed Charonite. Hell, no one really even mentioned Charonite these days. So...did he? That....was tough to answer.

"I...miss him in the same way I miss any of our fallen family. But we weren't exactly all that -close-."
Charonite -had- threatened him on more than one occasion. They weren't exactly fond memories...but he had to admit that the late General King had a large impact on his life.

"Not sad, just thoughtful. It's okay! But...what cheers you up?"
The blonde was doing his best to put his happy face back on, not wanting to worry the small Senshi.

Hug-bell watched and listened to Scheelite's answer as she thought and nodded softly. "I wish they didn't feel like we all had to fight." She added, "I mean really, we don't want to take over the earth or anything. Just... I keep hearing we can't go back 'home' either. No one seems to understand that."

The child was looking at Scheelite with a soft quizzical expression, "At least you guys do know how to come together as a family, you probably don't have that much fighting between each other either." Though Hug-bell often wondered if it was because of choice or

Hug-bell grinned, "Ice cream." She answered with a nod. "It's kind of late but a small cone would be nice. I bet it'd make you feel better." She paused, "Though they'd probably be terrified of us... dumb terrorist rumor."
PostPosted: Sun Dec 02, 2012 6:41 pm

"I understand the fighting, and yet...sometimes I don't. There's Senshi out there that I wouldn't hesitate to go after, and...well then there's you, who I just can't imagine hurting. It's a lot more complicated than any of us previously thought hrm?"

Scheelite shook his head, laughing just a bit at the idea of all the Negaverse getting along. Hey, it wouldn't be much of a family without at least a little fighting right?
"Yeah uh..no, we don't all always get along. It's to be expected, I guess. Though I wish they -would- all get along..it sure would make things easier."

Now, at the mention of ice cream Scheelite quickly got back to his feet!

"Well ice cream sounds simply -amazing-. As far as that whole terrorist thing goes..I'll let you in on a little secret. I once went munchie shopping in my uniform. It was pretty awesome! And...also a long time ago. Hrm. I...could probably run off and get some, if you don't mind waiting here for me? Can't have you seeing me out of uniform, no matter how cool I think you are."

Hugbell nodded, "I guess there's a few that I wish would just go away, but like you said. There's those like you. Unlike some of the older guys on my side though, I don't want to force anyone to purify." She sighed, "Some want to force, others want to just help, and honestly I don't know, I just know I want everyone to get along, same side or not.... that's actually I was sitting here thinking about before you showed up."

There was a small giggle as Schee started laughing. "Well you don't fight like my side does that's for sure. Most of them are more interested in arguing with each other than agreeing when someone's attacking them."

She nodded as Scheelite said ice cream sounded amazing. "I'm okay with waiting here until you get back. I could handle a youma if I had to. It'd probably be safer than knowing your version of Clark Kent." She grinned at Schee, using a super man reference wondering if he'd get it.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 04, 2012 8:38 pm

Ah...a Superman reference! Scheelite laughed at that one, nodding his head in agreement. Yeah, she was definitely better off not knowing his secret identity, nor did he have any desire to know hers. Then he'd have to turn her in...and that just wasn't going to happen.

"Alright, I'll be right back!"
And with that he was gone, though if she listened closely she could hear him mumbling something to himself about purification right before he disappeared into thin air.

Thankfully he wasn't gone all that long. That was the funny thing with teleporting, it was instantaneous! Soon enough the smiling general was back, a heaping cone of ice cream in each hand.

"Hope I wasn't gone too long! They just had so many choices...but here you go!"
He held one cone out to Hug-bell, the ice cream full of rainbow sprinkles and general awesomeness.

Scheelite figured he must have done well!

Hugbell smiled as Schee laughed at the reference. She nodded, "Okay be careful!" She said, knowing how dangerous the city could be.

She hummed as she sat there waiting for the glowing general to come back. When Schee showed up with the ice cream, Hugbell's mouth dropped in aw. That was a bit more than she had in mind... However, it was ice cream!

The child giggled, "It's fine. I know they often have so many good ones. Like the superman vanilla, it has awesome colors. She took the ice cream happily and started licking at the ice cream to keep it from dripping on her fuku.

She paused, "What were you mumbling before you left?" She asked curiously looking at Scheelite.
