It had been a few weeks since the horrific events of the haunted house, and during this time, a certain fairy had been making herself rather obscure. Although this was hardly a new thing for her; it seemed every event that was associated with Amityville had her being torn apart in one way or another, and the time taken for her to venture outside her dorm room was a good measure of just how messed up she was.
At any rate, Astra didn't want to attend spirit week, and half the reason was she didn't trust the school at the moment not to get her killed.
But it was during spirit week that she received a very intriguing note. Not because it was a tangled mess of string, but because it was being sent by one of Nurse Crickets bugs.
Upon reading the note, she looked at the lump of string with a curious look on her face. Of course it made no sense, but Nurse cricket had said not to think about the why, just to do it.

"Okay, now all I gotta do is to untangle this, then I'll be done!" She said to herself with a measure of glee. Although as she began the tasks of getting rid of the knots, she realized...this was a lot harder then it looked. The majority of the string was just a set of knots, and the more she tried to untangle it, the more she encountered another tied up obstacle.
"Er...how about I do this...ah, what if, no, this might not...But what if I do it this way...." Astra mumbled to herself, the string unraveling around herself but not diminishing. And only after she had sat there for ten minutes did she realized she had untangled the strong around herself.
"...Uh oh..." The fairy began pushing away at the string, but only managed to tangle herself further. Her attempts became more frantic when she realized the strong was tying itself more and more around her frame. "Stupid string!"
After about twenty minutes, the fairy had successfully managed to tangle herself up so much, she could hardly move.
"...Awww, man..."
It would take a further two hours for her to get out of this mess, but when she did, she found she had gotten id of most of the knots.
