The Gate in Which Access is Granted into Orion.
Orion has had problems with their Neighboring Demons over the past Forty Years, Even though the Recent lord of Demons had said that He was in terms of a Truce.
There is a Massive amount of Guards here who examine Cargo and Everyone who desires Access into Orion. This doesn't always help from keeping the Demons out, but it has still been a Productive system.
Going out, they inspect you, going in, They inspect you. Plain and Simple.

After two days travel in the desert Aster and the group arrived at the gates of Orion. The gate was hardly as grand as it once was, busted off its hinges from the battles of the earlier week. But even so, guards stood guar by the gates, looking wearily onto the dessert. They didn't care who waltzed in or not, as long as it wasn't a ruin beast. They wouldn't care. Aster looke at the ruined place before crossing the broken gates. There were scratch marks all over the walls of the tunnel "I can only imagine what happened here..." she said grimly.

The city guard had no time to be wasting with simple travelers. Elementals keeping the peace as they struggled to stop the still rampant monsters coming into the city.
Many families stranded on the streets as they struggled to buy food as workers we're everyone.

Luna stopped at the gates, this place was her home once, and though she had left it long ago she was saddened to see the state it was in now. "How awful."
Ariana had never been to this Kingdom before, and as she looked around she could only imagine how grand it had looked, but now it had been shattered. The people.... "We must help them." It came out before she could even think about it first, but even so it would have been the same.
((So there's still monsters roaming about??))

((There are always monsters looking for food. This place is abundant with helpless pray. So to expect monsters being able to break in isn't a surprise.))
An ornately dress wizard would approach the heroes. "Hail travelers. Welcome to what is left of Orion... though I imagine everywhere else is faring much worse... please. Tell me of the outside world. We are expecting some form of country to take notice of us."

Prophet eyed the guards, knowing that they wouldn't keep all the monsters away. Right now, he was in his human form, the nanosuit covering his entire body. He then saw the city, left in ruins. "By the Gods." Prophet muttered, feeling sorry for all of those who lived there. Prophet took notice of a wizard, and cleared his throat. "Not many are faring better. The White Flame kingdom is in ruins already. We do not know of what happened to the rest." Prophet said, looking down. Even for a draconian, he was tall, around seven feet.

The wizard was a little worried by the grave news. "We should have known better than to think that the rest of Fenrious was going to manage. I can't imagine how any survivors would be if they had lived." The wizard shook away what looked like morbid fear. "We need supplies desperately. Everyone is having a hard time couping. The vampires might have some land we may have. If they weren't destroyed by ruin either." He advised. "Maybe something remains in White Flame Kingdom or Arun. Arun might be able to help."

Luna looked toward the wizard, she didn't recognize him but then again she had been away for quite a long time. "There is no need to worry, we Re here to help anyway we can." She paused, "Vampires? I didn't think any of them cared for anybody but their own. But I suppose it's worth a shot, the other kingdoms...." She didn't know what else to say but there wasn't any reason not to try.
Ariana just stood back and listened not sure what to say even though she wanted to help.

Aster nodded. "We've heard no word of the other kingdoms.... If Orion is the best off, I can only fear for the others since they were far more unprepared." she said, remembering how they tried to protect the kingdoms in the first few days. And how many innocent perished in the brutal battles. "We can fend off the creatures in the area. Maybe hunt... Most ruin creatures are edible believe it or not, disgusting as it is it can help the hunger problem." she said.

Prophet smiled, even though his helmet hid all emotions. "I can take care of any vampires. A arrow might do the trick." Prophet said, looking at the others. "After all, I need some target practice. Who better than a bunch of blood suckers?" Prophet said, then he would look at the wizard. "I may be able to help with your blood sucker problem, or do some heavy lifting. Either way works for me." Prophet said, waiting for anyone to say they wanted to join. After all, he wasn't going to face a unknown amount of threats that could attack anywhere at anytime.

The wizard nodded. "We could use help in all areas really. Even if you could use your skills to just help around the city. The elementals are doing wonders, but it isn't enough to stop the ruin monsters. They seem so much stronger than what we are used too." He looked exhausted himself. As though he hasn't slept in a long time. "Our magic is running thin. Even if we can hold. I think we will be overrun soon. Our scouts have reported that another wave from the north is coming. It is like they are coordinated as well as deadly. We're not ready for that kind of attack... and I am not certain if we can do it alone. From that direction they will literally fall unto us, and our defenses aren't prepared for that." He let out a defeated sigh. "The odds are stacked against us. Like gods are striking at our very city."

Aster looked at Dragonbane then back at the wizard, having heard the city's problem. "We can take care of that. I am confident." she said. "We were among the group that defeated the Ruin. From this point onward things will only improve, so it is important for none of you to lose faith. Ruin has lost and is slowly retreating, but not quick enough... We can handle a swarm, we've defeated many already." she said. She hoped the others would agree to this. But she was confident they could fight, now that they were rested and healed. "Do the scouts know what kind of monsters they are? As the ruin has a variety."

He would look at them with a little confusion. "What do you mean... variety? We've only been seeing raptors." He groaned. "What other kinds are their!?"

Ariana pulled out her bow from her quiver and moved the quiver itself to a more reachable position at her waist. "I will be glad when the fighting will finally be over but I will help fight the swarm."
Luna looked at the wizard, "If it will help to aide you in any way I will offer to help you and your wizards defend the city." She looked at Aster, "If these creatures are indeed coordinated should we try to find out who or what is leading them?" In heart and soul she too was tired of the fighting but if it is to be done to restore the city fully once more then it must be done.
