Nickname: Jack. Just call him Jack.
Aliases: Jack, again. Just Jack.
Monster Species Type: Headless boy/Dullahan
(Though he follows the precedent made by the Headless Horseman, rather than the traditional Celtic Fae. He still possesses a weakness to gold like traditional Dullahan, but he will wear his head on his body, and his head and body are the same skin tone. I suppose you could blame generations of modernization and adaptation?)
Gender: All man. wink
Age: Physically Fifteen. He ages pretty slowly though, so who knows what it really is?
Birthday: August 3
Place of Birth: Creepy Hollow
Residence: Horror High
(One) Power: Summoning Farrah: Farrah is Jack's horse that he's had since childhood. Since Dullahan traditionally have a mount, Jeremiah would send his son to horseback riding lessons in hopes he would charm a horse. Of course, Jack wanted to be anything but traditional, so he would throw fits in front of the horses to scare them. Farrah, a pony then, responded to is by snorting at Jack and kicking him into her water trough. It was a match made in heaven.
Since Farrah is Jack's personal mount, he can summon her at any time by whistling. She is a black thoroughbred, about sixteen hands tall. Her eyes are red, something that happened when she bonded with Jack, a mark that she is a Dullahan mount. She's also about as spirited and rebellious as he is.
Jack can only summon Farrah once a day, and she must be summoned outside. If Farrah is killed in any way, Jack will take significant damage himself.
Trivia: He named Farrah after a normie movie star he'd read about once.
Personality: Lazy: Jack is all about going at his own pace. He's so desperate to do things his own way that it tends to get him into trouble. If there's an exam, expect him in his beanbag chair until the last second possible. Sports try outs? Forget it. He gets enough exercise chasing down his own head. Ghoul chasing though...
Flirty: Jack absolutely loves making other people blush. Are you a shy ghoul who tends to be a wallflower? Jack will offer his hand like a debonair gentleman. A cute boy with a shy attitude? Jack will tell you just how cute he thinks that is. Doesn't matter who or what you are, Jack is interested. Just don't expect him to to settle down, no babe, he can't be tamed. Speaking of..
Rebellious: Jack spent way too much time with dear old dad before High School rolled around, and if he never had to go through that again he's sure it'll be too soon. Jack doesn't so much have a problem with authority as much as an allergic reaction, which even he knows won't get him very far. Still, Jack comes equipped with a smart mouth and he knows how to use it. He just doesn't know when. For example...
Dumb: Jack has the potential to be smart if he'd sit down and focus, so it isn't that he's unintelligent. However, Jack is dumb when it comes to people and situations, especially the former. Jack can always be counted on to say the wrong thing, and he never understands exactly why it hurts. He's just speaking his mind right? A good example of it is...
Blunt: Jack is blunt. If he gets tired of you, don't expect him to sugarcoat it. If he thinks you're wrong, he's gonna tell you. He doesn't believe in hiding things, because keeping secrets takes more effort than Jack is willing to offer. Then again, who knows? Maybe Jack's time in Horror High might be what finally changes him. His father hopes so at least.
Height: 5"7.
Weight: With or without clothes?
Hair Color: Orange primarily, it fades to dark green at the tips. He claims it's natural. It isn't.
Hair Length/Style: Shaggy and boyish.
Eye Color: Green.
Skin Color: Caucasian?
Build: Lean, but muscular.
Clothing STYLE: Jack is the type for button ups and scarves, baggy pants and hunting boots. He refuses the cape and cravat ensemble forced on him by dear old dad.
Relationship with Family: Horrible. Jeremiah is a traditional gentleman, and Jack is...Jack. Jeremiah will probably always be disappointed in Jack, and Jack will probably always intentionally irritate his father.
Key Family / Relatives: Father: Jeremiah Joseph Crane. (Father) Isabella Elizabeta Crane (Mother-Deceased)
History: Early life: Jack was born to one of the more prominent Headless families that reside in Creepy Hollow, the only son of Isabella Elizabeta Crane and Jeremiah Joseph Crane. Isabella fell ill very soon after and passed on, leaving Jeremiah to care for her pride and joy.
During his early childhood, Jack was constantly being molded into what Jeremiah thought to be the traditional image for a Headless gentleman, sent to riding lessons and classes where he could learn more about his heritage. Jack had always shown a certain distaste for it, often refusing to go or throwing fits in front of the horses, including one time where he left his head in a saddle bag and shoved a pumpkin on the body, sending that out instead. This later just became a safety mechanism for Jack himself, which is why he has Larry. Needless to say, Jeremiah was infuriated, but resigned to see if he could at least reason with his child.
Teenage years: As Jack got older he continued to rebel, dressing in loose clothing with flamboyant patterns, flirting with ALL the girls, and listening to indie rock music to drown out his father. This was about the point where Jeremiah gave up on his son, hoping maybe someone else could straighten him out. Your turn Highschool.
Personal Goals: To do enough to graduate so he can be free of any and all responsibility.
Professional Goals: That implies drive.
Morality / Ethics: Jack has questionable ethics and even more questionable morals. He's full of himself and enamored with everyone else. This could lead to very awkward situations which he probably deserves. He doesn't understand that what he does hurts, because he's so callous himself.
Handedness: Ambidextrous, but he favors his left.
Skills: Jack is a fairly talented painter, believe it or not. He also goes to great lengths to hide this fact.
Phobias / Fears: 1. Losing his head. Jack might lose his head on a daily basis, but he can always track it down. Losing it permanently scares him, so he freaks out if he's in pieces for too long. 2. Gold. Jack has a genetic weakness to gold because of his Dullahan lineage. He hates bei around it, and prolonged exposure to pure gold can make him pass out for extended periods of time.
Bad Habits / Vices: Jack is a walking bad habit. He smokes constantly, hates commitment, and tends to be a lazy bum. He'll sweet talk you to death, but don't fall for him. He'll probably break your heart.
Quirks: He carries around a hollowed out pumpkin with him everywhere. There's a generic face drawn on it and the eyes are cut out. He refers to it as 'Larry', and it serves as his replacement head. Just in case.
Best Qualities: Jack is attractive and he knows it. He may not have the brains for the situation, but he sure does have the looks.
Worst Qualities: Jack is flighty in more ways than one. He's got a nasty tendency to flirt with anything that moves, but he really doesn't care about any of it. Instant gratification is his mantra.
Favorites: Becky, Shawna, Lucy Indie monster bands and trashy novels. His favorite foods tend to be coated in chocolate, and if he's gonna drink something he prefers it to fizz. Nothing too concrete, he doesn't feel like he can even pick his favorites.
Style of Speech:Casual with a lazy drawl. He's laid back and it shows.
Commonly used words/slang/jargon: Babe. He tends to use it as a pet name for everyone.
Lies/Misinformation: no lies it's all probably true ok
Jewlery: None at the moment, expect some hipster choker later in the year.
Tattoos: None, but he might end up convinced.
Relationship with friends: Jack doesn't make friends very easily, so when he has them he tends to hang around them constantly. Don't be surprised if he it's on you wen you befriend him, he does that too.
Key friends: Wolf.
Key enemies: WOLF. >(
Educational History: The first time Jeremiah got fed up with his son, he sent him to a prestigious Headless only prep school. Jack was kicked out within the month, the principal leaving no comments as she shoved him back at his father.
Work History: None, the lazy bum.
Key Childhood Experiences: Jack once his his head in a saddle bag during horseback riding lessons he was taking as a child. He sent his body to the lesson with a pumpkin on it instead. Jeremiah Crane was not amused. This also led to the creation of Jack's emergency head; a hollow pumpkin affectionately dubbed 'Larry'.
Key Teenage experiences: In the prep school he attended before Horror High, Jack snuck into the cafeteria at night and proceeded to steal several bottles of whipped cream to put inside the microwave in his common room. Naturally they exploded. This could contribute to why he was kicked out.
Key adult experiences: none.
Other Important details: Jack s awful and I'm sorry.
