Hobbies: Magic & the Occult -- Aradia is obseeeeessed with magic and the occult. OBSESSED! She wants to learn EVERYTHING there is to know about magical girls, the knights, the Negaverse, Dark Mirror Space, etc, and how they are all connected. She wants to know its history and its practical uses. The cat will go as far as even asking the members of Chaos for help in her quest if she feels that they will know something. Not only that, but the other avenues of magic and the occult are important to study as well. Aradia believes that all of these factions and various world beliefs are just pieces of a Big Puzzle (her words) that she will help solve.
Reading -- Aradia loveloveloooooooves reading and learning more stuff, desiring to become the most knowledgeable guardian cat in the universe. Not that she'd admit that to anyone. Most people will catch her reading How-To books, books on magic and the occult, etc. All those books you'd think that smart cats would read. But she does have her own little guilty pleasures. She'll read anything: manga, cooking books, comics, The Inquirer. If caught, Aradia would give the excuse that any book would have clues to the Big Puzzle. And while that's true, she just doesn't want to admit that she enjoys reading even the most useless stuff!
Fantasy -- Another guilty little pleasure is the fantasy genre. It's got magic! It's got the occult! Though she can't actually play video/computer or tabletop games, she'd gladly watch them in action and imagine herself in the heroes' (and villains'!) places. At least she can read the stories. If only she could actually become the hero of the story..
Virtues: Diligent -- Aradia's guardian cat duties and studies are her life. Nothing will stop her from that. No fancy shrimp dinners, no meetings with the General King, no big D&D game. Her extracurricular activities are separate from her guardian cat duties and come second. She's also very passionate and energetic when she does it too! It's the best!
Spiritual -- Aradia believes that she and the others are part of something huge, destined for something great. She herself believes that her name is linked to something with far more worth than a simple guardian cat. This is part of the reason that she works so hard on her Big Puzzle. Who is Aradia the guardian cat really? Who will she become? Who are the senshi and the soldiers of the Negaverse? These are all important questions to life, the universe and everything, and all that she needs to find out.
Magnaminous -- There is really no time for rivalries, no time to feel resentful against anything bad that happens. Stuff happens, people do bad things, and the guardian cat forgives them for it. Aradia is willing to face danger in order to do her duty and to work on her Big Puzzle. Seriously, there is just no time to be angry at someone!
Flaws: Neurotic -- If something that doesn't exactly as Aradia thinks it should go, she gets anxious. Too anxious. Senshi doesn't get her henshin pen as soon as possible? Horrible. Aradia doesn't find exactly what she's looking for when she reads a book? Must be the end of the world. If she doesn't get something done for her Personal Quest each day, it truly IS the end of the world. If she loses a senshi to Chaos? While that certainly is interesting to her, it DOES mean she's failed miserably and may lose sight of her common goal for awhile.
Socially Inept -- As a bookworm kitty, Aradia tends to be more interested in books than actual people. Her encounters with people are sometimes haphazard. Unless someone is straight forward with her, she won't understand what they're trying to say. Many nuances of speech are lost on her. Do you sweet talk her? She'll get tongue-tied and stammer (and blush, if kitties can do that!) It doesn't mean that she's afraid to talk. It's just that she isn't quite subtle.
Insecure -- After all is said and done, after all the senshi she helps and the work she does on the Big Puzzle, she still needs reassurance. Constant reassurance. She worries so much that she is doing such a lousy job that she doesn't realize that she's one of the most dedicated cats on the planet. Did.. did she do a good job? Did she do all that she could? Do you really love her and will feed her shrimp and give her a nice warm bed to sleep in? ;~;
