The choice to prolong her stay to get more experience in the stadium hadn't been a hard one for Oyumi. She did, after all, have more than one pokémon that could use the exercise out on the field. It wasn't very long after her first battle with Meimu that she entered to face against another random opponent, and as she took her place on the platform opposite the other train she fingered her pokéballs lightly. A ghost type...
She could use Meimu again - the Zoroark would have the advantage. But the point of this was to give all of her pokémon exercise and experience, and it wouldn't do her any good to pick just based on type advantages. She frowned in thought for a brief second before making her choice, throwing one of her pokéballs out onto the field to release her choice in a flash of brilliant red light. It had to be the right one. Kubiwa had been especially energetic lately - she couldn't even begin to count how many times she'd woken up with the Ekans rather enthusiastically coiled around her or one of her companions.
The ninja paused to offer the other trainer a brief nod of acknowledgment, readying herself for the beginning of the battle.

The duskull's eye began to glow, and psychic power assaulted the ekans.
