Kronos wuffed animatedly as she ran alongside her partner in crime, her eyes shining with excitement. She and Angra had just laid waste to the rolls of toilet paper in the cabin their trainers were staying in and were making their escape.
Angra was new to the team, but she already felt a strong comradeship towards him, and she brushed his side with hers as they ran.

 Indeed Angra Mainyu was new to the team but Kronos was very welcoming. She was showing all kinds of games even if they weren't the kinds of games he would have played in the past. Somehow playing them with her made them fun.
He felt her tail brush his and he glanced over. A grin appeared and he lightly bumped into her. "Beat you to the rock!" He called. He ran a little faster still unable to go easy on her.... no unable to go easy on her as he wanted someone strong to be with.

Kronos made no vocal response but, after a taunting look, put all her power in her paws. She was confident about her strength, and although she had to admit Angra was pretty powerful himself, he'd yet to see her full speed before!

Angra watched as Kronos began to pull ahead. Ah.... now he was right in thinking that she was fast. However his pride couldn't allow him to just stay behind her and enjoy the view. No he had to pour more speed into his paws. He began to pull up besides her as the rock drew near.
Soon they both passed the rock, side by side. "Ha! I won. Looks like you were just a little too slow." He mocked with a cocky grin.

"What?" Kronos barked. She was sure she'd seen her paws pass the rock first, and she wasn't a blind Zubat!
"Did not!" Kronos threw herself at him, vehemently defending her position the only way she knew how: with a badly-timed tussle.

"Did too!" Angra barked back. He was knocked over by the force of which she threw herself at him. However he quickly rolled her over and then was on top. "Ha!" He barked his eyes getting a playful glint. If this kept up they would be rolling into the nearby forest.

Kronos pouted at finding herself so quickly overtaken, but she wasn't out of the ring just yet! Writhing around to loosen his hold, she threw her weight against him again.

Kronos' writhing around did indeed loosen Angra's hold. So when she threw her weight against him it sent them both rolling over to where she was on top and he on bottom. This continued on until they bumped into a tree.
"......." Angra silently laughed at them rolling the entire way to the forest, "Okay okay..... Maybe we both finished at the same time."

If it had been another, Kronos would have continued to insist upon her win. She knew how strong she was, and wouldn't let anyone forget it!
But Angra... she trusted him. They'd come a long way since the first time they'd met, and she knew he was pretty tough, too.
"All right," she conceded, puffing herself up with pleasure in the knowledge that such an equal was her partner, and not anyone else's.

Angra nodded glad that she had at least accepted his compromise. Ark was always talking about them even if she didn't seem to really make them herself.
He got up and looked around. He then began walking into the forest but not before he brushed his tail against her.

Glad they'd come to an agreement, Kronos took the time to look around. Their fight, brief as it was, had been enough to take them into the forest. Although the edge was in sight, it was still a ways off.
She considered suggesting they return. Despite the mayhem they'd caused, she was sure they wouldn't get into too much trouble and she didn't want to miss dinner, either.
Before she could voice her thoughts, however, they were wiped away. Angra's touch had swept it away, and she willingly returned the gesture before following him into the forest.

Angra paused slightly when she returned the gesture. He looked at her for a moment and then led them into the forest. It wasn't long before they were really in the forest and the Pidgeys could be heard near the trees.
He wasn't sure what to say so he opted to say nothing at all. Instead he kept close to her to make sure she didn't get lost or anything. No, he told himself, there were no other reasons he would stick so close. But his heart felt that it was something else.

Angra might've been lost for words, but Kronos wasn't. She touched him gently with her nose as the darkness enveloped them both, a happy whine following shortly after.
"I'm really glad to have met you," she said earnestly.

Angra paused when she touched him and then happily whined. Her words took him by surprise and he felt something he had never felt before from hearing them. It almost felt like pride or being glad but it also felt like something more.
"....... I...." He started and then whispered, "I am too."

Suddenly a million Butterfrees explodes behind them both as dramatic violin music comes on.
Kronos blushed at the admittance. He had spoken so quietly, but his words resonated in her ears.
Sadly, the moment was ruined by a loud gurgling from her stomach.
