Auto-Damage: 6 The sound of her voice alone makes your ears ring. You were probably better off staying with the card guards, but it's too late now. She's noticed you, and she wants your head. Your only chance is to take her down before she gets to you - just being near her is already taking a toll on your well being. If she gets to you, you'll lose your head. Battle Mechanics Please note: Your HP is reset once you reach here!To start a fight with the Queen, take this post and use it to start your own thread in this forum! You can do this alone, or you can fight her with friends - up to a max of 6 people! (At least three is recommended!) You can kill her as many times as you want, but you can ONLY claim your prize from the Queen ONCE! As long as you succeeded to hit her at least once, you can use the thread for your claim. Before you can claim anything, though, you'll have to defeat her! All standard regular and Fear attack rules apply. But we do have a few special bonuses that you can use - be warned, you still take AUTO DAMAGE whether you attack or you attempt to use these bonuses! You can only SUCCEED at each of these bonuses ONCE. They do not stack! Eat Me: Another one of those little tea cakes? They're just everywhere, aren't they? If you wish to try for this bonus, roll 1d6. If you get a 5 or 6, you grow to twice your size! Take half the auto damage each turn for the rest of the fight. Drink Me: You're not falling for this again. You throw the little bottle at the Queen, and she shrinks down to half her size. If you wish to try for this bonus, roll 1d6. If you get a 5 or a 6, the Queen shrinks to half her size. She takes double your damage anytime you hit, for the rest of the fight! (AFTER the modifier. Rolling a miss still means you miss.) The Card Guards: Maybe they can hurt her more than you do? Roll 1d10. Whatever number you roll is the card you throw at her. Do that amount of damage, without a modifier. Be warned, the Queen of Hearts hates papercuts - she will do 10 DAMAGE to you on this turn. You may only throw a card guard once!

Junko knew what came next, she just hoped she wasn't going to be doing this alone. She stood, stumbling a bit as she regained her senses and shaking her head. Stupid cookies. Why did she think they were a good idea? She stood and listened to the two guards bicker, fixing her clothes to make sure they fit and...really not paying all that much attention to them.
Were they done yet? No. Ugh.

When the horse boil came to, he nearly started attacking the card guards. It was only because they hadn't quite attacked him that he managed to stay his hand long enough to sneak past them. He wasn't sure where to go at this point, until he spotted "Junko! Thank Jack, someone familiar, y' know what's going on here?"

Taima awoke with a headache, and the bickering of the card guards wasn't doing anything to help it. "Oh, shut up," she grumbled as she pushed past them.

At the call of her name Junko turned on her heel, smiling with relief at the sight of Petro. Oh thank Jack! "Petro! Hi! Um...well.." She gestured to the door. "We have to fight the quee--ah! He-hey! Wait!" That ghoul couldn't go in alone! She'd be pulverized!
"Wait for us!" Yes, she was including Petro in this.
The queen's shriek reached her ears, making her wince and step back with her hands over her ears. "We have to defeat the queen of hearts. Christof built her really well. She's kind of annoying..um...how were we supposed to..." She looked around, spotting the tea cakes and quickly grabbing them. "Quick! Eat these! No time to waste!" She ate one to demonstrate it was safe, hiccuping once after she'd finished and then finally growing to twice her size.
...Did she just hear her clothes rip a little? She jackdamn well better not have.

"Taima!" Petro called out to the thunder bird, chasing after her along with listening to Junko's explanation. They were going to have to fight? Huh. He could deal with that. Upon being handed a cake, Tro looked at Junko in disbelief but all the same he down the pastry. Except he more than likely ate more than he should and as a result it did nothing. In this moment of consumption, the queen managed to smack Tro hard.

Taima turned as someone called Petro's name. She hadn't seen the boil--she hadn't been looking for anything but a way out--but she had to admit to some relief that at least she wouldn't be lost alone. "The Queen of what?" Taima asked, not sure she heard correctly. Then the Queen screeched, and Taima was unsure of whether she'd ever hear anything again. She looked doubtful at the suggestion that the teacakes would help, but she supposed it couldn't hurt to try.

Oh...the cakes didn't work for them. Oh dear. Junko frowned and picked up a drink me bottle. "The queen of hearts." She answered Taima, plucking the bottle up and reading its label. Nope, not drinking.
She chucked it at the queen. The queen gave a shriek and shrank down to half her size. "YES! Hit her now, guys!"

Petro really needed to work on his timing, because just as he charged for the queen, Junko's bottle hit her at just the right moment. When the tikbalang swung for the queen's head, (since she was so eager to take his) he only struck air. "W-where'd she-?" a sudden lash at his legs pointed out just where the queen had gotten to.

Taima would gladly hit the queen if it would make her shut up already. She had the added benefit of being short; when the queen shrank, Taima was able to hit more vital parts than her kneecaps.

There really wasn't much challenge in a giant Junko attacking a tiny queen. She literally just...stepped on her like a bug.
No regrets.

The horse boil grinned as the two ghouls dealt the damage to the queen. And now that he was no longer adverse to striking ghouls, mechanical or otherwise, the tikbalang shifted to his real form, gaining an additional foot and a half of height as well as extra heft. He pawed the ground twice and kicked off, driving fists and hooves into the mechanical queen.
"We got 'er on the ropes," he cheered.

Taima barely managed to escape the same fate as the queen as the giant ghoul's foot came stomping down. "Watch it, wide load," she snapped as she dove out of the way.

The queen was shrieking, but thankfully with her small size and Junko's huge size it didn't seem to bother her as much right now. She flicked the queen into a nearby wall with her fingers.
