Aki ran up to the wall and looked up. There was no way she could climb up that as fast as Bastion, unless...She could jump from rock to rock easily as a lean fox. However, then Bastion would know. Was it worth it? If she wanted to keep the friendship she just made, she had to. Looking around it seemed that no one else was around to see. If only Bastion knew, maybe it would be nice to have one person she could let loose around. Making sure one more time that no one was watching, the Apollo girl got down to a seated position that a fox or cat would normally be in before jumping and leaped up, being surrounded by a swirl of light. When the light cleared a small, blonde fox appeared flying up to the first ledge. From there she jumped from ledge to ledge until the fox flew above Bastion's head and landed on a rock right above him before laying down at the edge and looking down at him with her front paws slightly hanging off. She tilted her head to the side waiting for him to start questioning.

The fox's eyes widened at when the boy grabbed her. She saw the rock that nearly skewered her as the boy scaled the wall one handed with her in the other arm. Once at the top he laid her on his chest where she sat and stared at him in disbelief. Bastion just saved her life! What should she do. Well, first letting him know the truth might help. Wow, you saved my life. She thought to him, standing up on his chest and looking down to him with a worried expression. In her fox for she was able to project her thoughts which was the equivalent of talking. Are you alright, Bastion? Are you hurt? I'd feel offal if you got hurt? She bent down to be looking up to him with her ears bent back and her fluffed up tail swaying behind her.

Aki sighed and looked back up to Bastion, her ears still bent back but now more out of disbelief at his denseness. Bastion, I think you're missing the big picture here. The blonde fox noted to her new friend. He didn't seem to get that she was the animal. Her voice hadn't changed, so it should be obvious. Though her mother once told her that men were the slowest creatures on the planet.

The fox nodded as Bastion held her up. Yeah She confirmed. Yeah, it's me. Hi Bastion. Aki was honestly terrified off his reaction. How would he feel about her being an animal.

The little fox pouted to the boy and let out a small yip and growl. It's not funny! She thought aloud angrily. When I was younger a Hecate child came to visit my Aunt's shrine and monsters came and attacked us. While he was fighting he accidentally hit me with an incomplete transformation spell and made me half fox. Now I'm stuck as a fluff freak with ears and a tail. Even worse every new moon I'm stuck like this, as a little, fluffy helpless animal. There's no way I can let anyone know! 'll end up as someone's science project! Do you understand Bastion? Tell me, please, that you understand the severity of this! If Aki was any more worried she may have exploded from the stress. All she could do was pray to the gods that Bastion got what she was trying to explain.

Aki became surrounded by a bright swirl of light. When in cleared she was back to her usual self. "Then what were you laughing about? And you have to be honest to me with EVERYTHING from now on since you know such a big secret about me, got that?" Aki still wasn't too sure that she made the right choice, but there was no turning back now. She had to have faith in Bastion. Hopefully her gut feeling about him was correct.
