~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- He jumped back and landed on his bare feet with his claw-like hands in a ready position for the next attack. He had tried to reason with the woman that was wreaking havoc in his forest, but she just didn't want to listen to reason. He hated it when situations got like this. "Why won't you just listen to me and stop this senseless violence!?" he shouted at her as she came in for another attack. Yep, he truly hated how evil the world was, it was despicable.

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ They had attacked each other and now were sent back from the force. This creature she encountered was a tough fighter and the thought made Maiya snicker, for she never sees anymore of them out to entertain her. She landed on the branch of a tree, standing as she started pulling back all of the strings that she had used from that attack and set them up so that she could use them again by clasping her hands and parting them again. This was a technique she had learned from her sensei, who is now long gone. She tried to find a way to keep him still so like a snake, her puppet strings could crush him and disassemble him like a doll. She became distracted after hearing the boy's comment and started to laugh, almost evilly, like a witch, like the bad guys in the Disney movies. "I find you entertaining boy," she started with her loud voice, plucking the strings in one of her hands as they made a harp-like sound, "I find violence entertaining, I find the screams of the wretched creatures here entertaining." Maiya coiled the strings around the tree as she jumped off, her hair flying, her eyes glowing red and tried to scratch the boy with her sharp dog-like claws. ┙ Ί am forever cursed to do your bidding. ~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- Before she had gotten the chance to scratch him, he grabbed her by the wrists to stop her. "I'll admit that the creatures in the world are truly despicable," he began before he attempted to slam her to the ground with all his might, "But HOW ARE YOU ANY BETTER?!" he shouted as he threw her to the ground. He then stood back in case she tried anything and said "Humans, monsters, and demons alike do some pretty despicable things, but how does killing, hurting, and massacring them help at all? All you're doing is spurning more hate and anger, which is what drives them to do what they do that's just so despicable! That's why I am trying to create peace amongst the creatures, so that no one has to suffer!" he finished, stating how he intends to fix the problems around him with a commendable passion.

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ She was slammed to the ground, and in result, she started tumbling to the side, her long, brown hair wrapping around her like a blanket, a cape, or a shield to soften the impact. Maiya, during the fall, found her way back up with her legs by shifting them at an angle and was now a few feet away from her opponent. Her white, vanilla-like legs were stained with mud and her kimono was as well. Her hair protected her face, so nothing was going to go upon it, but her hair was now colored in a mushy brown. Maiya struggled a little bit just to stand, but then after a few seconds, she was back into fighting again. "I know I am despicable." she said, smoothing out her hair as she grimaced from the feel of it, but then smiling evilly after a few swipes of the mud off her hair, "It's fun to see their little hearts twist and melt, and break and shatter. They're all weak." Maiya didn't want to waste her strength coming in for a close battle and decided to use her strings once more, now that they were ready. She raised her hands and swiped them down to the left, making the strings that coiled around the tree she landed in before cut, and a large piece of trunk was now headed for this boy's way. ┙ Ί am forever cursed to do your bidding. ~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- "!! How dare you!" He shouted at the tree came falling down on him. He didn't move from his spot, but instead he held his ground and caught the tree, stopping it from falling to the ground. "Yes they're weak, and that's all the more reason why we should protect them! All life is sacred, and if you can't understand that then maybe you need to take a long time to THINK!" As he said the last word, he chucked the tree right at her with all his might. He wasn't going to hold back in this fight anymore, and jumped right at her after the tree, using it as more of a distraction to block him from view so she wouldn't see him coming.

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ She smiled as her plan backfired on her and with her claws, cut it like an overgrown weed in someone's garden. She then changed her expression as the boy suddenly came toward her. She didn't look cold at all, instead, Maiya looked helpless, as if she was one of the weak creatures she hated. "If so," she started, sounding as weak and helpless as one of the ones she had killed, "Why do you kill one such as I? Who has lost everything before the day I was able to contemplate a tree from a bush?" She had started to think how funny it is just from luring a few men and ruthlessly slaughtering them like pigs would turn out into the fight of her life, bringing down trees and cutting down people. ┙ Ί am forever cursed to do your bidding. ~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- Mori heard what she said, but did not waver as he kept coming at her. However, that does not mean that his strategy didn't change. When he heard what happened to her, he finally understood her reasons, and could only feel sympathy for her. None of this showed on his face as his jump reached its climax, and he spread his wings to stop himself from moving any further, for he was now directly in front of her, still wearing his serious face. He could see from her expression that she felt helpless and confused, and only moments after spreading his wings, he came up to her very suddenly and wrapped his arms around her in a comforting hug. "It's alright, you don't have to hurt people anymore. Just stay here with me and live in peace, . . Can you accept that?" he asked in a comforting and tender tone, trying to calm her down and get her to see that he didn't plan on killing her.

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ As he hugged her, she felt a sense of warmth and comfort that she had never felt in ages, but then her mind once again, shifted from the sentimental feelings and back to her brutal, killing ones, pulling a dagger from her side and stabbing the boy in the side with it. She smirked as she pulled it back, her face, just a few inches away from his with a smug expression. "That doesn't mean that I would want to live peacefully, you know." she whispered as she waited for his reply. ┙ Ί am forever cursed to do your bidding. ~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- "!! But why continue fighting? Is it some kind of revenge quest?" Mori asked, surprised that she stabbed him with a dagger, but not moving from his spot. He stayed there, holding onto her in that same warm hug, trying to commune his feelings of peace to her in any way he could. As he stood there bleeding out, he merely gave her a warm smile and said "You don't have to do something so unnecessary, it's a waste of your talent."

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ Maiya tried to escape from his grasp, but it was a little too strong for her. Not to mention the fact that she was small and light, which in this case, serves as her big disadvantage. "A waste of my talent?! How naive!" she shouted, remembering her years back as a mercenary for the wretched weak humans, "I wasted my talent ages ago, what you see now is what's left of me." Maiya pulled more strings from her hair and took back the strings that were attached to the tree she had just cut away from. To try and get away, she fastened them to the ground to try and add to her weight and then pulled, finally escaping from his grasp as she jumped a few feet back, pulling out kunai from her sleeve as she stood in a defensive stance. "You'll just have to kill me if you want me to stop," she added as she gulped, thinking about what she had done before, "It's your only choice." ┙ Ί am forever cursed to do your bidding. ~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- "No, it's not. As I said before, all life is precious to me. Every time I deal with those who try to upset the peace here, rarely ever have I needed to kill anyone, and I don't plan on doing that today. You are a skilled fighter, and a beautiful woman, you need not waste away your life brooding in the past. You should accept peace and embrace life, that way you can be happy." he told her without moving from where he stood in midair or showing any signs that he intended to attack her. He gave her a warm, understanding smile as he stood there, waiting for her response.

☾ Ӎӑῑұӑ ☽ ┏ "Weak! Weak! The lot of you!" Maiya shouted impatiently as she threw her Kunai at the boy, following behind it as quick as lightning or thunder, "Ones who can't kill are weak! Ones who hesitate are weak!" she truly sounded insane, as if something was controlling her and what that was you ask? Well, it may be a certain drive from the past, the past or the present? Nothing mattered, she was now running to this boy with a set of sharp blades that she aimed toward his heart to stop him from uttering the beliefs of the weak. This one wasn't going to be of help to her at all, he was just going to be another hindrance, another victim she will have to do away with. What a pity, but it was worth a try. ┙ Ί am forever cursed to do your bidding. Ί am forever wandering in the maze that is your heart. Ί shall never find peace in you.

~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- Seeing her refuse his offer so passionately only upset him. He grimaced at the kunai she threw at him and effortlessly batted it away with the back of his hand. He then waited for her to approach and swiftly smacked the weapons out of her hands, without hesitation, grabbed them in midair, and pointed her own blades at her throat. He then smirked and said "I wouldn't call it hesitation. No, more like mercy, forgiveness. Do you understand now? I don't hesitate when I fight, but I intentionally let them live because they can do so much better with their lives, and so can you!" He was genuinely calm as he spoke, his voice not cracking or hesitating at all. He looked straight at her face, right into her eyes as he waited for her response. He knew that no one could believe her were lying when he told them these truths while staring directly into their eyes, for the eyes were the windows to the soul and gave away if someone were lying.
