Comet heard a voice and hopped into the bank to see where it came from. Seeing the pokemon's intention, he decided to jump the gun and shot a quick blast of water at the Ponyta.

Comet had never seen a pokemon jump so high, and just kind of watched it go up and up and up. Then it came down very quickly, right on top of him. In retaliation he shot out waves of water.

Once again Rei managed to avoid getting confused. "Rei use Solar Beam!" Xander called and the ponyta paused to soak in the suns rays then shot the beam.

Comet was blasted by the bright beam of light, blinding him for a moment. He blinked to get the spots out of his eyes, then shot out more waves of water in all directions, in an effort to hit even if he couldn't see well.

Comet was able to scramble out of the way before the horse could squash him this time. He jumped away, then turned to shot a quick burst of water over his shoulder.
