The biggest city in the Gaia region. ( what's a pokemon region without a huge city) Amy the electric master has her gym here. An old woman that rates the names of your pokemon lives here. no one knows but there is an underground lair where all of Ghetis's operations are being produced. The radio tower is also here. A department store is located here as well.

The nightmares continued to plague the population yet Darkrai still felt no closer to finding the creeps who took Cresselia. Maybe he was being too subtle? Darkrai had been appearing in people's nightmares personally to demand to know where Cresselia was yet no one seemed to really care. They mentioned the odd nightmares on the news since they were so widespread but it seemed like he was still not getting anywhere.

"Maybe I do need to be more direct..." Little kids did seem to be better at listening to Pokemon so he'd try them next. Darkrai found an elementary school and made his appearance at the top of the giant playset. Fifty-three children of the age of 9 watched the living embodiment of nightmares grandstand.

"Children of Stellar City! I am Darkrai! Shadow of creation's soul! Terror of the night! Lord of Nightmares!"

"What's a Darkrai?"

"That's me. I'm a Legendary pokemon that represents nightmares kid."

"Are you really the Darkrai that makes people fall asleep?"

"He's kinda cool looking. Do you think I can catch him?"

'Yes, I am the Darkrai and thank you I do look rather cool-Put away that pokeball! Yes you! Put it down slowly. No sudden movements. You too little girl in the pink shoes. Don't think I can't... what are you doing?"

"I'm going to tell teacher. I think you're against school rules."

"Why would they even make a school rule specifically to keep me off... Never mind. You're probably wondering why I'm here but never fear! I'm not here to harm you!"

"I thought you said you were Darkrai? Don't you cause nightmares from being near people?"

"Yes, but you're all awake."

"Nina was taking a nap."

"Go wake her up then! Sheesh, who takes naps during recess? Okay. This is serious people. Cresselia was kidnapped. For those who don't know she is the embodiment of good dreams. If she's stuck in a pokeball, a lot less people in the world are going to sleep well. I need you to tell people that I'm going to go around making life miserable for people until she is returned to the wild."

"I bet you're not really Darkrai. Legendary pokemon don't come here and you aren't going to go around being mean to people."

"I'm made of shadows. The shadows of your mind's darkest fears. How is that not scary?"

"That's an unfair stereotype of Dark pokemon. You're not scary at all too..."

"Yes. But if you were asleep I'd be terrifying."

This plan to make people take him more seriously simply wasn't panning out.

"Oh for pete's sake, how hard is it to just tell people that I'm scary and going to-" Darkrai's claw shot up to point to the newly-arrived object of aggravation, Indigo. "You again?! Wasn't being cursed with eternal nightmares enough?!" The children on the playground fell silent with their questions and decided that Darkrai actually was scary after all. The children as one ran back to their classroom with relief when they heard the bell though some children chirped happy goodbyes and requests for him to come visit again sometime. He just stood stiffly and gave an exasperated look to the parting children. This wasn't helping his case. "Indigo was it?! Haven't you had enough?! I don't need your help though it would be in your best interests to seek her out. You aren't going to ever sleep without the light on again unless she helps you..." Darkrai chuckled. I guess I should thank you though. You are right. I am supposed to be scary. What with being holed up so long on my island, people have forgotten that there are things in the dark best left alone. Fear is the first line of defense against idiots getting themselves hurt.

"Smartest thing I've heard you say. I've got people to go scare. Bye." Darkrai sank into the shadows again with the intention of leaving.

A sharp bird cry pierced the air. "Oh. Drat. I told them I'm scaring people, why can't Articuno let me do my job?"

Darkrai looked up at Articuno and glared. "I can handle it without his help thank you very much and you're one to give advice. You're always arguing with your siblings. Pfft. Fine. I found some things at Fullmoon island with the team Gamma insignia. Feel free to investigate kid but if I were you I'd go visit Articuno, he seems to have taken a shine to you. You may get a visit from someone spouting prophetic nonsense too." Darkrai melted back into the shadows to go sulk somewhere until nightfall. He wasn't particularly happy that Articuno was right nor that he might very well end up working alongside this guy since he was a Guardian. Darkrai consoled himself with the thought that his own Guardian seemed like a reasonable guy and a lot less annoying than Indigo.

In case you haven't guessed already Darkrai doesn't particularly like Indigo due to terrible first impressions.
