(Back Log)

Izrail the blue giant lion, made his way though the dense bright green jungle. There were colorful and unique flowers on the ground, some even looking a hair dangerous. Then there were vines crawling up the trees. Izrail's head was looking upward as he walked, with a lack of grace. He was trying to see how high the trees were and if there were any odd species up there. As he walked he kept tripping on the large tree roots that stuck out of the ground, or grass would tangle around his paw, pulling him to the ground.

He knew that walking would be a tad bit easier if he looked where he was going, but the trees were much more interesting then the ground. If someday he managed to get better at climbing trees, he would try one of these trees. They were larger then any he had ever seen. As he walked further, he started to lower his head to see the path in front of him. He did have a task after all. Daydreaming about climbing trees was not apart of it.

His mother had passed away recently. She had always been ill, since he could remember. Despite being a larger lioness she was always catching some sort of illness. The few times she wasn't ill, she was too weak to hunt for herself. As her only offspring, it was his duty to keep her safe and fed. There were even times where he had to use a shell of a turtle to bring her water. It had been tough for both of them.

As death started to take hold of her, she told him about his father for the first time. The lion named Majanga. She didn't know too much about him, other then where to find him. The forest pride of Mizani. He was the leader of a small pride there. Majanga had told her that if she did have any offspring, that he expected her to bring them to him. At the time she had been in love with him, and agreed, but after having Izrail, she wasn't so sure. Then she got sick and they couldn't move around as much. She never even mentioned Majanga to Izrail until she was near death, and then she told him everything she knew.

Now he was searching for him. He had wanted an offspring so badly, she told him. More than anything he wanted to meet the male who him mother had been so in love with, yet she never shared with Izrail. He just hoped he would be able to find Majanga in the jungle. There was a lot of ground to cover.

Nuu'l lay on a tree branch about half way up. He held a continues glare at the jungle floor, his tail angrily flicked back and forth. There was a time that he had gotten lost in his anger, his hate. He had done more damage to himself then to anything else back then. But Majanga had changed that. He had learned to harness and temper all his hate, anger and rage.

He had become strong.

His musings were cut short when he heard a branch crack. He held perfectly still and waited to see what had dared to trespass upon Sith territory. He sneered as he saw a large, stupid looking lion walk past, oblivious to the lethal threat looming above him. A sudden spike of anger hit him and he lunged down suddenly in front of the blue lion. Crouched low in a fighting pose, ever inch of him looked intimidating.

Snarling, he roared at the other male. "These are Sith Lands! Under Lord Majanga's rule none are to enter!:

Izrail stepped back, expecting an attack. However hearing the name 'Majanga' made him smile. He didn't really notice how threatening the lion was. Izrail just briefly thought that the lion was having a bad day or something. The moment the lion said Lord Majanga, Izrail's ears closed up and his mouth dropped. His father wasn't a common lion, but a lord! “Friend, can you take me to Lord Majanga? I am looking for him.” Izrail said to the lion.

He glanced around, walking in a circle. “So this is Majanga's land. Not too shabby, not too shabby at all. I think I will like it here. Do you live here? Do you like it?” He said, his attention going back to the lion. “Oh and if my father is Majanga, that means you are one of his subjects or followers or something right?” He said, as usual not really thinking of what he was saying. His eyes went to where the lion had jumped down from and looked up at the tree. It was a ways up there.

“Do you reckon that I could climb that tree? Not now of course, but maybe if you gave me some pointers?” Izrail asked. Then he looked at the lion in shock. “I am so sorry. You don't even know who I am and I am asking you favors already. My name is Izrail. I am looking for my father whose name is Majanga. I think he might be your Lord Majanga. Do you think you could take me to him?” He sat down as he explained, looking at the lion.

Nuu'l was stunned with how quick this lion started talking. Showing not the slightest bit of fear. Surprise turned in to annoyance as he kept talking. Annoyance turned into bubbling rage as HE WOULDN'T SHUT UP. He was about lunge and attack when the words 'Majanga' and 'Father' penetrated the anger buzzing in his ears.
The thought almost made him laugh. This idiot? Even though he was large, larger even then Nuu'l, he looked about as threatening as a hare. How could he possibly be the son of the Sith Lord? ... But, if it turned out to be true, and he DID attack him, his Lord would be furious if he found out. And he would find out. It stayed his claws.

Though it did not stay his anger or his tongue.

"SHUT. UP." He roared His upper lip turned into a sneer as he began to circle Izrail. "The very thought that you might be Lord Majanga's spawn is laughable. You look pathetic and weak, two things my Master is most defiantly not. What proof do you have of your lineage?" The static buzz of rage was beginning to return.

Izrail mostly kept to himself when his mother was ill, always telling her little stories to cheer her up. He never really had the chance to meet others. This meeting however wasn't going as well as he wanted. He was getting the feeling he was angering the lion before him, noticing the anger in his voice and that threatening look in his eyes. "Sorry if I angered you," He said stepping back. "I just thought that if this Majanga was my father you could show me to him. No harm done right?"

He did his best to 'shut up' but even more thoughts ran through his head. How could he prove he was the son of a lion he had never met. "Ah my mom. she always said I looked like him, sorta. I had her coloring but his markings. She said that he called them the markings of a sith." He hoped this would convince the lion before him to show him to Majanga. If not, well at least he got to go on a little adventure before he died.

"Please, if you won't let me see Majanga, don't hurt me. I mean, I haven't even had a chance to really live. All I've done since I was little my take care of my mother. And now that she is gone, Majanga is the only one I have left. I need to see him, she told me that he wanted a son and here I am." He could have ran for it. Hell that would have been a much better plan then trying to reason with this terrifying lion. However he hoped that his words would ring true, that the lion would show him to Majanga and he could finally meet his father.

Honestly, did this lion EVER stop talking. But now, now he could begin to see a bit of fear finally start to bubble to the surface. He listened to his incessant prattling and was angered to hear truth spoke in them. The lion's - This Izrail's- markings did indeed bear resemblance to his Master's. That, along with his large stature, mean that if Nuu'l WAS to attack, his Master would be sure to punish him for not confirming his lineage. He was without an Heir after all. Not that he thought weakling would be a worthy one.

He gave one last, silent, circle about the other lion before speaking. "Ch, so be it. I will take you to Lord Majanga, quit your sniveling. You are to be in the presence of the Sith Lord. He will be the one to decide whether your claims hold truth, and your fate." He began to walk, caring not if the fool followed nor if he attacked. It would only give him justification.

At last he would meet his father. He couldn't help but grin. His father Lord Majanga. Izrail had no idea that he was related to someone so special, so important. He wished his mother would have told him sooner. Perhaps Majanga could have helped her in some way. But that was the past. He needed to look to the future.

He followed behind the lion, keeping a fair distance away from him. As he walked he realized that he didn't know the lions name. "Excuse, but I never caught your name." He said, giving the lion a half smile. He hoped that it was okay for him to talk. The other lion obviously didn't care for him much and was probably annoyed at him. However now that the lion was taking him to Majanga he was sure he wasn't in harms way, that he could speak without worrying too much about his own safety.

He was enjoying the silence. It was giving him precious time to reign in his temper. It was a skill he had developed over years of hard work and pain. Lord Majanga's lessons were not kind, but he never expected them to be. He never expected anyone to be.

His tail flicked in anger as Izrail spoke again. "That is because I did not give it. Nor is it of any importance. If Lord Majanga deems that your claims are true, perhaps I may spare the care of giving it to you."

Izrail's ears went back. He had thought that maybe they could have been at least on good terms, but he guessed that it wasn't going to happen. He did his best to be silent for the trip, but the thought of finally meeting his father excited him. Even while walking with the serious male, he still had a bounce in his step.

The thing that worried him was if his father was like this lion. He never had any time to imagine what his father was, so there wasn't anyway Majanga could fail to meet his expectations. However, Izrail had always hoped that he would be close to his father, that even if Izrail was awkward, his father would still care about him. However this lion wanted nothing to do with him. He hated to think what he would do if hims own father felt the same way.

"How long till we get there," he said quietly, hoping not to annoy the lion anymore then he had already.

Just as Izrail asked when they would get their they entered into a large clearing. To one side a giant cliff face climbed for what seemed like forever, a wide tunnel entrance yawned at its base. Around the clearing where old, broken, vine covered ruins. Lingering around were the few Sith that Majanga had managed to gather. A number that his Lord was hoping to increase. A few glared at the stranger Nuu'l had brought into their midst but he just sneered back at them. A warning.

He turned back to Izrail. "Lord Majanga is in the large building over there." He gestured to the only building that looked to be at least somewhat stable. "Have the Sith at the doorway announce you to him under Orders from the Apprentice." He turned around and headed back into the forest "What ever your fate is, it is not in my paws anymore." With that he left to return to his post until the next guard rotation.

Izrail cleared his throat. This was it. His father, his fate awaited him. He stepped forward and started up the path that led to the building. With all the eyes on him, his legs became shaky. Thought of regret started to linger into his mind and he debated if it was worth it. There had to be a reason his mother never mentioned Majanga, he reminded himself. The attitude of those around him, made him wonder what his father would be like, being the ruler of them.

He approached the sith at the doorway. "My name is Izrail. I am here to talk to Lord Majanga. It is under the Orders from the Apprentice." He said quietly. He felt most of his excitement drain away. The announcer went into the building, into the darkest parts. There were whispers, then the announcer returned.

"Follow me. Lord Majanga will see you now." The announcer said, leading him into the dark building.
