Tian was glad the night was coming to an end. There hadn't really been anything eventful today, but she didn't mind. The excercise itself was good enough to clear up her mind from the mass amounts of studying for tests at school. School was stressful, but she was going to keep going until she became a doctor. "Hm... I don't have much of a goal as a Senshi though..."

Her mind was pondering the possibilities. It ranged from her just continuing doing it mindlessly, or really put effort into becoming a princess. Sutai said it was possible. Then again... All she wanted to do was bring life to her star once again. "Is that even possible without being a Princess? What if I'm not even one?"

There was an energy reading nearby before she even realized it. Thankfully, it was Order aligned. Tian's mind was definitely not ready for a battle tonight. She just wanted to enjoy herself. As she ran towards the source, Tian remembered the figure. He was one of them that she met after coming back from the Surrounding. The memory made her smile, despite her depression at that time.

Tian couldn't recall his name, but she called out to him. "Hey! Mr. Knight! You're that one I talked to awhile ago right? I was the..." Tian was unsure of how she should approach it. "I was the depressed girl after coming back from the Surrounding. You're the one that taught be about the powered people protecting civilians!"

"Well, he wouldn't remember me in this form, I guess, but it's worth a try!"

Camelot was on his patrol, as per usual, though his mind was filled with worries and weight. Everything seemed to be happening at once, good and bad, and he was having a difficult time processing it all in a reasonable method.

When he felt an energy signature and heard a voice calling to him, he turned to see a senshi waving at him. It was not one he recognized, and he immediately felt guilty.

Was he supposed to recognize her?

"Oh! I remember you, though you were not... I mean. I don't remember you in this form, I think? Ah, it's making my head fuzzy trying to think." The magic that protected their identities was very strong, that much was clear to him now after having a few run ins with it.

But he did remember that instance, regardless of if he could apply it to this senshi or not. He smiled warmly, though he noticed that she had not called him by name.

"Camelot," he said, politely nodding his head.

Tian smiled at him. "Yeah... I wasn't in this outfit but a HITs uniform that day... I'm new at this whole 'Senshi' thing, but it was an interesting twist after being one of those that came back from the dead." She laughed, happy to see a familiar face from before her life became more hectic than before.

"Nice to meet you, officially, Camelot." Tian held out her hand for a handshake. "I'm TianGuan, or just Tian for short. I'm the Senshi of Masks!" It had been a long time since they talked, but even then, Tian had felt safe around him. If they were to be in danger now, she wouldn't be surprised if Camelot could take them down himself.

"Don't worry about it though! How have you been doing?" Tian paused as she counted in her head. "I think it's been over a year since we first met... Oh! How's that little dog you were taking care?"

Camelot smiled.

It was so good to see more people from that whole event, and to know that they were awakening on the good side. There had been some upsets, and difficulties, but lived seemed to have moved on and everything was working in its way to build its own brand of normalcy.

Even if normal, for some people, now became this war.

He took her hand and gave it a firm, but friendly, shake. While holding it, he bowed his head a bit, just to be polite. She was a lady, after all. And he was a knight.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Tian!" He smiled and chuckled. At the mention of the dog he had to stop himself from telling her a multitude of stories concerning Dogby. Because that would give away his identity. Though, he now kind of knew hers, so he supposed it was not entirely fair. He relaxed a bit.

"She's fine. It's actually my dog, and her name is Dogby." He chuckled. "It's difficult to have a very attention demanding dog and dual identities. But I think I am also very protective of her..."

Tian was surprised that Camelot was so polite. It wasn't that he had been rude at all before... It just seemed like people seemed more and more rude as time went by. She smiled though, feeling that it was nice to see someone that was still chivalrous. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well!"

"It... Totally never crossed my mind that the dog was yours and not a strangers," Tian told him with a laugh. "But I totally know how it feels to balance all this--" She motioned to herself, Camelot and everything around her "-- With my girl since... She gets antsy if she finds out I'm not home when I'm supposed to be. Dogby seems like the cutest name!"

Dogby was, unknowingly of course, the reason why Tian even pursued getting a dog. She was lonely at home and even was she wasn't lonely, studying to be a doctor stressed her out a lot. "Having a dog helps relieve a lot of the stress though!"

Before Camelot got to speak again, Tian spoke up. "I really do have to thank you, though. During that time, I felt more than depressed about anything, with or without my dog Cotton..." She trailed off just a little bit. "I think if my hatred grew, I might have become Chaos aligned..."

Camelot chuckled as he listened, nodding his head slowly. It was sometimes very difficult trying to keep his secret from his son and step daughter, though he was very glad that his wife was a knight, as he was, and they did not have to lie to each other.

Though even that was a double edge sword. It was nice not to have to live a double life with her, but he also now had to deal with her being in the line of fire, and putting herself in danger every day like he did. It was something he would rather do alone, to protect her and keep her and the rest of the family safe.

At least Dogby asked no questions, and was all but oblivious to any bad things going on around her.

He often found himself jealous of that dog.

When she thanked him, he smiled softly, though he was serious by the end of her words. He shook his head, moving to pat her on the arm.

"You were destined for Order, and your heart knew that. Even if your mind questioned everything around you. It wasn't me that kept your heart pure. I am glad you are feeling better now, though. There are many difficult times for us, in this war, but you've already proven you're strong enough to bounce back. I think you should be proud of who and where you are now. I barely know you, and I feel proud of you."

Tian was flustered as she listened to Camelot speak. She knew that she had thought negatively more times than not, but his words were, once again, encouraging. She smiled at him, happy to hear what he had to say and pleased that someone else didn't think she was dark-hearted. "I'm glad someone else told me that. Sometimes it's hard to convince myself, even though I'm here now."

"School probably helped a lot though." Tian though about the time she spent at the Surrounding and could do nothing to help others. She hated it. No all evil people killed, but she knew that more often than not they would if they had to. It already happened once where she was nearly killed. "I've wanted to help people since the Surrounding, and now I have two: being a Senshi and studying to be a doctor!"

She still held a strong smile. "I'm glad someone else believes in me too. I''ve heard of... Senshi switching sides... Corrupting. It scares me sometimes, but I know that they'd do more to harm people than help. I could never let myself do that."

Camelot smiled at her. He had faith that she would find her path, and she would prove to herself that she was what she was meant to be. That this was not a mistake, and she was chosen for a reason.

Doubt would lead to corruption, and he could not bear losing more of their ranks to the promises of Chaos. it was so alluring, and there was very little to offer.

"A doctor? That's impressive. I can only imagine how difficult that has to be for you, I know that it eats a lot of time. I mean. Either way. Being a senshi or studying to be a doctor... I don't think I would have it in me to do both."

He caught himself before he said something that began with 'you kids today'. Though it was going to be a compliment about how much they could get done at once, he realized how old he would feel and decided to avoid that horror.

"I'm glad you said that. I mean. Corruption... it isn't called that lightly. And the way Chaos works, it steals a large part of someone. They become slaves, whether they realize it or not, to Chaos. It's our duty to prevent that, and to try and save those already in its grasp."

"I don't know how I manage it either," Tian told Camelot with a laugh. "Studying is hard, but it doesn't seem as hard as being a Senshi. To be honest... It's a stress reliever when I get to run around the city. I'm thankful I don't run into trouble every night!" Exercise was something she wouldn't normally get because her head was stuck in books, and being powered up allowed her to.

Tian took a deep breath as he breathed in the night air. It was nights like this that she looked forward to. Even those nights where she had to battle helped too. Well, after the battle was over and hopefully she had won.

When she listened to Camelot talk about the Corrupt Senshi, a shiver went down Tian's spine. "Losing a part of yourself," she said in a small whisper. "I don't know how I could handle that. Losing the people I know already. Maybe losing Cotton."

"I can't believe hearts can grow that dark." Tian paused, thinking. "What about those that become Negaverse officers or Dark Mirror Court Senshi?"

There was just so much that Tian didn't know...

Camelot was glad that some nights passed without any trouble. Those nights made it seem like they were actually accomplishing something, that there was less trouble out there to be had. Or, if he was more of a pessimist, he supposed it could just be because they were laying in wait.

Plotting something.

But then, youma didn't plot, for the most part. It was easier to be optimistic, really.

Well, in most cases.

"Chaos is the same, I think, all around. It is a corrupting force, and Negaverse agents are created through the same process as corrupt senshi, only they are made through civilians. I think the dark senshi are the same. Chaos, in the hands of those with power, is more dangerous than anything I can think of." He shook his head.

Corrupting. Chaos. Dark. For the most part, the ideas scared Tian, but there was something bugging her for the most part too. Those people... They were supposed to be evil, but one in particular had saved her from things more than once. Tian finally felt like there was someone she could ask about it.

"Do... Do they all have to be evil or 'chaotic'?" Tian paused, knowing that more often than not most order aligned people would see the chaos as evil. She started to explain herself then. "One... Member of the DMC has saved me on more than one occasion. He has yet to see me as TianGuan, only my civilian form, but it's hard for me to hate someone that saved me..."

Tian's mind was having problems sorting out how someone like that could save someone like her. It's not like he knew her or was friends with her or anything. At least, not from what she knew.

"No," he said, watching her. "There is still good in them. They are people. They could be Order aligned, really, it's in them. That ability, but Chaos corrupted their potential. Some are more susceptible to it than others, and the ones that are less absorbed by it can actually be nice. But that just makes it more dangerous. It's hard to know who to trust, or how far."

He shook off a wave of sadness and tried to rouse himself out of the slump he was heading down. He smiled at her and shook his head.

"We are all fighting different wars, in different ways, but I know that we all want the war to end, one way or another. We need to find a way to peace, preferably one that does not require us to slaughter one another. I feel like driving out Chaos itself is that path."

Unfortunately, it meant fighting those that it controlled, but he was trying to free them. It was complicated, dangerous, and very sad. But he wouldn't stop fighting. Not when it kept taking things that were important to him.

"Man, I feel like I've kept you for far too long... I'm sorry, for babbling so much."

Tian was obviously confused by everything that was happening, but there was something she understood at the same time: the good in people could be taken away and also put back. Inside of her, she wished that the certain DMC would be good. That way, she'd never have to face him on opposite sides. "That's probably too good to be true though... And might change a person for good."

She felt that there was no way she would change herself. Tian had a hard time imagine being evil. Would she even be able to get any patients if people were scared of her? Would they be scared of her?

"Driving out Chaos itself..." It honestly sounded like a good idea to Tian, but couldn't a person's heart still turn dark with different experiences in life? Tian knew that she had been awfully close to having a dark heart after the Surrounding. It was Camelot who helped her see the light in the first place. Tonight, he was helping once again!

"Oh no! You're not babbling!" Tian said with a laugh. "You're... Helping me with all this even more than last time. I was really finding some bits hard to cope with and understand other parts. There's... No words I can express my gratitude with."

Camelot smiled at her and nodded his head, then dipped forward a bit in a small bow.

"You don't have to thank me. Just be careful out there, and diligent. And if you are ever in trouble, don't go alone. Call someone to help you, or if you're near the library, come find me." He nodded his head and then stretched a bit. He had been stationary for a while now, and he needed to move about some.

He tried not to look tired, though, and stifled a yawn. Sometimes he really felt his age, though most of the time he convinced himself he was young and spry and didn't need naps.

"It's been a pleasure talking to you, and I hope we meet up again and do the same. I'm always available, if you have any more questions. But I really believe you're going to be just fine. Better than that."

Tian had never really curtsied before, but she gave one to Camelot in return for his bow. "Promise! I'll stay as safe as I can get in this war." She laughed slightly at her own joke. War.. How could one truly be safe anywhere? Even civilians were not safe. "At least I can defend myself now!"

"Well, I've been slowly meeting people, but since now I know where to find you, my resources are expanding!" She put her hands behind her back and gave him a sweet smile; Tian couldn't be anymore thankful to those that were slowly coming into her life.

"It was really nice to see you again too. I'll pop by the library some time!" Tian smiled and then waved, walking in the direction of home, ready to go under her sheets and cuddle with her doggy. "Take care, Camelot!"
