Xiu would have been lying if she were to claim that she wasn't even a little nervous about the meeting today. What kind of person would her new "little brother"--Fritz, she believed he was called--be? Would he like her? Dislike her? Was he someone who was overly serious, or light-hearted and casual?
She had arrived at the designated meeting place a few minutes early that day. Perched on the edge of the large fountain in the maul, the baku absentmindedly watched as shoppers passed by, her pink eyes distant. It was obvious that her mind was focused on other things--more important things, such as her plans for the day. Both the Scarecade and her favourite cafe were on her list (the latter of which had the best cakes), but whether they would actually go depended on whether Fritz liked either of the options. She really didn't know enough about the boil to judge.
But for now, aside from brainstorming, the most that the baku ghoul could do was sit and wait. When she pulled out her eyephone to check the time, noting that it was almost half-past, her tail swishing anxiously behind her. Welp, he would be here any minute!

Well, this was pretty exciting! Having no clue with who he was paired up with, but only with the information that he was supposed to meet with someone, Fritz made his way to the maul, thinking he'd be meeting with some dude-bro. The program was called Big Brother after all. When he arrived at the fountain, he stood around the corner, peeking to see who was nearby... There was a nervous looking mouse-like ghoul, and a tall, brawny looking boil on the other side of the fountain. He must be his Big Brother. A toothy grin stretched across his face after he had popped an unwrapped candy into his mouth. Poof! A puff of colorful smoke and the imp was gone! Not a moment later... POOF! Another puff of colorful smoke suddenly went off and Fritz reappeared behind the unsuspecting boil. "OOGA BOOGA BOOGER BOOGIE LOOGIE!" he shouted at the boil... only to get punched in the face and fell into the fountain, causing a bit of splash at the baku ghoul. "WHAT KIND OF BIG BROTHER ARE YOU?!" covering his strikingly painful nose, "Jack, that smarts!" He never even noticed what happened to the poor ghoul behind him. At this point, his candy was flowing out from his pouch and began to dye the water an assortment of colors.

Xiu flinched at the sudden yell that came somewhere behind her, immediately jumping off of the fountain as a splash of water soaked the back of her dress. Ears drooping, she whirled around to face the two troublemakers when she suddenly caught the words "big brother".
...Ah. Could it be...?
Eying the imp in the fountain, she kicked off her shoes and socks, wading into the water with her hands on her hips. To her credit, she didn't look particular irritated, just...vaguely amused, if anything. As she stopped behind the boil, she cleared her throat. "You must be Fritz," She said dryly, "Are you alright?"
She turned briefly to offer the other boil--the one who had punched the poor imp in the face--a small, apologetic smile, and then reached down and offer Fritz a hand up. "My name is Xiu, and I'm your Big Sister." There was a pause, and then she frowned, gesturing towards his pouch with her other hand, "And your uh...your pouch seems to be...bleeding colors."

After holding onto his face, his hand slipped into the shallow water, supporting himself with both arms. A ghoul's soft voice caught his attention, "Eh?" snapping his head towards her, "Yah, I'm Fritz, who's askin'?" He slowly eyed the ghoul up and down with a smirk, "You're a little old for playin' in the scarlin' pool, aintcha?"
When he revealed she was actually his Big Sister, he raised an eye brow, but when she pointed out his melting candy, his jaw dropped. "MY Sugar babbuuuus!!" he gasped, frantically trying to swing his arms in the water to gather it all back into his pouch, "WHAT'S-YOUR-FACE, DON'T JUST STAND THERE! Help me get my candy back!"

...Note to self: teach Fritz a little about manners. It became quite clear that her "Little Brother" was a mischievious, carefree sort, and it also became quite clear that he was not above making demands to people he had just met. Xiu sighed, shaking her head and looking a little wry as he came to the realization that his, er, "candy babbus" were melting.
Pulling off her gloves, she obediently bent down to scoop up some of the candies, drying them off on a clean handkerchief before dropping them back into the imp's pouch. "As I said," She responded patiently as she dried off another candy, "My name is Xiu."
There was a long pause as she searched the water for any more stray candies, and then she straightened up. "I'm your Big Sister. ...How's your face, by the way?"

Scared that his new so-called Big Sister was going to make with the candy and split, Fritz quickly turned to invade her space, holding her hands with his. His mouth stretched from one side to the other. This was a little awkward, but to ensure the safety to his babus, he needed to take initiative.
"Thanks," slipping the melted candy from her hands and into his side pouch. A curl of his lip came upwards to a silly looking smile, "My face is sore but nothing like a bandage or two can't fix."
His eyes stared at Xiu for a good amount of time before opening his mouth again, "How can you be a Big Sister, you look so small and cute?" Fritz gave a chuckle and patted her on the top of her head.

"No problem. And are you sure you don't need any ice?" She cast him a concerned glance, and then began to scan their surroundings in search of somewhere in the maul that might sell ice packs or something. A department store with a pharmacy, maybe? Before she could suggest that they go and find one, she suddenly found herself being pat on the head.
...W-what?
The baku puffed out her cheeks, an action that was automatic for her, but one that only served to further support the fact that she was somewhat small and young looking. "I...w-well, I may be rather small, but I am a third year! Anyways!" Seeming eager to change the subject, she reached up to grab his wrist, gently pulling it down and away from her head, "Tell me a little about yourself, little brother! What do you like to do?"

Her puffed cheeks and pouty expression really reminded him of his own younger sis. "Adorable," he exhaled casually.
"About me? Well, My name is... Well, you can call me Fritz," he looked down at his chest, "As you may have noticed, I am a extremely clever boil." glanced up and gave Xiu a smug look, "I'm a very handsome demon, as you can clearly see," an eyebrow wiggled in her direction, "I am a fun-loving imp and I turned 16 a few Octobers ago." It seemed pretty obvious that he was talking about the very surface of who he is and wasn't being modest about it.
"Now enough about me..." taking off his wet hoodie and hung it over his arm, "Let's talk about you!"

Xiu simply sighed and shook her head at being called adorable, though the fluffy end of her tail had puffed out slightly. She then turned to stand at full attention when he started speaking, clearly uncertain as to whether she should smile or shake her head at his introduction. Clever and handsome, hmm? In the end, she settled for a wry smile, moving out of the fountain to slip her shoes and her gloves back on.
"Me? Well...I'm Xiuying, but I typically just go by Xiu. I'm a baku--a dream eater--and I'm...er. Well, I'm 16 as well." That really didn't help with the whole "Big Sister, Little Brother" thing, but there was little that she could do about that. Lifting a hand to cup her cheek, she hummed thoughtfully.
"Other than that...I have a bit of a sweet tooth, and I love to bake!" She finished with a smile and a little swish of her tail. Clasping her hands behind her, she glanced about and scanned the maul again. "I was actually trying to figure out where to bring you today. There's a really good cafe here, actually, but there's also a big scarcade if cafes aren't your thing." And if she were to base him off of appearances alone, it definitely seemed as if he would prefer the scarcade and games.
...Though if that was the case, she hoped that he wouldn't wipe the floor with her in every game.

"Zu...yi- yeah I'll just call you Sissy. After all we're siblings now, right? HA!" an amused laugh slipped out from his lips. "You like to bake? You should bake me a something sometime... You can make candy, right? Yeah, I bet you can. Those dainty fingers of yours can be very crafty. I can tell," he nodded his head in confidence and stepped out of the fountain himself. The cold yet refreshing feeling of being almost completely drenched made him waddle his way towards the ghoul in the most awkward way imaginable. "A way to win a boil's heart is by his stomach, but a big scarcade... WHO CAN SAY 'NO' TO THAT?!" he said with a goofy smile.

...Xiu wasn't entirely sure whether "Sissy" was exactly the kind of nickname that she wanted, but after a moment of consideration, she simply sighed and threw her hands up in the air. It was fine. "Well, I'm only your sister for a day, so let's make the most of this, yes?" She reached up to pat him on the head, finding herself smiling despite herself at his request.
He really was...kind of like a little brother all of a sudden.
"Yes, I can make candy. I bake a lot, and I suppose we're in the same dorm, so I'll bring you some sometime." A pause, and then she lifted her brows at him, "If you're good, okay?"
Trying not to laugh at the awkward way that he was walking, she cleared her throat. "Alright, let's head for the scarcade then!" She started moving in the direction of said destination, but looked a little hesitant as her gaze flickered back to the boil. "...Do you need to dry off first?"

"A day, an hour, 5 days, a year, what difference does it make? You and I are going to stay as pals, amirite, Sissy?" lightly elbowing her arm as his eye brows wiggled north and south. No, he wasn't trying to hit on her or anything. His intentions means well but maybe sometimes he comes off pushy. "If I'm good? When am I not?" He said playfully. Fritz was feeling pretty good about going to the scarcade. His luck with pkaying games wasn't always the best, but whenever he wins, he enjoys it! ... maybe a little too much... "Dry off? Oh, sure." Right then and there, Fritz began to take off his shoes, pulled off his socks, threw off his shirt, unbuckled his belt, unbuttoned his pants and then... Ziiiiiiiiiiiiip.Had he no shame? Probably not.

Xiu was trying not to smile--sigh, that nickname--but in the end, despite her best attempt, she couldn't help but let the corners of her lips curl upwards. "Friends? Sure...though I would like it if you made an effort to call me Xiu after this is over, Fritz." Was her name that hard to pronounce? ...Well, maybe it was, if the trouble that some students had with it was any indication. At the imp's implication that he was always good, she laughed and gave him a gentle shove. "Is that so? Then why did you get shoved into the fountain?"
The baku then watched with evident surprise when he suddenly took off his shoes, cocking her head to the side as she lifted her brows. "Er, well, that wasn't what I meant by dry off, but--!"
This surprise soon turned into disapproval as he began to remove more articles of clothing before it exploded into full out horror. When she heard the zip of his fly going down, Xiu didn't even think about it before acting.
Zip!
In an instant, she had shoved his hands away from his pants zipper and yanked it back up, holding it there for a few seconds as if afraid that he would try to pull it back down. Red-faced and clearly very uncomfortable, she made sure to button his pants back up before hissing, "Fritz, what are you doing?! We're in a maul! You can't just--!"
Aware of all the eyes that had turned towards them, Xiu bent down to scoop up Fritz's wet clothing, hooking his shoes with two fingers before using her free hand to grab his wrist. "Forget the scarcade for now. We're going clothes shopping."

Fritz knew why Xiu was getting upset, but quite frankly, he didn't care about public embarrassment. If there were eyes staring, he figured they would be getting an eye-full of sexiness. So, when Xiu freaked out at him, he merely shrugged and flicked his wings free of water drops. Then all of a sudden, the ghoul decides to interrupt his depantsing. "Ow!" Fritz yelped as she shoved his hands away. He took a step back and tried to stretch his torso to see what she was up to. Apparently, she was even bold enough to zip his fly back up and hold his pants in place. "Something wrong?" giving her a toothy grin. He was highly amused by her reaction. While he was getting his kicks, over hearing her say something about forgeting the scarcrade and go shopping, Fritz smile instantly dropped. "W-What? Ohhhh, come on, Sissy!" And before he knew it he was getting dragged towards a nearby store. "We can still go to the scarcade! Shopping is so boring, and look! My clothes aren't ruined, they are just wet! I don't need new clothes. I don't have any seeds to pay for them anyway!" It seemed like she wasn't going to listen to his pathetic attempt to persuade her... "Ughhhhhhhhhhh~!"

Gone was the quiet and docile ghoul, replaced instead by someone who was firm and no-nonsense. While Xiu would have probably let Fritz get away with a lot of things, stripping in public was (unfortunately) not one of them.
Her face was still red and her cheeks were puffed out as she proceeded to lead him towards one of the clothing stores. Did Xiu know anything about guys clothing? ...No, not really, but you couldn't go wrong with some jeans and a simple shirt, right? "We'll get something cheap, simple, and dry," She told him firmly, letting go of him once they were in the store, "I'll pay." Between having the demon boil walk around mostly naked or have him potentially get sick from wearing wet clothing, the baku decided that buying him new clothing was the best option.
She began to root through the store, flinging articles of clothing over her arm whenever she found something that looked like it would fit. If the shopkeepers thought anything about the fact that there was a ghoul leading a half-naked, shoeless, and wet boil around their store, they didn't say anything.
Before long, Xiu had a good selection of clothing hanging over her arm. She couldn't say that they were necessarily Fritz's style--there were a couple of dress shirts thrown in there--but they were dry and within her budget. She proceeded to try shoving all there clothes at the boil.
"Now go change, and let me know if you find something you like!"
