So after changing her sheets for the second night this week, the soiled bundle quickly tossed into the washer when no one else was around, the redhead known as Ofelia decided that it was time to go to the life labs and confess to them about what had been going on. It couldn't be normal to wake up with a noise bleed and soiled underwear out of no where, right?
The fact that she'd been having weird dreams totally meant nothing to her, she didn't think to connect the dots and just go from there, and everything seemed much clearer in her mind that if she went into the labs to ask some pretty vague questions she'd get the exact answer she wanted to hear. The answer, of course, was that it was just from her body still healing slowly and nothing else. Nothing at all.
It totally had nothing to do with her dreams about Before, about them doing things that even now had her wondering what the hell she was on. A list of foods before bed was slowly being compiled in a deal to swear them off, and the teen hurried her way towards the infirmary with the hopes of finding someone there. She'd prefer a complete stranger, it wasn't so bad to talk to one of them, and so the sun trainee poked her head inside and glanced around. "Ello? Anyone in here?"
She'd settled for a room that looked like a cross between an office and a patient examination area. Good enough for a start.

Sasha despised infirmary duty. There was nothing classy or glamorous about changing linens or cleaning floors - and so when Sasha picked up duties in the infirmary, she always made sure to arrive early so she got to be the one who got to take vitals instead of the poor idiot who had to clean bedpans. No thank you. As she stepped into the small room she'd seen someone enter, Sasha lifted her brows as she took in the sight of a very familiar red-headed female. "Ofie, right? I'm Sasha. We've met once before, but.. well, that was a long, long time ago." Sasha flashed the younger woman a smile. "I'll just take a few notes so that one of the doctors has less work to do." The dark-haired life trainee leaned against the counter and lifted her brows in Ofie's direction. "What's bothering you?"

"Uh." Well, Ofelia hadn't thought about like actually running into a person who seemed to know her, or was she so infamous that people knew her name before they even saw her face? Infamy wasn't a bad thing though, not really, but as Ofelia properly turned to see this Sasha she knew who she was.
She was the chick whom Ofelia had puked on her shoes. And had not even said sorry.
"Oh, uh, yeah Ah'm Ofie's s'good ta see ya again Ah guess an' . . uh." Well what a wonderful way to ramble. "Sorry 'bout pukin' on yer shoes if that was ya back there. Don' really 'member much'a the gettin' back part'a the mission, jus' knew Ah puked lots." So far Ofelia had only managed to apologize, she hadn't even gotten to her problem. Sure, Sasha was a stranger, but was she stranger enough to trust with this?

Sasha's mouth tightened briefly at the memory of those beloved shoes, shoes that she'd thrown out because they'd been stained by bile. She cleared her throat and pushed the thought aside, making a few notes on a piece of paper before reaching for the stethoscope and blood pressure cuff.
"It's no problem. Already forgotten."
She missed those shoes.
"Go ahead and give me your arm, and tell me a bit about your reasons for coming here today? Everything is kept confidential, so you needn't worry, Ofie."

Oh, well, if she didn't seem so sad about the shoes then the redhead didn't need to feel bad, but still she had to at least say the next bit. "Well, if there's any way Ah can compensate ya fer 'em jus' lemme know." That was it and the topic was dropped. Ofelia held her arm out in the manner she was sadly getting used to, sadly so easily done that her body moved without her brain even having to tell her, and she settled herself down in a chair so the far more petite woman could get to work. How was she going to explain this . . .tactfully? The reason she was there for the day was for a touchy issue, a sensative subject that still made her worried for herself.
"Ah've been wakin' up wit' nosebleeds an' wet panties fer the past few weeks now, an' Ah'm startin' ta wonder what's goin' on." She paused and was careful not to really talk or move in too much excess. Constant movement made for bad readings. "Also, been havin' weird dreams about havin' sex wit' one'a mah friends." And there was the more or less usual Ofelia, tact be damned.

It wasn't very often that Sasha could be caught unawares. She wasn't sure what she'd been expecting Ofie to complain about. Stomachache, headache, backache, sore joints, anything like that. Of anything the Sun could have brought up, Sasha was prepared for just about any topic.
Ofie's complaint wasn't one of them.
Sasha cleared her throat once, fumbling slightly with the blood pressure cuff before she arranged it around Ofie's arm. It bought her some time to think about the issues she'd been presented with.
Sasha was very very certain that it was nothing the doctors could help her with.
As she settled the stethoscope in her ears and pumped up the cuff, Sasha was silent. As she released the knob on, she was silent. As she took notes on the numbers, Sasha was silent. It wasn't until she'd removed the cuff and set the stethoscope aside that she felt prepared enough to speak.
It was really, really hard not to laugh.
"How old are you, Ofie?"

"Ah'm nineteen, why?" Ofelia was in the infirmary so often she was surprised they didn't have a wall dedicated to her. In fact she had only just been released a few days prior to her own room, able to sleep without worry of fever or anything else. "Ya think its got sommin' ta do wit' mah age?"
The silence Sasha had displayed had the redhead slightly...worried.

"Mm, no. Not.. no."
This was a delicate topic, one that Sasha was rather new to, herself.
"It's just. Well, ah. It's just.. your .. your body is just."
Sasha made a soft sound, crossed her arms over her chest.
"Have you ever been intimate? With anyone?"

"Intimate like how? As in hugs or whatever?" Ofelia raised an eyebrow, wondering just what her level of interaction with people had to do with her dreams and the nose bleeds. Had she been mentally poisoned during the last mission out, or was it when the werewolf thing attacked her and chewed her throat to ribbons?
Maybe all the medicines the infirmary had her on had something to do with it as well because Ofelia sure as hell wasn't going to admit that she herself was the problem. ******** that noise, she never was her own problem. "Ah guess Ah'm pretty. . .intimate? Though Ah'm not sure Ah'm catchin' yer meanin' there."
Intimacy was such a vague word to the teen that she tended to interpret it to her own benefit. Which wasn't what it actually meant in the slightest.

Sasha merely pressed her lips together, her cheeks pinking slightly. It wasn't like she was an old hand at this. It wasn't until recently that she'd discovered the complexities of sex, and even then it was only with one man. Despite this, there was one thing that Sasha knew. Sex was awesome. Really awesome. In fact, it was probably one of the best things in the world. "Ofie." Sasha rose to her feet. "Lets take a walk. Where do you go when you need to sit and think?"

Oh god. Sasha had asked her to join her for a walk.
Join her for a walk.
For a walk.
Ofelia was now pretty sure that she was going to die soon and that Sasha was asking her to go to her happy comfortable place to discuss this further. It must have been worse than she thought, a practical end of the world scenario now rolling in her head, and the teen paled six shades of ashy tan before she opened her mouth to speak. "Ah...go inta the kitchen ta think, or ta the beach."
If Ofelia was going to be informed of her immanent death then either of those places would be a good place to learn of it. The teen rose as well, quickly dwarfing Sasha, and she looked as though she were about to be lead off to her execution.

"You choose which place you like best. A private place. This won't take long, I promise."
She felt awkward, but she also felt as if it were her duty to explain to Ofie exactly what was going on. It would have been nice to have someone there for her back when she'd started to show interest in these things, someone who could explain how things worked in a more clinical fashion.
The expression on Ofie's face had Sasha smiling a little horribly. The taller girl looked as if she were facing death, and Sasha was going to let her continue believing it for as long as possible. It was a little too amusing. Was that horrible of her? Probably. Did she care? No, not at all.
"Lead the way, then."

Ofelia looked at Sasha and nodded stiffly, her legs and arms moving almost in a robotic fashion as the pair moved out into the hallway. She was going to end up at the kitchen somehow even if she started for the beach because it was like she had a homing beacon built in or something. Always return to the kitchen, always cook all the meals.
She kept her stride slow, her companion looked to be recovering from injuries that might have been just recent, so there was no need to rush. Maybe if she walked slowly she could delay the news that her body was breaking down, that she was doing all these things because at night her brain was desperately sending her messages about a doomed fate.
Or she could have just been having wet dreams but OFELIA DIDN'T KNOW THAT. The pair eventually reached the kitchen and the teen hurried to the nearest fridge, opening it up and pulling out what appeared to be a whole apple pie.
"If we're gonna talk, we should snack. Ya like pie?" Everyone likes pie.

"I like pie, yes."
A snack, okay, sure. She wouldn't have chosen the kitchen to divulge this very awkward information to Ofie, but if the kitchen made the younger woman feel better, well, far be it from Sasha to discourage her.
Besides, she hadn't eaten yet today, and pie sounded quite delicious.
"Go ahead and dish us up, and then we can talk."
She decided to take pity on Ofie.
"It's nothing serious. You aren't dying, Ofie."
God, she wanted to laugh, but... she didn't want to upset the Sun.

"Oh thank god." Ofelia practically slumped against the counter, leaning on it as she got out two plates and some other pieces of silverware, and a heavy sigh of relief escaped in a ragged wheeze. Knowing she wasn't going to die was a serious load off her chest, enough that her whole body seemed to lighten and her movements grew faster, so soon the teen had everything before her speaking companion. Plates, forks, and even some whip cream to go with it. "If ya wanna have it heated up lemme know, but Ah kinda like apple pie best when its chilly."
She ended that statement by sticking a fork into the end of the pie and then proceeded to stick it into her mouth. Not a bad pie, not one of the best she'd made, but it would do for this conversation.
The conversation that wasn't going to be about her death. Ofelia was so glad cold apple pie did not have a chance of being her last meal.
"So...uh...if Ah'm not dyin' or anythin' like that, what's mah problem? Ya seem ta know an'. . .well." Ofelia peered at Sasha, finishing up her swallowing before taking another forkful into the mouth.
