Climbing up over the canopy that kept you from flying over the pool lands you in another heavily forested area - but a closer look reveals that the trees aren't trees at all. In fact, every tree blossoms above in a giant, floppy mushroom head. Walking through the mushroom forest is both tedious, and exhausting. There's something in the air that's affecting your senses. You can smell it, sweet and pungent; it makes your arms feel heavy, and your eyelids droop.
There's a soft clicking sound, and an old, old face emerges, far too close to your own, from the foggy haze.
"Ahaaa. So you've come. How very brave of you. Bravery; a foolish trait, in my very wise and humble opinion. Wouldn't it be easier to just sit here with me a bit, and rest? You look tired. Take a breather."
The lazy voice chuckles as the wrinkled face backs away, rising up until the rest of the body of a giant caterpillar is finally visible. All of his tiny, stubby arms clutch a giant hookah to his body. The long stem jutting out from it is placed in his mouth, and he takes a deep breath. When he exhales, the world around you seems.. just a little less real.
"That's right. Just close your eyes and relax. Let's test that bravery of yours a bit, see just how long it can last, hmm?"

Roll a d20 to navigate the maze. Running out of bravery sends you running screaming out of the maze, and back to the beginning of the event (you must start from the rabbit hole the next day).
You have a maximum of five rolls before you are automatically sent to the end. However! If you roll autodeath or you reach 0 Bravery you're done for the day! You must start all over again tomorrow.
You may choose to roll all 5 dice at once or each one individually. Do you feel lucky?

"That was a fun game, don't you think?"
The fog all but disappears, and the caterpillar is right in front of you once more, sitting on his mushroom. He takes a long drag from his hookah, before saying another word. "But all things must end, hmm? Come back and see me when you grow up a little. Until then, I suppose you can have your prize for entertaining me for a bit. It gets so boring up here all alone.."
The caterpillar throws you a small box. Within it is a tiny mushroom, with the words Eat Me written on the attached label.
You don't have much luck with eating things lately.. but there's no harm in trying again.
Is there?
You eat the mushroom.
You shrink down to your normal size, and lose consciousness. When you wake up, you find yourself here. (For making it this far, you may claim a prize here.)
You don't eat the mushroom.
Nothing happens. You live together forever with the caterpillar. The end.
You destroy the mushroom.

Neza was drawn with the sweet smell, following it to it's origin. This was the first time she took a walk through a mushroom forest, which was not so strange because this was the first mushroom forest she ever saw. And she never felt so tired in her life from just walking.
When she sat down to rest a bit she didn't even notice a strange face that emerged from the foggy haze until the caterpillar spoke. That shook her up a bit but the effect of it didn't last long.
'' Who! Oh... ''
The size of the caterpillar made impression on this little lady and she wondered how many more cookies she would have to eat to match it's size. At least now she knew from where the sweet smell was coming from. The suggestion of closing her eyes and resting for a bit was so appealing that she felt no need to decline it.
'' Yes... I would very much like that... ''
And with a yawn she closed her eyes as she did so many times at home in her soft bed. Like she didn't have any worry in the world.
Neza rubbed her eyes while she examined walls that were surrounding her. She had no clue where she was or how she came here. The thing she was sure about was a bad headache that was testing her endurance of pain.
At this point all she wanted was to find her way back to the festival and find someone who can show her the way to her dorm where a nice room with soft bed was waiting for her.
With a sigh she closed her eyes and turned around her axis few times to decide what path to take through the maze.

All this walking started to get boring when she spotted a shadow in the distance. She stopped to try and make heads and tails of what she was looking at when she heard familiar voice. At first she wasn't sure where to place it because the shadow was crying out in pain but as soon as she heard cries for help she knew it was her dad. She felt like her hear was in her throat as she raced to help him but as soon as she arrived to where she saw the shadow it disappeared. She looked around calling for him but there was no answer to her calls. Her headache was just not helping her now. But as she thought more about it all she came to decision that there was no reason why her dad would be here. She looked around bit more just to be sure before continuing on her way. This time with bit longer steps.

At this time she was starting to wonder if the exit really existed. And as she walked lost in her thoughts she felt as she was sowing down and as she walked she was shrinking. When she looked down to see what was slowing her down first thing she saw was her legs turning into... liquid?! In panic she inspected her body and everywhere she looked she found same situation. She was slowly melting and she didn't know why. She was bakeneko not a slimy blob by nature. Now she just wanted to cry, one thing she couldn't do because she was entirely liquid, and to make matters worse there was a big straw coming her way. She looked in horror as it came so close it was about to touch her. And than... she was normal. There was no straw and her body was the same as always. Screaming Neza run to the beginning of the maze.

Fog. If Kiwi hadn't felt so very exhausted trudging through this mushroom forest, he may very well have been alarmed by that fact. Fog was fog after all, but one could never quite tell if it was simply fog, or that fog, the one that whispered sweetly of home. The one he found so very hard to resist ... Something sweet filled his lungs with each breath, distracting him from his thoughts as he somehow found himself quite drowsy. He was about to forcibly lie down for a nap then and there, if a face hadn't suddenly appeared before him in the gloom. A caterpillar. How odd.
Rest?? Yes, he was just about to do that. But this caterpillar seemed to want something more from him. Alright then. He would try ...
Stepping forward, Kiwi found himself in a maze. This was certainly different. Yawning, he began forward. It wasn't long before shapes began to form ahead. ... Kiwi's senses perked, but-
Reapers?? No, that wasn't right. They were shouting something about "Kill the winged one!" Kiwi backpedaled as fast as his leaden feet would carry him.
He ended up wading into a pit of scorching lava. Cursing, the boil jumped, enforcing some fancy footwork to get across. This was certainly a wake-up call.
At some point, he ended up riding astride his horse. H-how?? Wh-what?? ... this made no sense whatsoever ...
After wandering a bit again, an odd scent began to drift on the air, different from the first. Kiwi glanced out, and could swear he saw what looked like a wolf's pelt on the ground there, an oddly buff torso lying not far from it. And ... was that a tanned, bald head lying in the grass?? ... N-no, it couldn't be!
He backed slowly away.
Just when Kiwi was feeling reasonably safe, something appeared on the air that made Kiwi strongly question the liability of all this smoke and fog.
A little Famine girl.
He couldn't see her well, so it was unclear if it was her, but the figure was close enough. He hurried after as she led him along, fading out entirely just before he reached the exit.
Kiwi's heart sank. Mara ... he hoped she was safe, in whatever light she guided him from.

After all that, the caterpillar was almost a welcome sight, as Kiwi exited the maze. He was surprised when a mushroom labelled "Eat Me" was thrust at his feet. The last thing he had eaten had grown him at least twice his size. But a Famine horseman was always up for the challenge of an experiment.
"Here goes nothing," he spoke, as he took a bite.
Before Kiwi quite realized, he began to shrink, and shrink. A funny feeling overcame him, and the moment he reached his proper size, he fell out flat on the ground.
Everything was a little fuzzy for him, after having hit his head like that. Tseng looked around carefully, seeing that he was in some sort of forest. Only instead of trees, these were all mushrooms. There was some sort of perfume in the air, that made him feel strange. Not completely all here.
It was then that he heard the voice. It mocked him of his bravery.
"What? I am among the most courageous! How else could I eventually become one of the greatest heroes of the horsemen!" he shouted, soon seeing the caterpillar coming into the view. Despite him shouting that out, the world around seemed more surreal. That mattered little to him.
Shaking his head, Tseng moved on. He'd show that little bug who was brave. Most certainly. It wasn't long after he began to trek that he could smell something odd in the air. And yet, it was a familiar one. A scent often associated with gore.
Blood.
The scent alone didn't bother him, but he was curious as to what the source was. What he saw, was something he did not expect at all. On the ground nearby, he could see his dear little sister, Yuzhi... chopped up into pieces! Her entrails were strewn about on the ground.
It was not something he wanted to see ever.
It couldn't be real. He knew that much. But the sight still disturbed him greatly. Shaking his head, the imagery and scent vanished, and he let out a sigh in relief.
That wasn't all. The fog soon lifted around him. And he was free to move on.

Once the fog was fully gone, he heard the caterpillar speaking once again. Game? That was a game? The insect had showed him the chopped up parts of his sister! That was no game.
Catching the box thrown at him, he was about to hurl it right back at the creature, but he was now gone.
"Hmph."
Shaking his head to himself, Tseng opened up the box, finding a mushroom labeled "Eat me" within. The last trial of his had ended in a similar matter, only it had been a cookie. Perhaps... this would be the same. There was a foe to vanquish. And he was determined to do just that.
Throwing it to the ground, he tried to destroy the item. Just in case. Sure enough, it emitted that same foul smoke to envelope him. And now the world was dark.

"Mushrooms! ^.^" She cheered happily. Miyako was always easily amused. She recognized the mushrooms when she first saw them, but of course she also noticed they were huge, but that didn't seem to bother her. Now that she was amused she was more calm, as she skipped through the mushroom forest. But then the bakeneko started to smell something, something sweet. Thinking maybe it was food she followed the scent. But, she started feeling really tired. That was weird usualy it took alot to get her tired, and she hasn't even been walking that long. Her eyes widended, as they tend to do alot, when she found herself face to face with some stranger. She was confused about what he was talking about, and a little scared. Bravery? was she suppose to do something brave? The young bakeneko often times, was more like a scardy cat. But other times she was brave, but only when it involved something she strongly belived in. Other times she was just naive, ok no most of the time she was just naive, and never actually realizes that she's in a dangerous situation. Finally she realized he was a caterpillar. when she saw the hookah she twiched a bit nervously. She didn't like smoke at all. She was a little scared now, but at this point she wouldn't know how to go back if she wanted to. So she stayed and thought she would give it a try.
All of a sudden she was in a maze? She started walking through the maze trying to find her way through it when, she thought she saw her sister. Her sister was crying out in pain, calling for Miyako. Miyako quickly ran as fast as she could towards the image of her sister, but by the time she got there her sister was gone. She was confused, but decided to keep moving. She found herself in a familiar place, it was a place she always went to with her she went to with her sister and their friends. Seeing it made her happy. Now feeling a little better she starts to move forward. But, a few moments later she sees a group of strangers ahead. One speaks to the other saying "Kill the cat!" She starts to feel scared and worried and starts to run away from them. After a while she starts walking again, when suddenly she sees the horse. She decides to ride the horse so that it wouldn't be alone and neither would she. They could walk together through this maze. As they tritted along, she started to smell a weird scent in the air. She looks around, confused and her eyes widen as she sees body parts everywhere. After looking around for a while she finally realizes the dead people were her family and friends. She starts to cry in fear and sadness. She couldn't make it through the maze any further.
