Today:
What is it with people and sets?
Why is it, that when they see two items (say two of this year's ToT items) on an avatar, they call it a set?
Why do they think an avatar is worse because of it?
I have one item equipped right now.
ONE.
When I have the hood of it up, people still call it a set.
I tell them: Look at my profile, I have only ONE item equipped!
How the hell is that a set?!
Because it matches, they say.
Well, duh, it's ONE SINGLE FREAKING ITEM.
So, since some are really bad about it, whenever they rate and have two items of a 'set' equipped, I slam them for it.
They get mad at me, and I tell them tough luck.
When I'm being nice.
It's generally 'tough s**t.'
Then they get pissed at me.
Fine.
You say I'm wearing a set, I'll say you are.
Tough s**t.
Or as my one coworker said: karma's a b***h.
I have actually quit guilds and blacked users because of this.
I can't deal with them.
I am thinking of leaving yet another because of this.
Not this guild, it's not this one.

yesterday was my grandpa's birthday.
my mom was working, but we got there in time for the cake emotion_omnomnom
grandpa had a normal cake and an ice cream cake
he blew out the candles on the regular and tried to get his great-grandson to blow out the candles on the other.
the kid refused, so i went around Grandpa and did it myself.
got the first piece of cake.
in our family, the birthday person ALWAYS gets the first piece.
i'm his favorite, can't you tell? heart
it was HUGE, to make it better emotion_bigheart

we were friends from grades 4 to mid-11
best friends, actually
the girls who will do anything to get in a guy's pants called us lesbians back then -.-l|l

back on subject:
so, in middle school, she claimed to see ghosts.
and that her dad was an a**-this is somewhat plausible. he's not a person you want to be around
last year (we're seniors in high school now), i asked her if she remembered claiming to by psychic.
she said that i was a liar, she never did such a thing
what killed the friendship:
she started an account on a dating site. big deal. she met guys irl after meeting them there. big deal.
SHE CLAIMED THAT SHE WAS TWENTY-TWO.
i'm not eighteen until the 24th of this month. she won't be eighteen until 3/3/13
most fell for it, even after she posted a picture of herself.
one turned out to be a friend of one of the teachers at our school and called her bluff
another one called her out for it and she changed it to eighteen. he fell for that
she still talks to most of them.
i'm waiting for the day where she meets one of them and gets attacked.
she's already had a pregnancy scare after having sex with some of them
she still talks to me about how much her life sucks, and if i'm doing something else, she gets mad and calls me a b***h, among other things.
we still have a few classes together. in the one, she sits next to me and when we have papers to hand in, she tries to make me take hers up as well. i take it and put it back on her stuff, so that she can turn it in herself.
she gets pissed off at that
last year, she borrowed a book of mine. it stayed in her locker all year. she never read it
closer to the end of the year, i was reading another book, and she wanted to borrow that.i told her to return my other book first, and then she could borrow it.
keep in mind that the year before, she had asked me to hide a bunch of her papers from her dad, since he apparently searches her room now.
now, when i told her that, she said that i was being unfair. was not.
told people about it on Gaia, teachers,my parents and my sister.
"You're being fair, she's complaining about nothing."
finally on the last day, i brought in her stuff, and when she was cleaning out her locker, i grabbed my book and gave back her junk.
she plans on leaving on her birthday, because according to her, her dad's moving them up to Canada (he's Canadian) and basically locking her in the basement if she doesn't follow the 'planned life' he has for her...
right... emotion_eyebrow
and then she complains that her friends are bitches

teacher rundown:
these are opinions
THIS SCHOOL YEAR (senior year)
band-had her since 7th grade. she's awesome
chorus-not a singer but he apparently plays favoritism
art-there's three (two are part time), only know the full-time. she's nice
English-3rd year with her: homeroom sophomore and junior, English last year and this year
gym-first time with this particular teacher, but i've had classes where he also had a class (since there's almost always 2 gym classes in one period/block)
Econ (homeroom)-he's new, used to teach at the school my mom teaches at
teacher aide: freaking annoying. she's one of those people that has to know everything about everyone. iPod mode her. have a study hall with her
Food and Nutrition: meh. boring class, though the teacher is nice
study hall: the other one, had her almost every since school year, she's nice
PIG-u/a until next semester
not sure of other classes next semester beyond PIG

she has a ton of guys who want to be her boyfriend
one told her that they were going to an abandoned 'haunted' asylum or something like that
she got freaked, told me about it.
she's spiritual, and believes in protective charms and stuff, so me, her and one of her friends (who also went, since it all happened last night) went down to the library to look it up.
i'm not spiritual or religious, she's a mix, really
i can't wait until i'm out of high school...she's a person i'd rather forget

so, my school likes to mention every senior's birthday.
i was hoping that since mine was over a break, they wouldn't
NOPE
but hey, i had perks
in gym we played 'survivor' (aka dodgeball), and almost all the seniors said that because it was my birthday, they wouldn't go after me. sweet.
thankfully, the one vice principal didn't sing happy birthday to me...

i'm thinking about rearranging my room
what has to be done first:
laundry
organize 'closet' (storage area for off-season clothes, unicorns and unwanted blankets)
organize books
clean off the carpet at least somewhat
figuring out what can go where without blocking the two outlets in the entire frickin room
might not seem like much, but i've been collecting unicorns for almost my entire life, i have a TON of laundry to get done, a lot of books, and some wall hangings for pictures, as well as a poster.
all this for a 10'x10' bedroom x.x
