Marching Band nationals was last night,which means our season is over for the year crying but lets remember all the good times

Our state performance
This performance at state, declared us the 6th best 2A band in Colorado (and sense we will be 3A next year, I took the liberty of noting we would have been 9th, which is better than last year when were were 3A). My favorite part of the show was the pit yelling "Abandon all hope". It's not in this video because our amp broke, but there were supposed to be lines from the poem "The Divine Comedy".

We took 16th in state for the 5A bands in Co. Considering we had to change half of first movement less than a week before state, we did pretty good.

We set 2nd in a day, then had to rewrite part of 1st and 3rd. That's always fun.

(crzy people in band wouldn't call it Cinemagic)
ANYWAYS
It had harry potter, starwars, some Indiana jones ET and Swing Swing Swing.
It was great fun biggrin

it was called "The Colors We Hear" and it was the same music a different high school used, and their show was about artificial intelligence. which seemed a lot cooler but oh well xD
My favorite part of the show was the woodwind features

Im in the front ensemble too! i think its rly interesting ho you all are set up to the side. Our band has us set up in the middle and branch out
Anyway,your how is pretty creative with the music, i like the colorgaurd work...and love those chimes and marimba smile
