Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Alexa walked into the stadium with Masked Socks beside her. She looked down at her Eevee and smiled. Hopefully today would go well for her. Socks doesn't have such a great track record after all. The field wasn't the best but they would deal. "Okay Socks.... let's show them what we're made of."
Masked Socks ran away at those words and headed for the canyon. She couldn't wait to battle again. It felt great to win but losing wasn't bad either. The thrill of the battle was what she sought.

Kipper was a bit intimidated by the field, he wasn't such a great flyer, but he could try! Flying was kind of fun!

Masked Socks looked at the duck pokemon and grinned. "Hey there! You ready for this?" She called out before running at the Psyduck. Her mouth opened up and she tried to bite him.

Kipper quacked loudly as he was bitten. "" He quickly flew away from the Eevee, she wasn't very nice!
"Kipper use Brick Break!" Sienna called.
Kipper was wary as he flew close to the Eevee in order to deliver the Brick Break.

Socks watched as the duck flew away and tried to run away from the incoming attack. As soon as she felt the wing hit her back she twisted around to latch onto anything. "You can't complain about taking hits! It's a battle!" She replied.

Kipper had no comeback to the Eevee's comment, he supposed she was right. He wasn't completely stupid anymore, he knew this was a fight and not playing. He flew at her again.

Socks went down when hit with the Brick Break. Tired of it already she let out a big yawn directed at the duck. Maybe this would buy her some time.

Kipper suddenly felt very sleepy and decided to take a nap on one of the cliffs.
"Sleep Talk!" Sienna called out, hopefully Kipper would hear her.
He must have, as he soon started mumbling in his sleep.

Socks tried to get away but she tripped and then was chopped right across her head. She took a moment to recover and decided that Kipper was more dangerous asleep than awake! She turned around and tried to bite him hoping he would wake up soon.
