Roll a Seven: Forest Field: Thick trees, some small while others greatly exceed double your own height, sprout at random places throughout the field. Giant roots provide easy excuses for pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG and GRASS type attacks.This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

"This time, I know you can do this!" Charlotte said as she released Mara out onto the field. Almost immediately, she got caught in some dangling vines, and had to wriggle herself free. "Well, that's if you don't get stuck anywhere..."

"Let's start this! Shadow Ball!" called out Charlotte. Mara nodded as darkness surrounded her, blocking out all light. She unleashed a shadowy orb at her opponent.

Rasha was struck hard. Using all her agility, she darted through the trees towards the Driftloon, sparks crackling around her.

Mara was knocked hard by the charge attack, and ended up hitting a few tree branches.
"Oof, Mara, you got this!" Charlotte yelled out, somewhat unsure in her own statement. "Hey, try using Toxic!"
Floating over toward her opponent, Mara spit out a disgusting purple sludge, hoping it'd poison Rasha and wear her down.

Rasha was coated in the gunk. But the Driftloon was pretty close...Rasha leaped at the purple pokemon, sparks flying again.

Mara did a happy little bounce in the air as her attack hit, but her celebration was cut short by an oncoming electrified Ponyta.
"D'oh! Well, at least that was successful!" Charlotte said with a smile. "Now just keep attacking!"
Angered at getting hit, Mara absorbed more darkness from around her and fired it at Rasha.

The Shadow Ball hit surprisingly strongly. Between the attack and the poison, Rasha didn't feel very well. Still, she tried her best to attack again.

Screeching in pain, Mara was thrown into some shrubbery from the force of the attack. Rasha wasn't going down without a fight!
"That's gotta hurt..." Charlotte said, nervously fiddling with her hair as she watched the fight. "Mara, you've gotta win this! Just hold on! Use Shadow Ball again!"
Though she felt herself growing weaker, Mara didn't want to have to lose again. She unleashed more shadowy energy towards her opponent.

Rasha really didn't feel well at all. But the faster she beat this balloon, the faster she could get out of here. She attacked again.

Mara was hit hard by the Wild Charge - much harder than she anticipated. She was thrown to the ground, and despite her best efforts, could not muster up enough energy to bring herself back into the air. All she could do was begin screaming in a high-pitched fashion. Victory was so close! And yet, so terribly far...
Charlotte sighed as she returned Mara to her ball. "Well, it just still isn't your day," she said somberly. "Thanks for the battle, Shina, it was pretty intense! Just goes to show you that you never know when someone will come out ahead, heheh..."
