Rolled a four: Water field: Five large platforms float on the surface of the deep pool. Four form a diamond formation around the single platform in the center. While land pokemon can move around on this field, it is mainly built for water-types. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to WATER type attacks.

Kytti entered the arena and smiled, "This should be interesting."
The Duskull yawned and floated down to the arena to await her opponent. Her movements sent up small ripples over the water.

Alexa walked into the stadium and took in the arena. This one wouldn't be good for Apolla. However she still released her Ninetails. "Alright Apolla let's do this." She said. She noticed her opponent's Duskull and took in the elaborate markings. It certainly was a unique one.
Apolla was released from her pokeball and stepped onto one of the platforms. She sat down and began grooming one of her tails. She quickly finished and shot a disdainful look at the water.

"Let's start this off with Toxic!" Kytti commanded happily.
Sanctuary yawned for a moment before building a ball of sludge between her hands and launched it towards the opponent.

"Dodge it Apolla!" Alexa called out. It wasn't really needed as Apolla was already moving. "Good job." She called, "Use Ominous Wind!"
Apolla dodged the ball of sludge. She was at the edge of the platform so she just jumped to the next one. She then turned around and whipped her tails. A creepy wind was kicked up and shot towards Sanctuary.

The wind howled around Sanctuary as he yawned.
"Try your Toxic again," Kytti cheered.
The Duskull formed a ball of light and launched it towards the opponent.
"Confuse Ray works too I guess," Kytti thought with a chuckle.

Alexa tried to think of what to do and came up with a plan. "Apolla use Heat Wave!" She called out.
Apolla however got distracted by the ball of light and became momentarily confused. She thought she was looking at the Duskull and breathed a hot sigh on her.

Duskull floated lazily to the side and dodged the heat wave.
"Again! Use another confuse ray," Kytti happily told her Duskull.
Sanctuary formed another ball of light and sent it racing towards the opponent.

"Try it once more!" Alexa called out. Her plan depended on this working. If it didn't well then she had to come up with something else.
Apolla closed her eyes when she heard the words confuse ray. Deeming it safe she opened them shortly afterwards and breathed more hot breath at the Duskull.

Alexa frowned when Apolla missed again. "Come on Apolla! Once more!" She called out. If it didn't work this time... well she'd go back to just attacking.
Apolla wasn't fast enough to avoid looking at the confusion causing ball and soon became confused. She tried to breath hot air on the Duskull but she wasn't sure if she was even facing her.

Apolla whined when the weird symbols hit and put extra pressure on her. She whipped her tails kicking up an otherworldly wind and directed it at Sanctuary.
