______ lives in a nice little village and is the local healer, or doctor. He's also protective of his hometown, so when some vagrants came brushing through to cause trouble he did what he could to send them off. Mori, a young male who lives outside of town, he keeps to himself for reasons only he knows. One day he's in town getting food and supplies, as he does every couple days or weeks at a time, otherwise no one ever sees him around. But he always seems pretty sweet and kind, no one in the village seems to have much of a problem with him, despite the rumors that some spread around because they deem him suspicious with how closed off he is from the rest of them. On this one particular day, when the vagrants are causing trouble in the town, Mori happens to be there. He sees _____ having some trouble getting the punks to leave. No one expected it, but as one of the punks was smacked at the back of his knees causing him to tumble over, they saw it was Mori, with the medium length bamboo pole he used as a fishing pole. He had smacked the guy knocking him over, quickly smacking over another eventhough they tried next to attack Mori, he whipped them all to the ground with the bamboo pole and walked off with his basket of essentials he purchased. Leaving those that had witnessed the scene staring and puzzled. Later that night as everything had calmed down, ____ was out walking around when he sees lots of smoke billowing up outside the village. _____ Rushes to see what happened, and soon as he gets out there after gathering up some villagers for help they come upon Mori's home lit on fire, seeing the retreating vagrants from earlier, they had gone after the male that beat them up earlier. ____ valiantly rushes in and finds Mori collapsed in the building debris as the flames flick. He pulls him out while the others work to douse the flames to keep the damage minimal as they can and to keep it from getting to the forest. ____ brings Mori to his home, tending to the scratches and wounds, having a bandage wrapped around Mori's eyes, he had tended to the damage there but they'd have to wait and see, the possibility Mori might not be able to see again.

Name: Mori Age: 20 Gender: Male Bio: Not much if known about the male, at least by others, he seems sweet enough most of the time, but is not much of a talker when it comes to his life, his past. After the episode with the vagrants, there definitly seemed to be more than meets the eye to this male. He seems small and not quite the type to have easily beaten down some punks with just a fishing pole, so that piques curiosities.

It was nightime and peaceful, or well it had been, as the blonde sat at home sipping his tea. Mulling over the events of the day, which included those punks back in the village. He'd watched curiously as the doctor there, Kirito had tried to shoo off the men, but they were just so much trouble. Mori had stepped in and had to show his hand so to speak, in that he had knocked out the men with such a skill that must have been unexpected. Almost ready to sleep, mori was getting prepared for bed, but things went blank from there. His memory was fuzzy but now it replayed like a nightmare, those punks had come in and attacked him before kicking him down again and set fire to his home. He could barely breathe or see, but he felt someone picking him up, pulling him out of the blaze. He heard the screams of everyone there trying to douse the flames. But he couldn't maintain consciousness, even openin his eyes things blurred and he blacked out. Groaning, Mori stirred from his sleep, wincing as he felt sore all over, and something was covereing some parts of his body. Bandages? he felt bandages wrapped in places. But he couldn't see, raising a hand he felt bandages there, and then trying to open his eyes underneath the bandages it burned, he couldn't dare open them. Letting out a little cry of pain, shuddering, hearing light movements but was still confused. "W-where am I?!" he asked panicked.

Kirito was in the kitchen organizing medicine from his medicine cabinet. "Let's see. That goes here...and this can go here." he said speaking quietly to himself. Placing bottles where they needed to go. He gave a sigh as he thought about what happened last night. "I hope he is ok." he thought to himself. The guy who seemed so distant from the rest of the village has unexpectedly saved him from thugs and next thing you know the man's hose gets burned down. Not to soon Kirito hears panicking coming from Mori. He turned around and walked over to the patient's bed and saw that Mori was sitting up and started to panic a bit. "Don't worry." said Kirito as he walked on over and placed a hand on Mori's shoulder. "It's ok, you're at the village clinic. Basically my home. I'm the village Doctor." he said trying to reassure Mori that he was in a safe place. Kirito walked over to his desk , which was in the same room, and sat in his seat. "You are one lucky fellow. Had I not seen the smoke who knows what could have happened to you." he said with a sheepish chuckle and nervous smile.

Mori jumped, gasping when he felt the hand on his shoulder and the now closer person. Taking in quick breaths, trying to calm himself, he didn't feel this person was a threat. And he was familiar, but he couldn't think of why until he'd heard where he was...the clinic, sighing relaxing to some extent now knowing it was the doctor. Hanging his head listening to him. He couldn't exactly look at him, the bandages wrapped around his eyes and all. One arm from his knuckles to his elbow was covered too, his other arm it was just around his wrist. And one leg from his ankle to behind his knee, his opposite leg one around his foot. He was dinged up all over, he could even still smell the singed scent from the ends of his hair. His hair was long and blonde down to just about his hips, but the fire had caught to some so now it was singed to a shorter length. Not so short, it was now mid back. "....I guess...thank you then..." Sounding fairly sullen, he was just in such a state after it all and unsure how to act or react.

Kirito smiled and looked over Mori's files. "It's no worries. Besides I owe you one for helping me earlier...but I feel that it was partially my fault for what they. I apologize." he said as he stood up. "Now, you may have realized already but it'll hurt if you open your eyes. So I suggest you keep it closed. But...it's a slim chance that you might be able to see again.." he said in a sympathetic tone. "Though you do have a small percentage of you gaining your sight. I'll do whatever I can to help you get them back." he said placing the files back on his desk. "Mori, would you like anything to eat? You must be hungry." he said looking over to the other male.

Mori wouldn't have had much of a file, since there was so much he kept secret, the most Kirito would have in there was a blood type and some random notes of check ups. Mori tensed as Kirito was on the topic of those punks, frowning, he couldn't blame him, or at least he didn't want to, it was his own fault he had gotten himself involved. But he couldn't let them do anything since they were likely going to. He felt a pang a twinge of what might have been pain or sadness, something, hearing about his sight. '...a small percentage...' Opening his mouth, "A small percentage...I don't see how you can even fathom being hopeful about this." Muttering at Kirito, since he was annoyed thinking about it. He sat there quiet, almost as if he wouldn't answer, but his stomach was in need of something, so he had to answer, begrudgingly, "Yes...I am hungry...And no there isn't anything I can't eat" muttering the last one, he would be doing this himself if he could, making something to eat.

Kirito frowned a bit. 'Yes, a small percentage." he said after clearing his throat a bit. "It doesn't seem like much but it is something. You never know what may happen." he said as he walked towards the door. He gave a small chuckle that was too quiet even Mori couldn't hear. "Alright. I'll go ahead and get food ready for you." he said going into the kitchen. Many of the village women brought food over for Mori. Well really for the doctor since he didn't like taking money from families who were already struggling. He gave a sigh and rubbed the back of his neck. Picking up a plate and placing on it a small loaf of bread, a hearty slice of ham drizzled in homemade gravy and a few vegetables. Lastly, Kirito got the blonde a cup of water and walked back to place the food on a table. The table was small enough to fit on the bed and was positioned over Mori's legs. "Would you like me to feed you?" he asked. Since he couldn't really see and Kirito didn't want Mori accidentally spilling food or had him hurt himself.

Mori was quiet, brooding while Kirito was moving around as he could hear the shuffling movements whether it be his feet or what he was doing in the kitchen. One hand moving he felt the material of what clothing was on him, it was like a medical/hospital robe but a kimono version it was plain white and just a light material that laid on his body without aggravating any wounds. Mori didn't know that but as he felt around on it he could more or less figure it out, and he had a blanket over his legs he felt. His head whipped up looking where he assumed Kirito was standing near. Shakin his head, "N-no...I'm fine..." Frowning turning his head back to the table, raising his hand hesitently feeling for the table edge. He was stubborn about accepting help, eventhough he knew he needed it. Finally getting the edge, he moved his hand on it feeling around, but he got to the glass of water and bumped it. It was tipping when he grabbed hold of it just before it fell after gasping. His nose crinkling like he was furrowing his brow, sighing keeping his hold a moment longer and let it go when it wasn't falling over. Looking defeated about that, letting his hand drop to his lap now, turning his head away from the table and Kirito.

Kirito stood near him. He let out a small gasp when Mori almost tipped the glass over. Seeing as Mori was unable to try and eat Kirito intervened. "Here.I'll feed you." he said as got his chair and brought it to Mori's bedside. He took the fork and began cutting the ham into small bite size pieces. "There we go. Now go ahead and open your mouth." said Kirito as he pierced the ham with the fork. With one hand under the food so that nothing will drip he carried it over to Mori's mouth. "Awwwwwww." he said with a cheery smile. Kirito needed Mori to eat. It would help him get better and who knows with a good improvement on his health his eye sight could come back in no time.

Mori kept his head turned refusing to look in the direction Kirito was or the food, making a hmph noise as he said he would feed him. He was stubborn about taking the help, feeling real defeated about it, kinda sullen like a little kid. His stomach was in revolt of him wanting food, so he finally turned his head back as Kirito had gone and said open wide basically. Opening his mouth, taking the bit off the fork, chewing it. His cheeks tinged pink from Kirito's awwing at him. Swallowing the piece pouting, "I'm not a little kid..." though he kinda whined like he was. Mori was a sweety but he was just in a very closed off sort of mood after this accident had occured.

"Well you are acting like one." he said with a chuckle. Kirito fed him a couple more bites until there was a knock at the door. He looked over his shoulders and heard a woman's voice. "Doctor!? Doctor are you there!?" she called out. The voice sounded frantic. Kirito placed the food on the small table and quickly went to the door. Upon opening it he saw a mother holding her daughter. The little girl had a blood streaming down her head. "Wha-What happened?!" he asked as he took the little girl into his arms. He placed her on the bed while the mother told him the story. After the commotion went down the mother was waiting outside in the kitchen while Kirito tucked the girl in a bed next to Mori. He went out and told her that everything was going to be fine. "It was only a scratch. I'll keep an eye on her here so please relax." he said. The mother nodded. "Please allow me to bring you food." she said going out the door. Kirito returned to the patience room and sat down near Mori since his chair was still near his bed. "My, that was a real scare." he said in a sigh of release.

Mori kind of bristled at that, giving a hmph noise. Taking a few more bites from Kirito feeding him until hearing the knocking and franticness which had him jump a bit. "W-what happened?" He asked curiously from where he was sitting, hearing the movements when Kirito came in with someone. He couldn't help asking with the urgency the woman had. That was probably what bothered him most he couldn't see anything of what was going on. Hearing him saying to the woman about something only being a scratch, after the woman had left at least he suspected she'd left, "what happened?" Asking again as Kirito came by him again.

Kirito looked over to Mori and smiled. "A woman's daughter fell off a branch of a tree when she tried to go get her kite out of it." he said rubbing the back of his neck. "Luckily she got away with a minor bump to the head and a few scratches. She'll be staying here for awhile until she wakes up." he said. "But I got to say, it got my heart racing seeing a little girl with blood on her head." he added in with a bit more sympathetic voice. Looking over to Mori. "Would you like to finish your food or are you not hungry anymore. You should drink all your water at the least." he said getting the water and placing it in Mori's hand.
