Alexis had stayed home most of the day, sans for the morning when she had visited the little cafe` that Noah worked at. It'd become habit for her when she found they would serve fresh fruit.
However, evening was falling and despite her want to stay indoors, Alexis didn't have anything warm to drink other than coffee. Coffee, which she was not in the mood for. So her plans were to run to the nearest bistro and grab a to go cup of something, maybe a Latte or a cappuccino, either would've done.
What she wasn't expecting though, to see a familiar face. Alone. At night?
"Millie?" She questioned peering towards a smaller girl with pink hair. As a former teacher she still felt some obligations to her former students. "What are you doing out here alone?" She was sure the child didn't have her parents with her, because a quick glance around would confirm that a number of people were smart enough to stay inside.

Millie was just walking home from getting something at the drugstore, it wasn’t so late that she felt worried about anything, and her mom knew she was out, so despite it being night time, she didn’t feel unsafe at all. Besides. How unsafe could she be? Her henshin pen was tucked in her jacket pocket, and one of her hands was clamped around it, just in case.
One thing Millicent hadn’t been expecting was someone to say her name. She gave the slightest little jump and looked up, frowning for a moment, then smiling widely. “Miss Bailey! Where have you been?” She ran over to her former teacher and gave a very improper hug. Well. Being polite and grown up didn’t really matter.
Art class had been one of her favorites, and ever since Miss Bailey had left…well, it hadn’t been as good at all. “I’ve missed you teaching us! Why did you leave? Did you decide you didn’t like us anymore? I mean, I know that some of the kids are awful, but I thought I was a pretty okay student…”

Alexis smiled when the child ran over and her a hug. "Ah haha, Hi Millie. I've been around, the library, cafe, arcade, you should know this by now kiddo. All the kids I taught always knew where to find me."
The smile faltered as the child talked about missing her. "I had to leave because of the rules they were trying to force on me." She answered looking at Millie, "Sometimes even adults don't like the rules when they're a little over-bearing. It's not about how bad or good anyone's been."
She looked around, "There's a bench would you like to sit down for a moment?" She sipped her coffee, "I can walk you home afterwords, it's dangerous out here you know?"

Millie nodded. Sometimes rules could be terrible…and maybe she had known how to find her…but finding her just wasn’t top on her list of priorities really…though she had missed her. “I don’t really like rules either. I mean, they’re not terrible, I just don’t…care for some of them, I suppose. They can be really dumb.”
She nodded, glad to be able to talk with her teacher once again, though when she mentioned it being dangerous and having to walk Millie home, it took all of the child’s strength not to just laugh. Boy if her teacher only knew. She did know how dangerous it could be, and she was more than ready to stop all of that danger lickity split. She just had to power up and pow. That danger was going to be sorry it ever crossed her path…but.
“If you want to walk me home I guess you can. I don’t really need it, but thank you!”LP Sorry for the wait. orz I think I lost the rp.

"Yeah, I know a lot of rules seem pointless and some may really be. But there's a point where it's too much, it's why I tried not to have that many rules in my classroom."
Alexis tilted her head a little when Millie said she didn't need walking home. "Are you sure? I mean there are monsters out here." Maybe Alexis didn't know all the dangers but the fact she knew at least some of the details enough to worry about the child. "I'm surprised your parents let you wonder around without at least a group. Do they even realize what's running around the city?"Orangeish Sherbert Ahh no problem, if I'd known I would've quoted you or something.
